Fantastic experience: After 9 years of driving automatic I decided to take the leap and switch to manual. Gill was quick on getting my test booked the first time contacting Pass Driving School, so polite, prompt and supportive. I had the privilege of having John as my instructor, he again was very supportive and was so encouraging. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to both John and Gill. I would highly recommend them, they’re a brilliant team and go above and beyond. After a small number of lessons I passed my test first time with only 1 minor. Not only are Gill and John brilliant at what they do, they are both amazing people. Thank you both so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: I learned driving here and Mr. Shaun was my instructor. Throughout our driving lesson journey, Shaun made me comfortable on english roads since i am from different country. I am pleased to inform that today i recieved my driving test pass certificate in the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: The managers of this company managed to get me a last minute mock test with one of their instructors Steve! Steve done a mock test with me a week before my test in Herne bay which is an area I am not familiar with (my test was booked for Herne bay) Steve gave me tips and gave me a list of things to work on before my test day and he also answered texts I sent him in regard to questions I had about my test day. I came out with a pass and 0 minors! Thank you to Pass driving school for fitting me in last minute and Steve to your words of encouragement and tips!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor Linda Proctor from pass driving school was better than anyone I could have asked for! The most patient, understanding and encouraging person when learning how to drive. She was supportive and prioritised her time to best fit her students schedules! I honestly couldn’t recommend her more, from no experience to drivers license in 8-9 months, Linda made my experience so positive :)

Fantastic experience: I would recommend pass driving to anyone especially Nicole & Mr Patrick Garner . They were amazing instructors passed my test first time due to their competency and determination in helping me overcome my fears.

Negative experience: Had an awful experience with Joe Jones from this driving school. He was dishonest about his availabilities for lessons, asked for the cash for the lesson mid-way through the first lesson at a random stop, before he'd even checked my provisional license (which he never even ended up checking), he talked for several minutes uneccessarily throughout the lesson when the car was stopped and it felt like he was just trying to conserve his fuel meaning I could barely actually do any driving. To top things off his car was unclean and smelt really bad. I would not recommend Joe Jones as a driving instructor at all.

Fantastic experience: John O’Sullivan (Manual car) was a fantastic teacher from start to finish. Patient, reliable and flexible to any schedule. Would highly recommend for any beginners and any existing drivers.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test this morning first time with only one minor thanks to my wonderful instructor Dawn Blackford here at Pass Driving School - I cannot recommend her enough, driving initially was something I found daunting as it was so out of my comfort zone but Dawn made me at ease in lessons from our very first one! I never dreaded lessons like I had heard from friends experiences elsewhere, but looked forward to them. Our lessons were always well thought out adjusting to what areas I needed improvement on, scheduling in lessons and communication was always easy and prompt, just an overall great learning experience. Thank you again Dawn for all of your support I'm so thankful for learning to drive here!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing Driving school, really came through for my son. We were let down by a local instructor who acted completely unprofessionally, 3 days before his test. Leaving us without a car or instructor. Pass were Absolutely amazing, we had a new instructor within an hour and a car available for his test. Nicole Hyland was amazing she really build up his confidence again and reassured him, he would be OK. We can't thank you enough and are happy to report he passed first time with your support.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test with 1 minor this morning, I can not recommend or thank Chris Smith enough for all of kindness and patience in getting me through my intensive course and driving test. When I started my course I was so nervous, but those nerves soon disappeared with Chris’s gentle encouragement. He knew I could do it and he boosted my confidence from the get go. Fantastic experience: I’m so incredibly pleased to say that I PASSED FIRST TIME!! I want to say a massive thank you to Peter Elliott. He has been the most amazing driving instructor ever. He’s incredibly patient and kind which really helped with any anxiety that I had and also helped me so much to grow in confidence and skill. I had around 16 hours with him before passing (building on lessons I had a while ago with a different instructor) and I definitely noticed how much my driving ability improved in the time I had with him. Fantastic experience: What a result! I had lessons with Linda Proctor and I cannot express enough how much my confidence grew from day one. Linda really helped me to get to grips with driving to feel confident and safe behind the wheel, and I passed my test first time in February of this year. Regardless of your driving experience and whether you are confident or not-so, I believe Linda really excelled when it came to helping me to become more consistent prior to test. We did not have to reschedule my test as I was test-ready by the date of my test as Linda and I had initially expected. I am genuinely proud to say I have passed with Pass. Couldn't recommend enough. Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot recommend Kev Lott from Pass Driving School enough! I have struggled with confidence with other instructors but Kev made me feel very relaxed and always offered reassurance. He is amazing at what he does, I passed with no minors and it’s all thanks to him!

