Fantastic experience: UPDATE TO MY REVIEW BELOW. Tom has been incredibly helpful despite my daughter not having a driving lesson from him. He has provided so much help and advice without wanting anything in exchange. I’ll spare his blushes and try to keep it short. Thanks to Tom, my daughter now has a driving test in just a couple of weeks at Weston rather than Llantrisant in 6 months time! He deserves more than 5 stars! Cheers Tom. I rarely write reviews but I am leaving this and several other reviews with driving instructor’s based in Weston because I want to highlight just how helpful they were following an email enquiry. My daughter is ready to take her practical test but, as you may know, getting a test date is almost impossible. We have had to book a date in July and a test centre in Wales! I reached out to this local driving instructor to see if they could help. I was happy to commit to some lessons if they could guarantee a test at the end of it. I anticipated my email to be ignored or even elicit a blunt ‘NO’. But, this instructor not only replied promptly they took the time to write a very helpful message explaining how driving instructors have the same challenges as anyone else when it come to booking a driving test. They offered advice above and beyond what I expected. Obviously, I can’t comment on their instruction ability but their communication was excellent. They were honest and extremely helpful. They didn’t have to be because they are also clearly very busy at the moment and passing over my slightly cheeky enquiry would have been understandable. Well done and thank you.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test yesterday having done lessons with Tom. He is an excellent instructor who is very thorough and methodical in how he teaches which helped me become a confident safe driver. After failing only a couple weeks ago, I did not let that knock my confidence as I knew learning with Tom that I felt completely ready. He also managed to grab me another test within 2 weeks! Best instructor out there.

Negative experience: I found Tom rude, dismissive and unhelpful, bringing his personal problems to work and complaining about other customers. Not the right attitude to encourage learners.
