Negative experience: Not recommended. Had a bed experience with this instructor.
Thank you for the review but unfortunately I have never taught you so a little confused.
I do receive a lot of enquiries every day and unfortunately I cannot pick up the phone when I am teaching due to safety so apologies if you have unsuccessfully tried to get hold of me. I try my hardest to call everyone back & I do have a voicemail facility on my phone. Saying that I have reviewed my voicemail enquiries over the past couple of weeks and cannot see any new enquiry from a Krisnan Patel. Maybe confusing me with someone else.
Fantastic experience: From the very start, Tony took the time to listen and truly understand how I learn best. He didn’t just follow a rigid teaching method, he adapted his approach to suit me, making sure every lesson was effective and made sense to me. One of the things I appreciated most was how he identified my weaknesses and tackled them one by one. He didn’t allow me to make excuses for my mistakes, but he also never made me feel bad about them. Instead, he helped me work through each issue with practical solutions that actually worked for me. Thanks to his guidance, I've not only passed my test, but more importantly, I now feel like a better and safer driver. Thank you, Tony!

It amazes me how it is possible to achieve the things we strive to do even at first when it seems a mountain to climb and an impossible task. Seeing you pass your driving test with such a good performance not long after saying I just have to accept that maybe I wasn’t meant to drive is an absolute credit to your hard work, determination and a steadfast refusal not to give up. Well done you. Well done indeed & total respect. Never got to enjoy the Herne Bay ice cream. Maybe next time you’re paying the town a visit.
Fantastic experience: I am incredibly grateful to Tony for his guidance and support in helping me pass my driving test. I approached him at a very challenging time, but he worked actively with me to navigate the tight timelines and overcome various obstacles. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend a better driving instructor than Tony. His lessons got me through my driving test first time, he’s been very supportive and helpful since our first lesson together. Tony always made sure every lesson was tailored to how I learn best and really knew how to progress my driving. I am very thankful to have had such a great driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Tony was an amazing instructor. He was incredibly patient and aswell as that, incredibly flexible. He was always calm and professional and led me to pass my driving test first try with 1 single minor! I would highly recommend Tony as the driving instructor to go to.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to come on and say a big thank you to Tony. I was a late starter for driving, 32 and incredibly nervous, almost cancelled the first lesson on many occasions. Tony was patient, supportive and understanding, i had a few wobbles along the way but this was quickly resolved. I passed yesterday first time, much sooner than expected.. all thanks so Tony. Fantastic experience: I had a brilliant driving instructor! That helped me pass my test first time! I was very nervous and was very forgetful but my instructor tony helped me through my nerves and gradually built up my confidence to drive through the lessons, while being very extremely patient with me as I kept forgetting and when my nerves got the best of me. I cannot thank tony enough for helping me achieve one of my main goals. It's safe to say I'm not the easiest person to teach but he never gave up! I would 1000% recommend tony for anyone that's looking to start driving.

Yes, you are right that driving never came easy for you but you never gave up & showed enormous strength & resilience to keep going which makes your 1st time pass with just one solitary driving fault such an amazing result. Hearing the praise from the examiner afterwards was lovely to hear but what will stick with me is was when after we said our goodbyes your partner lifting you up and swinging you round In congratulations was seeing your big beaming smile. Try to remember these happy moments in life and use these of what you are capable in doing when you are facing difficult & challenging circumstances. Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ♾️ I’ll struggle to put it into words how thankful I am towards Tony and the kindness he should towards me and my driving journey. I was so nervous to begin driving and thought it would be something I would never be able to do but with the help of Tony I passed first time with two minors!! Tony’s kindness and good humour put me at ease and even when the nerves got the best of me and I did have a cry he was caring, companionate, (very very very) patient and encouraged me to brush myself of and keep driving. Tony’s faith and patience in me not only secured me a pass but also made me realise I can do anything I put my mind too! I don’t think I would have been able to become as confident and pass if it wasn’t for Tony and I recommended him 10000% to anyone who is learning to drive. Asides from Tony’s amazing personality he was always reliable, gave constructive feedback as we practiced workshops and had an exceptional ability to explain complex driving concepts in a clear and understandable way, which significantly boosted my confidence behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: Firstly I would like to start with a massive Thank you to Tony. I started my driving lessons 10 years ago. And after an 8 year hiatus from driving, choosing Tony to be my driving instructor was by far one of the best decision made. The supportive and patient way he teaches most definitely would put any nervous or new drivers at ease. During my time learning with Tony ( 8 months) he has shown a genuine compassion as a teacher and also as a person knowing that life happens. Taking time throughout my lesson to listen to concerns ranging from the task at hand. Learning to drive areas I didn’t feel 100% on, adding constructive areas for improvement and working on those areas combined made me feel heard and that the money I was spending was indeed well placed and I was in good hands. And then there were the areas that fell well out of Tony’s remit. Listening to the day to day things that could weigh someone down with an understanding ear. So if you are looking for a driving instructor look no further. Thank you again tony for everything and your support that lead up to passing my test 2nd time lucky.

