Fantastic experience: The instructors Pete and Toby showed great patience, knowledge, and skills, which made learning a pleasure. I passed my HGV C+E on my first attempt. Fantastic experience: Can't fault the few days I have had with Robinson's this week, real class act. Passing my Cat C in only a couple of days! Big shout out to Martin my instructor can't fault him, keeping it stress free and giving me the confidence to pass even with the jokes. Fantastic experience: I am very pleased to share that I have passed my Class 2 practical driving test (first time at that!) Upon meeting Alex my driving instructor, I was very impressed by his calm and positive demeanour. In the beginning, I was very uncertain about my driving ability but Alex gave a few words of encouragement that ignited in me the power to go on and jump the final hurdle. Everything that Alex taught me in my lessons, I applied so I just want to say thank you so much. I would definitely recommend Robinsons training services to anyone. Fantastic experience: I just passed my class 2 license with 1 minor fault last month, Robinson is a really good and professional training school, I really thank you my instructor Martin, he is the most wonderful teacher, he will find out you problems and try to help you out with it. Everyday after the driving lesson, he will discuss the things you do good and the problems, he will care you feeling and can you understand the things, just like a father.

My instructor was Dave and I honestly cant thank him enough, absolutely fantastic bloke and a top notch instructor. I was extremely nervous throughout the whole process and he quashed all those feelings of anxiousness every single day within minutes of being in the lorry with him. Great instruction, banter conversations and overall experience. Very knowledgeable man. Would highly recommend for your HGV/LGV training.

Fantastic experience: Booked a 2 week course, I had the drill Sargent Dave first week, and Corporal Alex the second week. With nearly 60 years experience between them they managed to get me though my test 1st time. Amazing instructors and really really no there stuff. Thanks guys

Fantastic experience: I just passed my class 2 test. Alex Watson was my instructor, and he is the best. I had trained with 3 other instructors before with different companies, but none were better than him, and I failed my test multiple times. Alex caught early on what I was doing and not doing, which helped me fix the mistakes I was making and finally pass a test. Thank you, Alex.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely well impressed with these guys at the Queenborough site, purely professional throughout, will drum it into your head that we are the professional drivers on the road and safety at all times is key. Dave, I would like to thank you personally for teaching me for the whole week, with your absolute professionalism and driving skills. Unfortunately 30 mins before my driving test Dave had the call it was cancelled and he and I were gutted, so I couldn’t end the year on a high as I felt confident to pass. I did come back on the 11th January for my test and had Alex for the refresher tuition in the morning, to which he was also fantastic at just letting me drive and guiding me with any last minute faults that needed correcting. I don’t think I had any though and managed to pass with only 1 minor. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering taking there driving skills to another level with HGV and give these guys your time as you would not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Truly a Wonderful experience, although It was intense, thanks to these guys who are truly professionals in every aspect, I passed here after 8 days started with Martin thought me how to drive the C Cat, Chris was also really helpful and showed his knowledge and support in ways that I never thought is possible!, truly a proper lad (top bloke!) Special thanks to Lucian who prepared me for the test for C+E, it was a truly great experience it changed me in terms of how I do things and how I drive thanks to Lucian once again for the continuous effort and patience, and confidence shown at all times these guys will be like your best friend but also, train you in the best and most efficient ways, I believe there isn’t a better driving school for this category, when it comes to preparation and professionalism. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Super professionals, on point and very serious about professional driving! This kind of driving is next level,therefore it must be treated super super serious! I’ve been driving since 1998 and I’ve had my share of bad experiences and I probably clocked over a million miles so far but this kind of driving makes all that to look like a play! I cannot express enough in words how important is this training and Robinson instructors and the office personnel are the ones to provide it in a correct and detailed manner and they have a lot of patience which makes everyone to feel at ease yet engaging with the training! Fantastic experience: Wow what a company. Passed my practical test for LGV even with going through a 7 year break up 2 weeks before my test. My trainer Alex was not only a trainer but my personal counsellor too. I owe him so much it’s unreal. Alex deserves a medal for his unbelievable cool, calm, collective but most of all confident approach to life and he’s work ethic. Dave is very helpful and a right laugh whilst driving around, for those that are nervous at first he puts your mind at ease and gives you pointers and guidance in a chilled out manner, once the nerves have settled ends up talking as a friend and genuinely cares that you pass your final test day. Also the girls in the office for helping me out with replacement dates when my original test date got cancelled, I intend to come back to Robinsons for other courses and training in the future including HIAB and hopefully in the not too distant future my C+E artic then ADR certificate possibly.

My instructor Martin, hats off to him, is very direct and will direct you not only to pass your test but be ready for what is to come after. However, passing your test is paramount since without that you can't be an HGV driver. You need a tough skin in this game and Martin will give it to you without holding back. Honestly my experience training with Robinson has been a very important and understanding journey. The manner in which they teach you and how they teach you really helps you to understand what it takes to become a HGV driver. I would also like to mention a shout-out to my trainer Martin who is a huge hammers fan! anyone who has the joy of being trained by him I can assure you by the 4th day of you're training you will be confident and ready for that test. Instructive, encouraging and understanding which had me at ease from day 1 I also visited the Purfleet operation for a reversing test and found the environment there to be exactly the same with the staff, including the office staff, as it was at Sheerness You won't find a better company and environment to train with PS I'd have said the same if I'd failed

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Robinson at Purleet last week with my trainer Lucian. Went from a Class 2 to Class 1 (C+E) driver in a week training. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or instructor. Lucian was patient & knowledgeable he was always understanding and gave me plenty of encouragement. My confidence grew everyday thanks to Lucian, especially when i was trying to get into reversing mode hahah 1 to the right, 2 to the left and 1 to the right hahahah I’ll never forget that! I have road experience and driving a class 2 but the artics (c+e) are a different animal. I’m hoping soon to book again with Robinson for my ADR & HIAB courses.

Fantastic experience: One of the nicest group of trainers and lorry drivers, and I had booked my training through another company, and when it come to the driving side, they sent me to Robinsons and the experience was absolutely amazing, down-to-earth and extremely easy to get on with the instructors were very informative and as long as you listen to them and do what they’re asking you will easily pass your test I spent the whole week with these guys driving and they put me at ease, I went in as a car driver on Monday and come out as a professional lorry driver on the Friday absolutely phenomenal experience and I will be going back to do my class one. also the site at Purfleet, where the training goes from good facilities. Everyone was extremely welcoming. I would recommend if you do your theory and hazard perception, separately and book directly with these guys. I can’t thank them enough and look forward to going back to do my next part of my HGV later on in the year. After I get a little bit more experience on the open road thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: Just finished 8 days combination course. It was two stressful weeks, but thanks to professional instructors I went through this cours with a smile on my face and passed on the first attempt. Many thanks to Dave for the Cat C knowledge I gained and to Chris for passing on the Cat C+E skills to me. They are both great instructors and I wish everyone to find people like them. I recommend Robinson, they are worth every penny!
