Fantastic experience: I started my My journey to become a Class 2 HGV Driver on Monday the 18th of March 2024. I Contacted College HGV Training School The process from the initial phone call to the start of my training has Been fantastic. When I started driving on Monday I was so nervous and didn't think I had it in me to pass the test. Colin my instructor was great from the start the level of knowledge this man has is amazing. I had Doubts about passing all week and Colin put my mind at rest I passed today with 2 minor driving faults. The training and encouragement Is 2nd to none such a great training school 100% Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my HGV Class 1 training and obtained my licence with Colin as my instructor. His expertise and guidance were exceptional, making the learning process smooth and effective. His patience, comprehensive knowledge and years of experience as an instructor, for both cars and lorries, were no doubt a cornerstone for my progression as a driver of car to artic and my seamlessly easy pass. I recommend him highly for anyone pursuing a driving license, be that for car or artic. Was very encouraging and gave constructive feedback as well as tailoring the lessons to my style of learning turning what could have been a challenging experience into a motivating and rewarding journey. Exceptionally patient and his knowledge, intricacies and dedication to teaching was always evident from our first interaction and was paramount to me obtaining my licence. Trina deserves equal praise. Very welcoming and professional from our first communication to our last. Always approachable and organised, she efficiently handled administrative matters, creating a hassle-free environment. Her professionalism contributed significantly to the overall efficiency and pleasant atmosphere of the training center. Together, Colin and Trina form an unbeatable team, I can confidently say they have earned a well-deserved and resounding 5-star rating and I would recommend this school to anyone. Their brilliant and professional approach truly leads the field.

Fantastic experience: First of all I’d like to say a big thankyou To Trina and Colin at COLLEGE driving school (HGV) for making me feel welcome. I had a 6 day course of driving a Hgv. I came from driving an automatic vehicle, my instructor Colin was amazing, so patient and understanding. I passed 1st time with only 3 minors. None of this would have been possible without you both. If you’re looking to get your class 1 or 2 licenses I really recommend these guys based in south Ockendon. Again Thankyou for all your support Jake.

Fantastic experience: I went from a car license straight in to my class 1 c+e . I was recommended by a family to use college and I’m so happy I did . The support from Trina and the knowledge of Mike and my instructor Colin was second to none . If you can’t pass with these guys then you won’t pass anywhere . Very accommodating and professional throughout . I would and will recommend them forever more . Hoping to book my ADR with them once I have some experience under my belt . Thank you all for making a dream of mine a reality .

Fantastic experience: Could not ask for a better place to have done my trailer training. Trina and Colin were exceptional and went above and beyond. I passed first time with flying colours so I think that also speaks volumes of the high level of training you receive at College. Fantastic experience: Nothing but praise for Colin and Trina. Just passed Class C first time after 3 days training with no previous experience. Positive experience: Booked my Class 1 for end of October, they were very catering for the days I needed around work and school run instructors are very experienced, however as I was booking this as a change from 11 years on buses but managed to secure a class 2 job, I requested to cancel more than 14 days in advance, they said they may have to keep the test fee from my £235 deposit which was fair enough and maybe an admin charge and they would refund the rest, I had no problem with this as they have been very helpful up to that point. I emailed them a week ago asking how much they would need to keep and so far no response, I've sent a follow up today. Update: Refund issued, all sorted

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Trina & her team 2 of our drivers from South Park Removals have passed their HGV first time after only 4 days training. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of doing their HGV training

Negative experience: Not the best school to train with due to old trucks they use and the fact they only have manual trucks for the class 2 and the brakes on the truck I had whilst training were very soft causing you either brake to late or brake to harshly.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructors who really know how to make you feel comfortable. Had an amazing experience from start to finish and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Just passed my class 2 with them on the 1st try. Going to go back to them very shortly for my class 1.