Fantastic experience: Recently I finished my Driving lessons with Pass driving and Passed first time thanks to my instructor Alan Hayward! I hadn't had any experience of driving before this but Alan was very clear and took his time breaking down maneuvers into simple steps before we did it making it a lot easier to learn. Alan was very calm and collected whenever I made a mistake and I never felt afraid of doing any part of the lessons for the first time thanks to this. Additionally, whenever we needed to adjust the learning or I felt there was something I wanted to practice then Alan would adjust the schedule to make sure I felt confident doing those things before moving on. And even when I had enough experience to drive unaided, Alan was there to chat to and ask questions to making the drives a lot more relaxed than I had thought going into them! I definitely recommend Alan if you are a first time driver and are feeling a bit nervous about being behind the wheel!

Fantastic experience: I had my lessons with Chris Smith, and he was absolutely brilliant. I was a lapsed learner, I'd taken some lessons years ago but had had a lot of anxiety driving so was nervous getting back in the seat again. Chris was exactly what I needed, calm and collected. Good at making you feel at ease in the car but also nudging you away from bad habits. He really helped me gain confidence and start enjoying and looking forward to our lessons.

Fantastic experience: Andy Stitson is one in a million. Cannot thank you enough for taking on my daughter at such short notice and giving her confidence and providing 1st class driving knowledge. Having been let down by a previous driving school with only 2 weeks to my daughters test, you offered to help out and provide the skills she needed to pass. . Thank you also to Jill from the main office at Pass Driving School who went above & beyond to help us out and get my daughter an instructor at very short notice. Negative experience: My experience with this driving instructor (Neetu) was not only unprofessional but deeply disheartening. Beyond abruptly canceling my driving test and ignoring my attempts to reach out, she displayed inappropriate behaviour. There were instances of passive-aggressive remarks, including uncomfortable comments about my weight, creating a hostile learning environment. Adding to the frustration, she made me book numerous lessons leading up to my test, only to drop on the test day, claiming she couldn't take me due to an expected failure. She then canceled the test, promised to reschedule, but failed to do so, leaving me out of both time and money. The repeated avoidance of my attempts to communicate only deepened the sense of frustration and disappointment. This experience was not only a waste of resources but also a demoralising and unprofessional ordeal.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Pass Driving School enough! Joel is a fantastic instructor! He helped me regain my confidence with driving, made sure I knew everything, and made sure that I was definitely ready before sending me off for my test, which I then passed. He was patient and kind, and broke instructions down in a way that made it very clear to understand (which helped massively as I have ADHD). Great instructor for the anxious people. Edit/update: This is long overdue but following this, I then had a motorway driving lesson with John King as I was highly anxious about motorway driving. He was very reassuring, inspired confidence, and explained everything in a way that was very easy to understand. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I passed recently with linda proctor. She was phenomenal and i will continue to recommend her to everyone, the amount of time and effort she put in to help me pass and gain my confidence especially with the roundabouts in canterbury was honestly incredible. I couldn't fault Linda one bit, she is funny and caring and makes learning to drive fun and entertaining whilst also learning the seriousness of driving. I took two practical tests i failed the first one and the second time i passed i only had to wait around 2 weeks before she managed to get the second test booked in for me instead of having to wait months.

