Negative experience: Not for me, didn't respond to texts

Fantastic experience: After a 30-year break from driving, I chose Matt Robinson Driving School to help me get back behind the wheel. They were professional, supportive, and gave me the knowledge, skills, and confidence I needed to pass my test first time!

Fantastic experience: Was an amazing driving instructor, helping me pass first time. Was incredibly supportive throughout and it's clear he has a lot of experience in this field. Couldn't recommend him enough really. He didn't want to waste my money throughout the learning period, recommending that we stop lessons for a few weeks allowing me to peak at the right time for my test. He's an incredibly down to earth guy and as stated before, couldn't recommend Matt enough. The car is always incredibly clean and well serviced and just great to drive in general.

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend! Without Dave I don't think I'd ever feel ready for my driving test. Last week I passed first time with 3 minors. He's fun, laid back and incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you for all your patience Dave, couldn't have done it without you!

Negative experience: had matt as an instructor, barely got 2 lessons out of him in a months time, vaped constantly whilst on lessons, heard of another pupil who was with him who had multiple lessons dn never got past 3rd gear. other people seem to have good times with him but i did not

Fantastic experience: Brilliant guy, really chill and simplifies driving really well. Failed twice with a different woth instructor and came to matt and passed first time. Recommended him if you want to pass first time and want a nice guy to help you with that

Fantastic experience: Matt was a really nice bloke helped me though all aspects of driving and managed to actually enjoy my lessons with him. Very flexible around my working hours and helped me pass first time. Can't fault him other than he plays golf. Thanks Matt appreciate your time and effort.

Fantastic experience: We would highly recommend Matt. Our son had failed his driving test twice before we met Matt. Matt came in Sept 24 and assessed Harrison and gave feedback to us as to what was going wrong and how many lessons would be needed. Matt asked me also to drive out on their first lesson so that I could also see what he was teaching Harrison and the bad habits that he had picked up from a previous instructor. Harrison went out for 5 lessons and passed his test third time, with Matts help. Harrison says sometimes when he is in the car that Matt really helped him to be a confident and relaxed driver. Maybe if we had had Matt back in Jan 24 Harrison would have passed sooner. Thank Matt x Holly Boyd

Fantastic experience: i haven't had any lessons with Matt. However, he was very helpful in offering advice over the phone for my outstanding circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dave enough. He is the best instructor I have ever had! I started lessons with Dave after having a bad experience with a previous instructor, and it was safe to say I was nervous and hated driving when I first started lessons with Dave. There was many times I wanted to give up, I felt like I wasn’t making any progress and the words ‘I can’t do it’ were used a lot, however, the word ‘can’t’ got banned in the car and was replaced with ‘I can do it’! Dave believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself & I will never be able to thank him enough, for getting me from barely able to drive a car to passing my test and feeling completely comfortable driving, which I never thought was possible. He never gave up on me even when it was challenging at times, and i’m so glad I stuck with it, he really is the best and he has changed my life forever!

Fantastic experience: I did my lessons with Dave and can honestly say my experience has been excellent. Passed my test with 42 hours of lessons over the course of a few months which is bellow the government average. Perfect driving school for college students like myself. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Passed First time. Not much else to say Took a while because of covid, but we got there in the end, was great communicating any issues or possible problems before hand. Matt is a very calm and great communicator while teaching you.

Fantastic experience: Matt is a great driving instructor who really helped me to think for myself. Despite having to work around covid, isolating, face masks etc I managed to pass with no minors! Highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for someone who will help to bring out your best :)

Fantastic experience: Dave is an amazing instructor, he taught my son everything in 3 weeks after i had been paying an instructor for 5 months. Dave taught him most of what he knows now. My son passed 1st time with no minors, i cant thank him enough for what he taught him, I'd never look anywhere else now

Fantastic experience: Had some issues with a few instructors before i was even able to have my first lesson, then i was recommended Matt who's been really good. Matt is a brilliant driving instructor, very patient and relaxed. Lessons felt comfortable and he really understands how to engage with you to help you better understand and feel more comfortable on the road. Going through 3 lockdowns wasn't easy but Matt managed my lessons well and ensured i was ready, he was great as i was able to pass my test on my first attempt. highly recommend and cannot fault!

Fantastic experience: I tried other instructors and the 5DAY course and it never worked out for me, seemed like a waste of time and I wish I had Matt from the start. Learning through covid was really stressful, but Matt scheduled our lessons to make sure I was test ready. He made it really simple to drive. From our first lesson to our last there was a massive change in my skill, knowledge and confidence. Now I have a passed my test I can fully recommend Matt Robinson Driving School. The best instructor I could wish for, I promise you will learn properly how to drive to pass your test! Save money and time.
