Express Driver Training

Negative experience: I did nearly 20 hours with one instructor who was overly nice however, would stretch out teaching something for e.g right turns just so he could make more money. I did a lot of lessons but I had only started one manoeuvre which was the parallel park, never been on test routes & did big roundabouts once. Your duty as an instructor is to pass your students & with this instructor I didn’t feel confident because the pace of teaching was so slow & poorly explained. I only learnt of such important concepts in driving off social media & through asking friends which is disappointing despite having a substantial amount of lessons. This instructor then stopped teaching & as a result I had no instructor for 2 months. My second instructor was continuously late & blamed temporary traffic making them late. While this may be true I believe you should plan ahead if you know theres a possibility of this which they did know of since it happened often however, they didn't take any measures to avoid being late. Despite this I had also come late for a lesson due to my late bus but my instructor only waited 10 minutes & sent a message saying I would still be charged for the lesson. While this is company’s policy I believe that since they had been late by hours multiple times I would be exempted however this wasn’t the case. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone I urge you to choose another more competent company. I’m replying to Lindas response I didn’t want to make matters bigger so i’ve made an anonymous review, I’m just writing this review so other people don’t make the mistake I did & chose a better company

Negative experience: Literally a scam, waited 2 months and I have not been given a single driving lesson. Wanted a refund and they only gave me back 40% of the money I paid for. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, they will keep you waiting for months and months.

Fantastic experience: Felicity was great, always turned up on time and helped me pass my test with 1 minor. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Felicity is absolutely fantastic!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Absolutely perfect for nervous drivers/people with anxiety. She takes the time to learn who you are as a person and how you learn and adapts the lessons to suit. As an older driver learning it was hard to gain the confidence in myself but Felicity went out of her way to help build my confidence in every way. Felicity is friendly, kind and every lesson I finished feeling like i had got as much as I could out of it, nothing is too much trouble and she pushes you enough to get out of your comfort zone to progress but not so much it's overwhelming. I literally cannot praise and thank her enough for everything. X

Fantastic experience: I've been a driving instructor for the past 20 years and I'm a Grade A Driving Instructor.. I Came to see Linda Edwards after reading about her.. What an inspirational Woman and professional she is . Linda is a ordit instructor trainer as well as a driving instructor. What dedication commitment and knowledge this lovely Lady as .. I thought I had nothing more to learn in my profession, " HOW WRONG was l ".. I've learnt so much today on my Continuous professional development ...

Negative experience: My daughter has had quite a few lessons with these guys until recently when she drove over a plastic bottle and was told if she had ruined the wheel she would be paying for it ,not surprisingly she received a message the day after saying she'd be charged £30 towards a new tyre as she didn't follow his exact instructions. A friend of mine is a driving tester and he says this is quite immoral and there is nothing in their terms and conditions to state that she needs to pay my daughter payed as was worried about it and her test is soon .I find it disgusting that when you are learning you can be charged for such a thing

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, did my lessons with Emma Dawson and passed my test first time!! Super friendly, always punctual and gave me so much confidence in myself. Couldn't recommend her enough ❤️

Negative experience: Emma Dawson - Would not recommend . She taught my Daughter a couple of time . Always cancelling lessons at the last minute : never turning up Shame as she is very friendly.

Negative experience: Did around 20 1 hour lessons and 15 2 hour lessons with Emma Dawson. On the last driving lesson I was book in for she did not turn up and the text messages I sent were ignored. Waste of my time and money! Luckily it didn’t take me long to find a new, reliable instructor definitely Wouldn’t recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with just one minor thanks to Linda Edwards. Linda is a wonderful instructor who will get you more than ready for your test. She covers all bases and makes sure every aspect of your driving is as close to perfect as possible, in a calm and friendly manner. Her lessons will teach you to be a good driver not only for the test, but beyond. Highly recommend Linda and Express Driver Training to anyone looking to pass quickly and confidently!!

Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons with Emma and with her expert tuition managed to pass first time in spite of two lockdowns. She totally prepared me for my test and helped me be confident driving on the roads in any situation. The teaching was excellent. I highly recommend express driver training to anyone looking for lessons.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't have asked for a better experience of learning to drive. Linda was patient and supportive, giving me the best exposure to as many scenarios and driving conditions as possible. She is incredibly professional and the changes she's made due to covid put me at ease. Thanks so much again!

Negative experience: Failed to turn up on lesson day also instructor lies about making phone calls avoid this school you will only get disappointment from instructors who waist your time