Positive experience: I was learner driver for automatic driving at Pass driving school under driving instructor Neetu Singh. She is absolutely professional, patient, experienced and possess excellent knowledge on driving. She has strong knowledge of traffic laws, maintenance knowledge and problem-solving skills. I have been lucky to have her as my instructor and thankful to her for making me a self-assured driver. Would greatly recommend. Not only she is an excellent instructor, but a kind hearted and loveable person. She worked incredibly well to melt away all my fears about driving and I cannot thank her enough. It was an absolute please to have been taught by her.I truly enjoyed entire experience of learning and I passed my exam smoothly last week.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant driving school. From the beginning with first contact with Gill and then having Steve Bushell for both my teenage daughters. Both were very nervous but put at so much ease with Steve. In fact they both said they would miss him and the laughs they had and would always recommend him. Fantastic experience: I cannot stress enough how good this driving school is! John king is an amazing instructor, I went from being a nervous wreck to passing first time with 0 faults! He doesnt take any bs and will have you driving within 25 lessons!! But you know what they say, behind every great man there is an even more amazing woman running things behind the scenes, Gill is an incredible woman and I cannot thank either of them enough. 10/10 would recommend without a doubt! Fantastic experience: I would just like to say a big thank you to Neetu Singhu for being an absolutely wonderful driving instructor! I cannot recommend her enough. Before learning to drive, I was with another instructor, and I hated driving. I would be filled with dread 3 days before my lesson, I was underconfident and I was a danger to other road users! With Neetu, from day 1 I was equipped with confidence and the ‘I can do it attitude’. She equipped me with clear, concise instructions, that allowed me to independently feel confident that I could drive, and carry out any manoeuvre with asked to do so. Neetu, was extremely calm and reassuring when I made a mistake, also encouraging me, that this was a learning curve, and that the mistakes I made would help me perfect the maneuver or meeting situation in the future. This was exactly, what happened on my test, I was asked to carry out the forward bay park maneuver after a hectic wet, emergency stop. She taught me to pause, and think ‘what is the examiner looking for’. It was because of this, I remembered in the emergency to make sure that I checked thoroughly before moving off, from the emergency stop. With the examiner saying “good one”. I felt confident, alone with the examiner when I had to deal with pedsterians on the test running in front of the car, to dealing with very busy cross road situations! I said to myself, that I would never drive, and I would have to use the bus forever. Neetu placed in me a life time virtue that self-belief can achieve the unthinkable. If you are looking for someone who is calm, and reassuring Neetu is the one!

Fantastic experience: Carlos was a fantastic instructor, great humour and excellent knowledge. Passed first time with no faults. 11/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Richard Lewis as my instructor. Such an nice instructor with patience and efficiency with my lessons to always allow me to make sufficient progress which was enjoyable. He was great at making me understand things simpler and providing me with confidence. Our lesson times were always consistent and if needed- flexible- which I appreciated. Defiantly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Honestly, I couldn't recommend Pass, and more specifically Liz Camp, enough. Liz is the most patient and dedicated driving instructor that I could've asked for. Without her, I would've given up after the first couple of months but she wouldn't let me, she encouraged me to keep going and got me to be a full licence holder. If I were to recommend any driving school, it would definitely be Pass.

Fantastic experience: Such a great experience with huge thanks to Peter Elliott, I passed first time after a 6year gap in my previous tests. 10years I have had my provisional and numerous failed tests. I was super nervous but Pete totally put me at ease and filled me with confidence! I cannot recommend Pete enough. He is an extremely skilled instructor, huge wealth of knowledge and experience. He is extremely efficient and thorough. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Pete is super friendly and everything you could possibly want or need in an instructor.

Negative experience: I cannot recommend Steve Thurlow to anyone. My son was initially using another instructor, who became unwell during the lessons. As a result of this, she recommended Mr Thurlow to us. Sadly, my son failed to pass his test under Mr Thurlow's instruction (which is not my issue), and immediately following the test, organised with my son for the re-test and confirmed that my son would be able to use his car. Just days later, this was withdrawn and left my son in a real spot. He is highly unreliable, and not a man of his word. Instead, with my help, my son bought his own car, and I taught him in his own car, which he also took the test in. He flew through the test with no faults. I'd recommend finding a different instructor.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving first time on 29/10/22 with instructor NEETHU SINGH many thanks to her and PASS driving school. I should mention few word about my instructor Neethu Singh, she is fabulous instructor, she always punctual, on time every time, she gave freedom to drive and taught me each and every step to become a good and safe driver on the road, initially I scared to drive, knocked many curbs, confused in roundabout, I thought driving is not for me, she motivated me, she is patient instructor and always made sure I stayed motivated and focussed to do the best. She conducted Sat Nav drive, one mock test each and every day. Gave me Very good tips to overcome problems in roundabouts, Bay parking, revers parking and parallel parking and covers all Herne bay routes before my test. I felt very comfortable driving with Neethu, I hope my story will help some other people to learn driving safely with Neethu Singh. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: How delighted I was to help out in the teaching of one of your students today 21/10/22 at about 11:25 around Junction 6 on the M2, At the time your instructor was teaching the student how to accelerate down the near side of a HGV just before it's has finished carrying out an overtaking manoeuvre of the car being controlled by one of your students. I do hope the flashing indicators and little shake from my trailer stay in your students memory for many years, and they realise playing games like this with HGV's is dangerous / could pose a serious danger to life, meanwhile I also hope your instructor that was in charge of this student at the time is struck off your instructor list. No wonder driving standards are so poor in this country if this is how they are getting taught nowadays

Fantastic experience: Steve Bushell was my instructor and I couldn’t recommend anyone better. He was so patient with me and we had great times in the car talking about life and I would get excited to get in the car with him. He was so easy to work with and I’m quite frankly going to miss him :)

