Fantastic experience: I had lessons on and off for what seemed like forever. Due to Covid , moving house and not finding the right driving instructor after the move…. This all changed for me when I started my lessons with Simon. He put me at ease straightaway, helped me understand things better and just genuinely made me smile. I passed today and it’s really a new chapter for me. I couldn’t have done it without Simon’s help. 10/10 would highly recommend!:)

Fantastic experience: Simon is an extremely friendly guy who instantly puts you at ease. He represents a great balance between being a chilled out guy whilst also passing across his extensive knowledge and insight in to how to pass the test. Despite my lack of confidence he successfully persuaded not to move by test back and to just go for it resulting in me passing on my first attempt.

Fantastic experience: I found Simon to be a great Driving instructor. Lessons were always really enjoyable and there was always plenty of banter to keep things relaxed, even on a bad day. Fantastic experience: If you want a driving instructor, you can't get better than Simon. He is fantastic at teaching you to drive, patiently and clearly explaining the different aspects of driving, whilst also making the lessons enjoyable and fun. You can guarantee to have a laugh whilst learning which makes it that much more enjoyable, especially if you are nervous. He even doesn't cancel lessons if it's raining, bonus! Simon helped me pass first time by giving me the confidence, ability and knowledge to go into my test with little anxiety. I've really enjoyed my lessons over the past few months, thank you for all the help!

Fantastic experience: Simon is simply an incredible instructor. As a neurodiverse individual with anxiety I never thought I would be able to pass my test let alone on the 1st attempt. However Simon was patient, understanding and clear in his instructions. He also made every lesson fun and made me enjoy driving which really helped me to become a better driver. He took the time to understand what I needed as an individual and adapted his teaching to suit. I would 10/10 recommended him to anyone looking to learn.

I was feeling a bit nervous getting back to driving after failing my first test attempt, but starting lessons with Simon after this was the best thing I could've done! Fantastic experience: Don’t bother looking anywhere else, no one could possibly be better than Simon! I had been an anxious driver who dreaded driving, but Simon has entirely changed my mindset and made me enjoy it so much. Passing my test on the first attempt was a breeze. An absolute laugh to drive with, and he is exceedingly patient and level-headed, which makes challenging situations much more tolerable. All thanks to Simon, I gained so much confidence on the road. Negative experience: Total let down. After my son failed his first test he was told that the instructor was moving away but would make sure that he would get all his current drivers through thier tests. Well we never see him again just full of excuses for 2 months. Thankfully we found another a decent instructor that got my son his licence.

From my first lesson, he completely put me at ease. I passed my theory and practical tests first time and no doubt this is due to the patience, belief and guidance Simon gave me! I passed my test first time in with only 2 minors, around the two lockdowns that we had and I would put all this to Simons teaching. I couldn’t even dream about more patient, calm, knowledgeable and ready to explain anything for many times instructor. Even after a few months of the self-driving I still hear his supportive voice in my head, saying “good stuff!”

Negative experience: Used SkillsOnWheels for my daughter. The instructor would repeatedly cancel on her and make no effort to make up time. She learnt nothing with him and was very disappointed with the service
