Fantastic experience: I passed the test with two minors, thanks to Royal driving Academy. Many thanks to Javid for being an excellent driving instructor. He trained me systematically; focused on my weaknesses and encouraged me to work on them. I highly recommend the trainer and the academy.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test after taking 7 classes. The staff was very professional especially Mr Nazar. I am very thankful to Mr Nazar who was my instructor.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Javid who was very patient throughout the lessons. To make this a fair review I will mention both the pros and cons of learning to drive with him based on my experience. Positive side, nicely pulls over and explains how to approach different situations like roundabouts and junctions. He is also conversant and learners can enjoy the lesson talking about different topics. Javid is also very flexible with timings and tries to accommodate according to your work. He also makes you familiar with where test is which I found really helpful. Negative side, I have explained to Javid that he only focuses on mistakes that the learner does. While this is good for the sake of learning, it is not the best approach for constructive feedback. Focusing on both the negative and positive sides of new learners’ behaviour on the road is critical. Overall, I enjoyed the lessons and would like to thank Javid for his continued support on helping getting my driving license on my first attempt. Very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Passed on first attempt in early dark hours and foggy weather conditions. Only took a handful of months to pass from no experience, have to give credit to my instructor Javid Rahimi for his teaching techniques for that. But yeah, I'm happy with my choice with going with this driving school and instructor

Fantastic experience: Javid was the best instructor and i passed first time. He catered his teaching to my level, being an experienced driver i needed to break some bad habits and get used to the UK road rules and he helped me perfectly. He is also very calm and explains whenever I make a mistake and he appreciates good performance as well. He will take you all across Cambridge so the driving test will not be a surprise to you. Fantastic experience: This academy provides instruction for manual driving, The instructor is fantastic. He is incredibly patient and understanding. He works closely with the student to help them identify and improve mistakes. He makes sure that the student is comfortable with all aspects of driving and provides useful feedback. Towards the final lessons he will take you on common test routes and strengthen any weaknesses. In summary, this is an academy that will make you a proficient, confident and safe driver. Several months on, I am grateful for all the areas we worked on and it has meant I’m confident on my long commutes. Highly recommend for any driver of any capability, looking to pass the practical driving test.

Fantastic experience: Javid is a patient instructor who has helped me to be a safe driver. I was very nervous when starting to do lessons but I quickly became much more confident. Javid made sure to let me know any areas for improvement which allowed me to pass my test with only 2 minors.

Fantastic experience: Javid is a great instructor in large part because he tailored his instruction to my needs which, as an experienced driver of 33 years, from the US, was more about helping me understand how to pass the test and break bad habits. He did not push me to take a certain number of lessons or force me to start from the beginning as other instructors had insisted. He was patient and knows exactly what is required to pass the test. I would recommend especially to those who are experienced drivers, but have yet to pass the UK test.

Negative experience: Driving over the 70mph speed limit this morning on the A14 is not a good advert for the company. You are meant to set an example !

Fantastic experience: I passed my practical driving test this week. My driving instructor, Mr Javid, is an excellent driving instructor. He would point out each possible hazard during your courses and discuss with you to make sure you understand how to behave properly on the road. Besides, driving with him on the road can never be boring lol. Also, considering the rising cost of petrol these years, they are still offering a decent price on manual driving lessons and no extra charges for actual test hours. I would highly recommend consulting with royal driving academy whichever levels of learner you are. Hope you all pass your coming test!

Fantastic experience: I did >20 hours driving with Javid - he is an amazing driving instructor. Within the first 30 minutes of driving with him, as a very inexperienced driver myself, I was instantly at ease. He sets clear goals based on your goals and expectations. Is very patient and calm. Clear communicator with respect to feedback and instructions whilst driving and for planning lessons. He always gives praise and positive feedback, and gives clear constructive feedback and encourages you to reflect on your own practice and identify any mistakes you have made, before prompting you to them. He always goes above and beyond as an instructor and is very dedicated to his students with his kind and generous spirit. I unreservedly recommend him as a driving instructor to both new and experienced drivers.

Fantastic experience: He was so patient and really pushed me to be the best driver. He allowed me to learn at my pace without hurrying me along or extending any lessons for no reason. Passed on my first time and I don’t think that would’ve happened with any other instructor!

Fantastic experience: Javid is a very a good and patient instructor. A friend recommended him to me after i had failed my test twice. Within 2 sessions he'd already pointed out a host of issues in my driving and helped me work on them. He's not afraid to let students drive through the busier parts of town and that gives students a lot of confidence and training for real-life driving. Fantastic experience: We trained with Javid for about 14 classes, both my wife and myself and we passed our test in the first attempt. He is friendly is nature and a good person. Driving for newbies can be nerve wrecking but Javid ensures you are kept calm and makes the experience more enjoyable. Javid prioritises what's important and manages to targets one's areas needing improvement so that you are completely prepared for your final test. Open to answer any questions and flexible to take classes around your schedule which was highly needed with us. Highly recommended for sure!

Fantastic experience: I just want to give an amazing review for Royal Driving Academy, specifically the instructor Javid Rahimi. He went above and beyond the call of duty and turned up with very short notice for my test and with his help I passed! I would recommend for everyone!

Negative experience: Impatient and aggressive teacher. I ended up in tears in my lesson and explained that his method of explaining was not clear or to my nerves (I had a call with the instructor prior to this to explain I was a nervous driver). He refused to understand and told me that this was his way of teaching with everyone - but you shouldn’t feel like your instructor is barking at you or shouting “Jesus Christ” during the lesson when you do something wrong (bearing in mind I’ve only ever had a handful of lessons). During my second lesson he asked me if I had considered looking into automatic lessons instead. You should not be made to feel like this during a driving lesson and the instructor should have been clearer upfront that he can’t accommodate nervous drivers. It got so bad that I ended up walking out of his car after an hour and a bit as I was so upset from his lack of understanding and method. My confidence has completely gone in driving and I will never be back here and will be imminently looking for someone else in the area.