Fantastic experience: Ilias was my driving instructor and he has been absolutely amazing. We had 6-7 lessons (I had booked 10 hours) and Ilias helped me pass in the first attempt. It has been a very good time learning from him.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Pass Driving School. Lessons were well structured with great lesson diagrams and summary charts provided. Lessons were kindly structured around my busy work schedule which as greatly appreciated. My instructor Peter Elliot was absolutely amazing, from the first class to the driving test completion he was extremely supportive, helping to provide classes to suit my schedule and was keen to make sure my driving techniques were up to measure. Despite my previous driving experience, I am now a much better driver thanks to Peter and pass driving school. I am happy to recommend Peter and Pass driving to anyone in the future

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t ask for a better driving instructor, Ilias Fotidis. I suffer with so much with my confidence and anxiety, and he makes me feel so at ease every driving lesson, start to finish. He is so patient and caring, and goes at your pace and caters to your specific needs. Never did I think I’d be this confident driving, and I couldn’t have done this without Ilias. Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test with Pass Driving School and couldn't have done it without the help of my amazing instructor Peter Elliott. Every step of the way he was so patient, informative and friendly- completely put me at ease which I really appreciated as I was quite nervous about starting lessons. He went above and beyond, helping me prep for my theory, making time for lessons when they suited me and getting me a last minute test. When I started learning, it was out of necessity but I can honestly say that I now love driving thanks to the confidence and skills Peter has given me. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Started lessons with Terry and I had no experience of driving before hand. He was always available atleast once a week for a two hour lesson. After only about 18 lessons I passed my practicle test first time. Would definitely recommend him as an instructor if you're from around crawley.

Fantastic experience: Excited to say I’ve passed my test yesterday! Chris Smith has been an amazing instructor and would highly recommend to any else who is trying to learn how to drive. By being very calm, honest, and easy to talk to, Chris provides the best atmosphere for learner drivers to feel comfortable and make efficient progress!

Negative experience: Terrible company. On their website they clearly state "Disability driving lessons must be taken in your own car, as our instructors’ cars are not fitted with specialised equipment." When I phoned to ask for this they told me that they couldn't fit me in till September anyway and I had to have lessons in their automatic car. I'm disabled and cannot get into their vehicle due to dislocation of my hips and have a Motability car that I've been learning in for a number of years with family members however wanted some polishing off lessons prior to a test. Why advertise that you must take lessons in your own car if that's not something they are able to do!? They also said I had to be in their area when I'm more than happy to travel to an area where I can learn and just have a few lessons before a test to learn what things I might have missed or what might have changed. Don't advertise that you are an accessible company if you don't allow people to learn in their disability adapted vehicles and don't assume every disabled driver will want to learn in Automatic.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Pass to anyone!! I passed my test in Ashford at the second attempt with Dennis Kent who was an absolutely brilliant instructor. Pass were great from start to finish, they made a real effort to find someone who could make time for lessons when I was available which I really struggled to find with other companies. Dennis was a very insightful and knowledgeable instructor and was really helpful in re-booking my second test and helping move it forward.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely brilliant experience with Pass Driving School. Pre-lockdown 2020 I was learning with a different instructor, I failed two tests and had a lot of lessons. My confidence was decreasing and I felt like I would never pass my test. When it was time to start lessons again, I decided to change to Pass. Right from the start they were helpful and positive in attitude. Gill booked me a test and I retook my theory as it had expired. Then 8 weeks before my practical test, I restarted lessons with my instructor John. His direction was calm, clear and encouraging. Right from the first lesson I felt confident and like passing my test was possible. Leading up to the test I had 10 hours of practice, we covered the curriculum and the routes. John gave me simple, practical guidance on how to do the maneuvers safely and smoothly. His way of talking things through, helped me to understand what I was doing and get the routines established. When it came to the day of the test I felt equipped and capable and had John's words in my head to help me. The heavens opened, the winds howled and it snowed and hailed, however I managed to keep focused and drive safely throughout and pass my test. Third time lucky!!! I am so glad that I switched to Pass. My eighteen year old son is now learning with them too. I highly recommend their school and wish I had gone with them from the start. Thank you to John and Gill for getting me through.

Fantastic experience: Really friendly and reliable instructors. I had a messy start to driving with another instructor and was a bit disheartened about the idea of learning to drive. But this school quickly found availability for me and helped me regain my confidence in driving. My instructor, John, was patient and clear and I would really recommend going with this driving school!
