Fantastic experience: It’s a shame you can only do 5 stars . I can’t recommend Andy at Weekend Wheels enough . I have tried to learn to drive multiple times over the last 35 years and I’ll be honest I found it boring and stressful . Then I met Andy and 11 months later I passed . He made my learning journey fun and explained everything in a way I could just understand which made it easy to remember . He always took the time to listen to me and let me drive my own journey with what I felt I needed more time and practice with . He was patient when I had tears (overthinking on my part) but overall I had such a laugh on my lessons . If you’re wanting to pass then Andy is your man .

Fantastic experience: Learnt to drive with George and today I’ve finally passed my practical driving test with only two minors! George has been absolutely amazing, supportive and very helpful when it came to overcoming my anxiety around driving. Thank you so much Weekend Wheels, I couldn’t have done it without you! Fantastic experience: I was taught by two of the weekend wheels drivers, George and briefly John. i had a really great experience with both of them, they where both encouraging and invested in my learning. i passed my test first time today thanks to their help.

Fantastic experience: George is a great driving instructor who always tries to make things as easy as possible. From day one, he’s been patient, clear, and really good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. He never rushes or makes me feel bad if I make a mistake—instead, he stays calm and helps me learn from it. What I really appreciate is how flexible and helpful he is. He always works around my schedule, and he goes out of his way to make lessons less stressful, and breaking things down step by step. You can tell he actually cares about his students doing well, not just passing the test!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m writing this review on the same day as my successful driving exam. I’m incredibly happy and satisfied with this school, especially my driving instructor John. The school was easy to contact, everyone was friendly and helped me start driving as quickly as possible. I’ve got to give massive thanks to John in particular, for being a patient, knowledgeable and experienced teacher capable of putting you at ease even if you make mistakes. The prices are more than fair for the type of tutoring you get, including being able to track your progress using an app. I’d recommend this school to everyone who’s looking to start driving, whether you feel fully ready or not this school is absolutely for you. I would happily steer everyone to this school, especially over the major driving schools like RED. Thanks to all!

Fantastic experience: Amazing company to do driving with. Andy was very patient with me and helped me build up my confidence slowly. Very understanding when lessons had to change last minute. Fantastic experience: I passed my test on the 5th of February after learning with John for six months. He was very friendly and excellent at explaining everything we would be doing in each lesson, making them both enjoyable and productive. Throughout my lessons, I made great progress, developing my driving skills and building my confidence on the road. John was always punctual and extremely helpful when I was searching for a test cancellation. He managed to fit me in at short notice and helped me pass on my second attempt with no driver faults. Brilliant instructor—highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had Andy as my instructor and I couldn’t recommend him more. I’ve just passed 1st time and I couldn’t have done it without his guidance and support. He set my mind at ease in lessons and through to the test. His teaching was logical, easy to follow and methodical. I’ve been quite nervous leading up to the test day but Andy helped me keep my nerves in check while managing to get the best out of me. Andy does push you to be the best you can but never too far. Fantastic experience: My daughter just passed her driving test first try with 0 faults, thanks to her instructor George. He is a very thorough and patient teacher. Not only that, I can tell he genuinely cares for his students. He makes sure to put them at ease and gives them pep talk to boost their confidence and self belief, especially before their exam. Fantastic experience: Passed my test on first attempt and I couldn’t have done it without George’s help. It was my luck finding such a calm, encouraging and patient instructor (we repeated the roundabouts countless times until I was confident and safe). I had to unlearn most of my driving habits from India and I found learning to drive in the UK quite challenging, especially the complex roundabouts, following road signs and driving at such higher speeds on dual carriageways and motorways. George will always make sure you are at ease while driving and not upset or dwelling on mistakes. Very thankful to him for giving me the confidence and would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Andy. He made sure I learnt all I needed to learn, to not only pass my test, but be a safe driver on the roads. I had so many driving habits to unlearn owing to my previous driving experience outside of the UK which required much work and Andy took the time to walk me through thoroughly. I passed my test on first attempt and it was a walk over because Andy took the time to do a perfect job. I will definitely recommend Andy of Weekend Wheels anytime.

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to George and Andy. My daughter took several lessons over the past year with another driving instructor but failed to make any progress. We got to the point we thought, she was just not going to be a driver. Andy was recommended to us by a friend. In a few lessons we saw a tremendous improvement in her skill and confidence, which as a parent we found heartwarming. Even after George had to take time away for medical reasons he helped us secure a test date and intensive lessons withAndy, enabling her to take her test before going to Uni abroad. We are so grateful to George and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an extremely competent, reliable and responsive driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Just had some refresher Lessons with George after not driving for a little while. I had lost all confidence to get back behind the wheel again. As an impatient and an anxious individual, I never Imagined in my life that I would ever pass. John is very versatile in his teaching style by adapting to people's personalities, he also makes you feel very comfortable. If you make an error no problem he'll help you bounce back without allowing the error to ruin your confidence moving forward. Fantastic experience: Just had a motorway lesson with George, we covered 52 miles and dropped into 3 service stations and so I am fully familiar with all the procedures on the motorway, and what happens if I break down and how to get help. I recommend the motorway lessons to anyone who hasn't done motorway lessons before and wants support to feel more confident like I now do.

Fantastic experience: I learnt to drive manual with John. I passed on Friday, first time with 3 minors, after learning for 8 month. I can honestly say John is the most amazing teacher ever! He is calm, patient, encouraging and so knowledgeable! He made everything a teachable moment and helped me go from an anxious wreck to a calm proficient driver. I started knowing absolutely nothing and now am so confident! If you are looking for a good qualified instructor I cannot recommend him enough - I credit my passing to him; he made the process so smooth an easy. He communicated really well with me throughout my learning journey and was such a joy to learn from. Amazing company, fab instructor - what more could you ask for!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few problems with previous driving instructors so my mum had called Weekend Wheels to see if there was an instructor available to teach me. George said he was completely booked up but gave me a FREE 30 minute assessment on a Friday evening just to give me some advice on where I can improve because he wanted to help. He is the kindest and most patient instructor I’ve ever driven with and didn’t make me feel stupid for getting things wrong. Taking the time out to see me drive and not taking any payment for it was such a kind gesture, and shows just how much he cares for learners, as well as keeping the roads safe!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Goerge at weekend wheels, he as been teaching zach all the way when it was allowed through covid and when zach passed his threory test on 6th june he told him to book his test and when he told gWould highlyoerge he booked it for today 10th june it worked out that goerge had other arrangement and couldn't do Friday. With in few minutes zach got a text saying don't worry I've canceled what I had planned I'll pick you up Friday morning. To me that is dedication to his students again thank you goerge for all that you have done.
