Fantastic experience: A massive thankyou to John and his team at Car College for helping me through my driving test. John supported me throughout the duration of my time spent with the Car College and i was able to pass first time. Highly recommend the company for anyone looking to take their test.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my CBT today with Craig.. I was very nervous going in at first but Craig was very professional and put me at ease quicky, as much of a pain as I was he had alot of patience for me. all the staff are lovely and can't recommend the. enough. will be back next year for the big girl test ❤️

Fantastic experience: Actually thought I had left a review about 6 years ago, seems I didn't. Couldn't recommend high enough. I needed my license for a job I was going for at the time. I was in the role temporarily before it was advertised permanent. This was my only issue, so the pressure was on. I honestly was a screw driver, bad, tunnel vision and not taking in my environment. John was able to pin point my faults and used excellent techniques to help me overcome my faults. I passed my driving test, got my license and secured the permanent post. Since then, I've never looked back, been promoted twice in my employment. Couldn't thank John and Car College enough and apologies for the late review.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I have had the worse experience ever dealing with these guys, especially with John who was really unprofessional and rude. He "suggested" to pay extra to get my on-road test done... Never heard anything positive from anyone else but that's just my experience. Stay well away from this place.

Fantastic experience: Booked in, trained, tested and passed within a week! I booked in with John via a recommendation from a friend after a poor experience from a national training provider. I just needed to complete my CPC for my HGV licence and John was brilliant in getting me trained and booked in for the test so quickly. Many thanks John. Kindest Regards David

Negative experience: Really bad experience overall. They run a corrupt business and act like gangsters. Money is all they seek with their 'contacts' at DVA.

Negative experience: I have no experience... I heard from a motorbike training company bout car college having a scooter I could learn to ride on.. When I tried to contact them on their Contact Us section, they never bothers contacting me back to discuss it... Very dissapointed in their lack of professionalism in replying to my many requests to reply to me a let down, considering another training company told me about them... ☹️

Negative experience: Joke. Absolute joke.. 120 I paid for ctb. Now u want 125 for renewal. Cheeky. Don't answer your questions and hangs up on u. Stay clear from here... Update. I've now booked in elsewhere and it's 40 quid cheaper than here for renewal. Trading standards and doe r now inform.. Ull not be robbing anybody.

Fantastic experience: Contacted car college and spoke with Geraldine who was absolutely amazing and put me at ease as I was extremely nervous about even going on a lesson. Geraldine filled me with confidence and passed me over Sean the instructor. Sean was absolutely amazing from the very first lesson and built my confidence to point I actually passed my test in 8 weeks and have a new love for driving which is something I never thought would happen. Would highly highly recommend Car College whether you are nervous or not as they are experts at in setting you up with all the tools you need to be a great driver including confidence. I will always be grateful to Car College and Sean for getting me on the road and giving me that freedom.

Fantastic experience: Even I am a Hungarian and my English is not so good and I am a nervous-type guy, I have passed my practical test at the first time. I am from a completely different country, different language and until I sat next to John in his car, I had never driven before. He has shown me everything step by step, everything from the basics to the different situations and manoeuvres. So if you are looking for the bests, I think John is definitely one of them or the very best. (Last tip from me: Do not need to worry about and being nervous on your test. Begin to learn, practice as much as you can and when you will feel that you are ready, give a try. The test is similar to your usual lessons, just a bit shorter. That is it. Good luck)

Fantastic experience: From the moment I phoned I felt like I was taken care of, withing a day of phoning had my cbt booked for the next day. When I arrived I was greeted welcomed and felt nervous of course however for the two days I spent it was very very fun and enjoyable John being the main reason so, a massive thank you and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Both myself and my wife got taught by John. My wife passed her CBT first due to john's expertise and patience. I am doing my direct access and hope to qualify soon. We were made to feel welcome and relaxed within a few minutes of meeting John. If you want to be taught by a genuine, down to earth, highly skilled instructor, look no further. John has everyhing you need from protective clothing, gloves and helmets and bikes from 125cc to proper big bikes to teach you on. I can't recommend The Car College highly enough. If you are thinking of taking up biking I would encourage you drop in for a chat with John and he will make sure you take the right path into the exciting and rewarding world of motorcycles!!.

Fantastic experience: I recently wanted to get myself a motorbike for my 30th birthday, I didn't realise that I needed all this paper work and shite, Thank god for John and his direct access and easy CBT (Compulsory basic training it is not a test!). Simple course, wee buns very cost effective.

Fantastic experience: After several months of contemplating whether or not to take driving lessons, I noticed an advertisement for "The Car College" being passed around by a few of my mates on Facebook with a special offer of 5 driving lessons for £65. I decided to go for the special offer and what followed was 5 pleasant and enlightening driving lessons. John, the instructor who taught me, exudes an aura of professionalism and confidence that I couldn't help feel the effects of,because of this, what was a very nervous start for me, quickly became a calm and fun learning experience. After only 5 driving lessons with The Car College, I was confident enough to take and pass my driving test. Thanks John! Thanks The Car College!
