Fantastic experience: Being a foreigner driver, I found it challenging to get used to driving in the UK. Alan, gave me the push I needed and with his guidance I passed my test at the first try. Before working with Alan, I called other schools and most of them were reluctant to give lessons to someone who knew how to drive. At our first phone call, he explained me how he works, and gave me a plan. It all worked out well.

Fantastic experience: Although I had a licence, I hadn't driven in the UK for many years. I was nervous about driving again and especially about driving on the left. Alan had such a calm and encouraging demeanour. Immediately, I felt comfortable and less nervous. After only 3 lessons, I was able to buy a car and start driving. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I didn't actually get to take a lesson with Alan (long story, but my fault not his). However, his email replies to me were prompt, courteous and helpful, in contrast to several other driving instructors who ignored me entirely. So for that reason alone, I feel he deserves a 5-star review.

Negative experience: I rang up and politely made an enquiry due to circumstances that were beyond my control and he was extremely rude.

Fantastic experience: After failing two driving tests in manual cars I was apprehensive about changing to automatic and having a new instructor... But I cannot recommend Alan from Skills4Wheels enough, he was absolutely fantastic. I passed my first test in an automatic with just one minor which was a huge improvement for me and I'm now driving to and from work everyday with no issues. He is patient, reliable and above all keeps things relevant; no idle chatting or useless information to distract or bamboozle. I just wish I'd discovered him sooner!

Negative experience: Terrible driving school and a horrible person. Do not use this Alan!

Negative experience: I have had a very horrible experience with Alan from Skills 4 Wheels Would strongly advise that you don't use him. He would drop me home 10 or 15 minutes early and still charge me for the hour lesson. He was very rude and sent me horrible messages as you will see from the photo's. This was only because i asked to move a few lessons due to my mother being ill and because off my own illness. His prices are cheap which is why i went with him but i would rather pay more for a better service and quality standard of teaching.
