You explained all the rules, road markings, round about exits and ‘show and tell’ questions thoroughly , which gave me the confidence to succeed in the test. Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test first attempt today. My instructor was Wael Shahin. He’s been a great teacher in the short 5 months I’ve been with him. He’s been very patient with me and wanted to put me in the best position to pass first time. He’s been very reliable and trying to accommodate my skill and potential . He made me I feel like I’ve been working with a friend or a teammate. I recommend Wael and Drive Johnson to anyone wanting to learn to drive because of their friendliness and professionalism

Negative experience: Don't waste your time and money with Instructor Amina. She cancels lessons whenever she likes, lies, and sometimes doesn't even show up on time. On top of that, she charges more than anyone else. She has no proper lesson plan, keeps showing you the same roundabout, and forgets what she covered in the previous lesson due to how often she cancels. You could end up doing only 10 hours of lessons over seven months—that’s exactly what happened to me.

Fantastic experience: Passed today on my first attempt with only 1 minor. The whole experience has been so comfortable and my instructor Wael Shahin has taught me fantastically and is a great character. His methods of teaching and attitude are spot on with my examinator giving me praise for my driving. I would highly recommend anyone looking to learn how to drive to chose Drive Johnson’s as they are a fantastic service.

Fantastic experience: I've been with DriveJohnsons since August with a weekly driving lesson and I've just passed my driving test first attempt. My instructor was Wael Shahin. He's been a great instructor that's been patient and kind with me, he has all the knowledge required and is able to pass it on well to his students. Fantastic experience: Passed first time with many thanks to Shaun, who was very calm and patient. Even though I had some private driving practice with my family, Shaun was able to identify the areas I needed to improve on. He taught me everything I needed to know about roundabouts, making sure I felt confident and prepared. I truly appreciate his guidance and support throughout my lessons.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time with only 2 minor faults with the help of my instructor Wael Shahin. I have spent many an hours with Wael carefully instructing me in the ways of the road and my responsibilities as a driver on the road. Wael was very professional, considerate and polite with me. He identified my faults so correctly that I was able to ace the exam in a very short period with just two minors, on the first attempt. Fantastic experience: I’m so happy to pass my test first time today with only 1 minor fault! I had great feedback from the examiner at the end of the test on my performance and said that I done very well, driving to an high standard and credit to my driving instructor Wael Shahin. Honestly I agreed it has been great, Wael had worked very hard with me, to get me up to this standard, great at taking on feedback and making it easy to learn with my style. I learnt the test routes and was very confident! I am very happy to have spent my time Wael as much as I’m happy to pass my test, it was a fun experience. I definitely can’t recommend Wael enough, his teaching style with repetition, examples with diagrams, and going into real detail in a lot of ways to make the content understandable, especially on manuevers!

Fantastic experience: I passed the exam with zero faults today. I feel so grateful for everything I’ve learned in all these lessons with instructor Wael Shahin. He had a lot of patience with me, and his teaching method is simple, but very effective. I felt very comfortable with him, didn’t feel any pressure and after few lesson he knew already how to teach me to remember everything and learn quicker. I can’t recommend enough!!!!!!

Positive experience: All thanks to Ghaza, I managed to pass my test first time with no faults. He helped me so much in terms of confidence building and roundabout discipline. He’s generally just a very nice person and easy to talk to. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with another instructor called Magdalena, who in all honesty had a bad attitude, contrastingly Ghaza was very reassuring and taught me valuable techniques and skills which the other didn’t. Can’t give this man enough credit, over the moon I passed.

Fantastic experience: Just passed first time (with only 1 minor) all thanks to the best instructor Wael Shahin who’s been really helpful and really patient with me to reach my goal. The feedback from the examiner was that I’ve been taught to the highest standard, couldn’t have done it without his determination to help me to reach test standard in such a short period of time

Positive experience: I’ve had 3 different instructors under drivejohnson with vastly different teaching approaches.. I had one bloke Tony, who in all honestly, did not care about teaching me properly. He didn’t let me work out how to read road signs/markings, and not teaching me to break or clutch effectively. Also constant toilet breaks during lesson times. Would shout at me for making mistakes. Pushed me to take my first test and I failed leaving the test centre. Then I had a woman I can’t remember her name but she was really strict and I felt like I was progressing at a snail pace. One whole lesson was her telling me me how she wanted me to steer. She could also only fit me in every Wednesday at a certain time, which didn’t work around my working hours. Then 3rd time the charm I had Lee Parmenter who was absolutely fantastic, he was so easy to talk to and laugh with, felt like an old friend and I was really comfortable driving with him, he was also very patient with me and helped build my confidence. We covered everything and by my third attempt I passed with only 2 little minors. If you’re going with this driving school, I would ask for him always! There’s a reason he has a busy diary (but he’ll always manage to fit you in around your availability) Thank you again Lee I hope to see you soon :)

Negative experience: I booked an instructor from drive Johnson. During my close to my test, the instructor told me he is not doing anything in Northampton. They said no one is there for help. Even I spoke with agency, they said we can’t help. It’s your fate. And I spoke with my colleague even he said it is what they are doing for long time. Every body is facing the same issue with DJ. I said I going to put this on Google review. They said do what ever you want and we don’t care. It’s too rude and trustworthy during my test period.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Amina! Amina’s calm and patient teaching method enabled me to overcome my nervousness and helped me become confident in my driving which ultimately assisted me in passing my test. I appreciate how Amina simplifies driving in her style of teaching and is straight to the point. I’ve had a great driving experience with Amina and would definitely recommend her!

Positive experience: I've had Wael as my driving instructor for the past 6 lessons and have advanced my driving skills rapidly. He is very good at judging your ability level and working with you to help you move forwards. I feel he will help me to pass my test first try with the lessons I have had previously and the lessons to come.

Fantastic experience: Amina is a great instructor! I suffer from PTSD and it was very difficult for me to be around cars without panicking and I thought I’d never pass. My instructor was very patient with me and helped me overcome my fear. I passed on my third time with 4 minors and now I’m driving with full confidence!

Fantastic experience: Great experience from start to finish. My instructor was very patient and knowledgeable and he had a great sense of humour. This was refreshing compared to my first experience with another well known driving school who I will not name! (Name of a colour) My instructor also moved his schedule around to allow me to squeeze in some final extra lessons just before my test. Passed first time with only 2 minors.

Fantastic experience: My experience with drivejohnsons was excellent from start to finish. I found a good offer on their website, purchased some lessons and received a call from someone at the office who was very helpful and booked me in with an instructor. My lessons with Rob Thomas were very structured and I really progressed quicker than I expected. With many thanks to Rob and everyone at the company I passed my driving test in Northampton with only 1 minor!! I have told all my friends to go with drivejohnson and I recommend the same to you!

Negative experience: driveJohnson Driving instructor just went through a Red traffic light causing me to brake hard. then gave a one fingered salute when i sounded the horn in accordance with Highway code. I would not recommend anyone uses this company as they are a danger to the public.

Negative experience: Please don't go with this driving school, they cheated me. I booked classes with Instructor Chris and paid her for 10 classes, she just attended for only 1 class, after that she didn't turn up. Even after making 30-40 calls/texts unable to reach her. Complained to Drive Johnson but they didn't take any action except replying me email to complain to DVSA. If they can't contact their instructors for last 2 months i wonder how they are running driving school. They simply wasted my money, time.

Fantastic experience: Great driving School, I was really nervous about driving before I started my lessons. My instructor made the whole experience an enjoyable one. 100% I’ll be recommending all my mates. Pass first time, 2 Minors.. Woop Woop.
