Fantastic experience: I had my first lesson with Ben on my 17th birthday, Ben is very easy to talk to very patient and if i was struggling to understand something he would draw it out for me and explain as many times as i needed him to. Ben has always been reassuring which has led to today I passed my driving test first time with 2 minors i didn’t feel as nervous as i thought i would and that was all down to ben, Thank you so much !!

Negative experience: Unprofessional driving instructors who have self employed drivers who just disappear after many lessons like Clayton. I would also avoid the old man John he’s vulgar and had no knowledge he just passed his test 40 years ago and thinks he can drive, dvla needs to make these old timers retake the tests

As we’ve discussed before, the decision not to continue lessons with you was made due to the threatening behaviour you directed at one of our instructors. This is something neither we nor the DVSA will tolerate under any circumstances.

Creating a new account in order to leave further negative reviews—rather than using your own name—suggests you’re aware that your actions do not reflect well on you. We’re proud of our work, our values, and the thousands of learners who’ve had a positive experience with us.

As the owner of Able2Drive, I take all feedback seriously—positive or negative—and always aim to respond with professionalism and respect. However, I also believe it’s important to be direct when boundaries are crossed.

Clayton has not worked for us in some time, so any comments relating to him are no longer relevant to our team. More concerning are the personal and unfounded attacks you’ve made against Jon—publicly questioning his age, professionalism, and character. These claims are entirely false and appear intended solely to discredit him.

Jon is a fully qualified, DVSA-approved instructor with over 40 years of experience and a proven track record of helping thousands of learners succeed. I will not stand by while anyone attempts to undermine his work through slander or intimidation.

I hope you’ve since found an instructor better suited to your needs.

Fantastic experience: Passed first time thanks to Ben! He was super patient, calm and supportive throughout each lesson. Everything was always explained clearly and never rushed, which really helped build my confidence. I would definitely recommend to anyone learning to drive!