Negative experience: I didn’t have a positive experience with Tony. I’ve been driving for 16 years, just wanted a UK license, and it felt like he just wanted to bring me down and make me have more lessons than needed. On top of that, for him to make it to the cancellation test I’ve found, he wanted to charge more because he “was cancelling another lesson to make it to my test”. Aren’t tests a priority? I had to find another instructor to take me to the test, one that actually boosted my confidence a lot more.
Little confused by this review as I did not refuse or chose not to take Alene to her driving test, a late minute cancellation test she was given to me with a couple of days notice. This was booked by Alene without checking my availability. I informed her straight away that it clashed with another driving test that has been pre-booked for months and there is no way I would have let my other
pupil down to give what Alene wanted.
I informed her I was prepared to cancel a lesson afterwards to get her to her test & I took the initial necessary steps to do so but I informed her I had severe doubts that I couldn’t make it back on time but I would try my very best to if she wanted me to. This was due to traffic delays on the Thanet Way (A299) where road works had just literally started & I even sent her reports on the traffic delays leading me to say that I didn’t think I would make it on time.
Regardless It was not me who declined my willingness to try or my offer of rescheduling her test to a mutually beneficial time but Alene who did want to pay my standard & publicised charges for this and the conversation was left with me wishing her good luck.
Incidentally my other pupil passed on his first attempt and I received a lovely review from him as well as a hug! A lovely moment to cherish as I knew how much his licence would change his life.
I find her comment of me getting Alene to do more lessons than needed equally perplexing . I gave her an estimation of how many hours would be needed based on prior experience on international learners converting to UK roads but she said she didn’t need this due to her current high standards which I took at face value. It was clear that after her initial lessons were completed she was significantly short of reaching the necessary standards on the short time scale involved. However again it was her that asked for additional hours (demanded from me more to the point) and whilst I continued to support her providing additional lessons to her initial test unfortunately she wasn’t successful clearly indicating that these extra hours were indeed needed.
Alene has also forgotten to say that she then messaged me asking urgently for more lessons prepping for her 2nd test which I couldn’t offer her in the short notice given
Truth will always offend people who are opposed to it and where truth doesn’t fit their agenda, all because she couldn’t get what she wanted and it was impossible for me to meet her unreasonable demands
In terms of the other comments there is an awful lot more than first meets the eye including an attempt to short pay me. If anyone knew all the facts they would be truly shocked. I went above & beyond giving an awful lot of personal time & effort in trying to explain how her driving would be assessed on the UK test but this was met by unacceptance & resistance to her steadfast view she was a high quality driver and that the UK test was beneath her which made it a very difficult and totally unenjoyable experience for me.
And is it strange that Alene is the very 1st negative review I have ever received. Since I’ve been a driving instructor I have taught hundreds of pupils, with every single review left being 100% positive and infact I have previously received accreditations from an outside body as a top instructor in the local area reviewing the feedback left by past pupils.
Thankfully I have been blessed with so many pupils where helping people realise their dreams & changing their lives for the better. It’s is more than a job to me, it’s an absolute privilege and one person will not change the way I feel & the way I do my job. Please visit my website and read Sam’s story. Fantastic experience: Book With Tony!!! I would strongly recommend this company thanks to my experience with my driving instructor Tony. Tony is my second driving instructor and he is excellent. His teaching skills has allowed me to feel at ease to which has given me the confidence to drive to the best I can. I’ve learnt so much more with Tony than with my previous instructor.
