Fantastic experience: I met Bernie after having a terrible driving instructor for 10 months (any bad habits you can think of, I had it). Bernie whipped me into a good, safe driver, I don't know who worked harder between the two of us. That man would not let me quit and believed in my ability even when I didn't believe in myself. I passed on Monday 29th April and I haven't stopped driving since, the freedom is amazing I can't believe how confident I am behind the wheels because Bernie technique of driving is absolutely unique and hands down the best. Fantastic experience: I came to Berine with no experience at all never driven before. The techniques and tips berine has taught me has lead me to pass my test 1st time . I highly recommend Berine he is an excellent driving instructor. Berine is easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and makes the lesson enjoyable and he's got humour. Trust your instructor (berine). Put into action what he has taught you and you'll be fine.

Fantastic experience: Bernie is the bestest of driving instructors! Today I passed my test with no minor faults thanks to his incredible teaching. Not only does he make his lessons fun, but his level of attentiveness and genuine care for his job and his pupils is what really makes the difference! From his drawings of roundabouts and junctions to his memorable rhymes and sayings, he finds a way to make driving feel so much easier, whilst making you laugh along the way. Thank you so much

He pushed me to do more than just driving straight and turning left. Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few driving instructors but Bernie was the best, he genuinely cares about the students and wants them to do the best. He’s very clear and direct, if you listen to him you’ll definitely pass. 10/10 service.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Bernie since last June until I passed the test. I would highly recommend Bernie. I worked with three different instructors, but i found the tips Bernie gave me are most effective. He is also very passionate about seeing you getting the licence. What special is that he is not only "jnstructesd" you in the lesson but also teach you how to make right decisions on your own. His advisesdefinitely can help pass the test and become a safer driver. Lastly, his humour personality make all lessons are very enjoyable. You will have lots laughs from your lessons.

Fantastic experience: I had a driving test booked and so close to the date I had to change instructors. We found Bernie after looking for suitable instructors and honestly I feel that this was the best decision I made. He taught me so much in the little time I had left for my test. For a first time pass I was elated. I honestly believe that if you want a guaranteed pass then Bernie is the one to go to. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: Great instructor, might be on your back a lot but it’s only because he really wants you to pass first time. Passed first time due to his instructions and he always keep a healthy environment in the car.

Positive experience: If you want to past your test, then Bernie is good at doing that. Once you can get hold of him and have a lesson, you're OK. The only downfall is the communication is poor. Sometimes you have to chase him to respond. The customer service needs improving. If you can overlook this, I guess you'll be able to pass your test. This shouldn't be overlooked, as when you're providing a service, customer service is essential. It can come across as he's got a big ego. Just because he's good at teaching doesn't mean you should lack in customer service. Overall he's good at what he does just lacks good communication. Communication is acceptable once you're in the car. You can tell he's a big softy at heart.

Negative experience: I had a negative experience with Bernie. We didn't even get to driving lessons because communicating with him was so difficult. I had to keep sending reminder messages before I could get a response and his responses were often unprofessional. Today we had booked for a 2 hour driving session, and I took a train to the agreed meeting location only to get a message from Bernie saying that he's no longer available. I had wasted time and money and also re-arranged my schedule for the lesson. Obviously I won't be using his services and I wouldn't recommend them either. Update: I can confirm that I did ask about the price multiple times but this was to confirm/negotiate rather than a refusal to pay. Also, I did cancel a lesson but this was because I tested positive for COVID.

Fantastic experience: Bernie is a fantastic driving instructor, makes you comfortable and give so much useful info! One of the strongest point of this driving school, is the fact that the instructors adapt to your level. If you evolve fast, you'll face new learning faster. If you need more time, Bernie and his colleague are here to give you more time. Fantastic 5 stars for C&A driving school!

Fantastic experience: I would like to firstly say a Big Thank to my Driving instructor B, for having the time and Patience with me. B is an amazing guy and a good teacher. I was with a particular driving school before and they made me cry and feel less confident when driving and just took my money. But i must say this Driving school C&A is 10/10 they make time to teach you how to drive safe on the roads and tell you were your going wrong and make you feel good in your self when driving, Big Up B!! Had only a few lessons with him and passed the test, he is teaching you everything you need to pass the test, explains the things which you memorise really well and start doing automatically. Great practice and super clear explanation. Always on time, will take you to the test centre so definitely recommend to everyone who wants to get a driving license quickly!
