Negative experience: I wouldn’t normally leave a review on behalf of someone else, but after seeing my partner come home in tears, dreading the thought of returning for her next lesson, I feel it’s important to share this for future learners. On her first day, she felt welcomed and at ease, which gave her confidence going forward. However, the next day was a completely different experience. Chris, the instructor, made comments that were not only unprofessional but outright unacceptable. He told her she needed to "get her head checked," called her "absolutely ridiculous," and even said she was "so stupid." This was in response to minor errors—mistakes that any learner could make. No one should be spoken to like this, especially in a learning environment where patience and encouragement should be the priority. In my opinion, this is no way to treat a student, and I would strongly advise others to consider this before booking.

Fantastic experience: Chris creates a really comfortable and effective learning environment, Personally im nervous when being examined but Chris was aware of this and helped me gain confidence in my driving. Really amazing teaching techniques, Instructors are experienced and willing to help a lot. Definitely recommend.

Positive experience: Chris is a very experienced driving instructor. He is calm, collected and very sensible. Chris is very good at explaining things and he is encouraging. I do however think he can be very critical. If you are a nervous/anxious person, I would suggest telling him but he will work around that and aid you in the best way. Although he is critical, he is extremely experienced and good at his job. It is also such a cheap instructor. £845 for 2 days training and the 3rd day having a test is perfect especially for anyone in a rush to get the C1 license. He is good. Overall 4 stars, only one knocked off for his mannerisms. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing few days training with Chris at Kent and Medway LGV Training. He booked me in with just one weeks notice, was patient and knew exactly how to support me, we even had a few laughs along the way! I passed both practical tests first time and owe it all to him. Can't recommend him enough! Chris only deals with C1 training meaning he is ideal for ambulance crew with looming deadlines as he has greater availability and understands the time commitments. The majority of his customers are student paramedics or ambulance crew. I'm so grateful, thanks again Chris!

Fantastic experience: Would 100% recommend Chris if you are needing a C1 entitlement. He was extremely helpful and the process of booking was very smooth. The vehicle used was an automatic which was very easy to get to grips with, but also gives you a manual entitlement. The whole process was very smooth and enjoyable at the same time and very reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend Chris!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Chris for getting me my C1 license! Chris was great at his advice and training to perfect my driving. It was super easy to book as I was able to complete my theory at my own pace and get in contact when I was ready for my practical. Chris sent loads of helpful information over before I started my practical training so I was aware what to expect. I was able to do my training and test in chris’ nearly new iveco automatic van which made things a lot easier and I felt more comfortable ( which also means now I can drive manual or auto c1 vehicles now ). Would 10/10 recommend, he made the experience super easy and less stressful compared to agencies. I intially rang around for quotes and found agencies hard to work with as they were not transparent with fees and I couldn’t see how their increased cost reflected with service. With Chris he was straight up with the fee of £845 which is a cheaper and he helped me through the practical process! Thank you so much

He knows his stuff when it comes to LGV driving and he offers the perfect training, especially if you need to get your C1 quickly! Fantastic experience: Chris the trainer is a really professional instructor, he makes you feel at ease straight away considering how nerve racking this can be. He was professional at all times, extremely knowledgeable and I wouldn’t have been able to have passed this without him. Would recommend to anyone looking to take the c1 training.

Fantastic experience: I learnt to drive with Chris a few years ago (back when I was still very young..!). He was very straightforward and could easily see what my weaknesses were in terms of driving, and in an indirect way, taught me a bit about life as a whole as well. 5/5!

Fantastic experience: I urgently needed my C1 category for work and I couldn’t of asked for a better instructor then Chris to get it for me. Chris charges an incredibly decent rate for 2 full days training (mine was 9am-3pm) as well as the test on the 3rd day. Having such a decent amount of time allowed me to try and polish up what I needed to for the test day. Chris provides honest constructive feedback and I felt completely calm and focussed throughout. He tells you how it is! I would highly recommend KMLGV to anyone who wants to get full constructive feedback and to get their value for money. Thanks again to Chris for finally getting me the result I wanted!

Fantastic experience: I started my C1 lessons with Chris on Monday (14/01/19), and I could not have had a better instructor. He was so keen for me to feel confident and comfortable, as I'd not driven anything larger than a Ford fiesta! I really enjoyed his teaching techniques, I found that with every fault, he gave good positive feedback which boosted my confidence. It wasnt just his prices that attracted someone like myself (a student and only in a part time job), but also that he offers to complete your C1 with the smallest accepted vehicle for this category, especially as I am going into the ambulance service I will not be driving anything larger than the Ford transit. I passed my C1 first time on Wednesday and have now recommended him to my friends and family, thank you so much Chris for everything!

Fantastic experience: I passed my C1 practical driving test yesterday. Chris was brilliant, he was very accommodating and squeezed me in at such short notice which was fab. Chris noticed straight away on my first day that I was very nervous about the size of the vehicle and put me at ease by talking through all my concerns and making me realise that what I was worried about were all things that I need not be. Chris was very calm in his instruction whilst I was learning and not only got me through the test but has generally made me a better driver by reviewing good driver skills with me. I can't thank Chris enough.

Negative experience: I passed with Chris a little while ago now, however if you are considering using him as your C1 instructor BEWARE he probably will get you through, but do not expect much else. He aggressive and very abrasive. I found him extremely rude. When giving me instructions he would bark them at me and when I was to do them wrong he would really lose his temper. ‘Why are you doing that’ ‘stupid’ ‘if you’re not going to do what I say, get out the van’. Once when he was Sternly telling me off I was looking out at road and he told me that I must look at him when he is talking to me. Overall, he was just not very professional and had awful people skills. It was a real shame considering the course was £750! So much money to spend to be spoken to so incredibly rude.
