He uses a report every session so you know exactly what to work on each time you come around to the next lesson. His calm approach allows anyone to feel comfortable behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: I have had several instructors over the years, but Tim is by far the best I have ever had by far. Incredibly professional, knowledgable and patient. After failing my test three times, he was able to get me to pass on my fourth time after only ten hours of lessons. He taught me things that other instructors never did, helping me to become more safe and observant, and ultimately pass my test. His car is simply wonderful to drive in, it's very responsive and comfortable. I opted to use his car on my test because of how easy it was to drive Tim honestly wants you to pass your driving test, and he will do everything he can to ensure that you do. I have had other instructors that literally drove me in circles just to waste time and money, but with Tim, every lesson we had was purposeful in order to teach me everything I needed to drive competently and safely, as well as passing my driving test If you go with Sterling, I guarantee you it will be money well spent, and you WILL pass

Fantastic experience: Tim couldn't have been a more patient, understanding and encouraging instructor. I progressed so much better with him than I did previously. He understood straight away where I was at with my driving and we progressed smoothly until I reached a point where I was able to pass my test. The difference that sets Tim apart from other instructors is he truly wants you to pass, and so he doesn't hang around giving you lessons that you don't need in order to get more out of you, and at the same time he is calm and kind and gives you time to relax if you need it before driving. He knew when to push me and when not to push me, knowing what I was capable of and when I was capable of it. And not once did he raise his voice or get angry in the moment if I did something wrong. He kept calm and we carried on. I'm so grateful I can now drive legally, sooner than I expected, and with a test result better than expected on my first test attempt. I would thoroughly recommend Tim as your instructor!

Fantastic experience: I was in my 30s when I started to learn to drive. Being dyslexic I had shied away from it as the pressure of learning things has always made it just seem too onerous. Tim put together a bespoke programme for me so that I could learn in my own way and at my own pace. He was understanding, patient, and encouraging in every lesson. I was able to pass my test on the first attempt which seemed like an impossible prospect when I first started. Simply put, I cannot recommend him enough.
