Fantastic experience: I had taken driving lessons a few years ago with another instructor which just didn't work out due to my nervousness & lack of confidence. When I contacted David he absolutely put me at ease, built up my confidence & I passed!!!!A true gentleman.

Negative experience: Wanted me to do a lesson every week and become annoyed whenever I told him that I wanted to practice with a family member and go to him every couple weeks. He said that would bring arguments, though im not sure why someone would argue to a man who does this as a career. I told him that he'd always be right obviously, being the instructor, but he wasn't having it. As the £45 was already paid we went out after being told this would be my first and last lesson. On the drive I had asked him about blind spots. He was ignorant and asked what my dad would say every time I asked what 'he' would say - being the man who I paid to tell me how to drive. He didn't tell me whether I was right and I wasn't able to learn much from him. He was on his tablet half the time and It ended with no feedback. Overall, I'm happy it was only one lesson wasted. He was unprofessional and I believe cared more about the money of getting someone to book block lessons than to actually teach someone who waited a month to pay for his service.

Negative experience: It’s been a few years now since I passed my test (after switching instructors) and every so often as i pass David I see the same thing every single time. Him looking down paying more attention to his phone/whatever is on his lap than to the lesson. My Facebook review seems to have gone missing and therefore I feel it’s only right to repost so people looking for a decent instructor can see who to avoid. Also just from reading other reviews I can confidently confirm this is the correct company. “honestly feel like I’ve been scammed after paying for ten lesson would give no stars if I could. Constantly on his phone and not paying attention to the lesson. Learnt absolutely nothing bar that I was “a bad driver”. If i was truly a ‘bad driver’ David surely should be paying for more attention to the road instead of his phone. I had received lessons with a different instructor prior to David. When he went of holiday I was keen to learn Manoeuvers before he got back. Not one manoeuvre was taught throughout the full ten lessons no matter how many times I asked. David was very rude to me and I would 10000% NOT recommend, especially if you actually want to learn how to drive x”

Fantastic experience: David is a brilliant instructor, very patient and thorough which meant I wasn't afraid to ask questions and felt confident going in for my test which I passed first time. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get started.

Fantastic experience: David is an absolutely fantastic driving instructor and I can't recommend him enough to anyone wanting to achieve their dreams of driving and getting that ultimate pass. He is an all round truly decent family man with a wealth of knowledge and expertise on how to help you learn to drive. He is supportive, patient and builds up a great rapport with his pupils. I had tried driving many many years ago and failed disastrously. I only passed due to an excellent instructor who made everything go as smoothly as possible on the day, even with god awful nerves! I honestly never thought I'd get there and astonishingly passed first time with David with very little minors. This isn't just a job to David - he truly cares that pupils do well and will prepare you thoroughly in order to have the best chance of passing your test. Don't waste your time and hard earned money going with anyone else!
