Fantastic experience: Coming to Checkmate was one of the best decisions i could’ve made. Being let down by so many instructors definitely knocked my confidence. But with Keeley i could not say one bad thing about my experience with her always pointing out the things i was making mistakes on and properly showing me how to do it. I really recommend for someone new to start the journey with checkmate. Thanks for everything ❤️

Fantastic experience: i only started with keeley a month before my driving test. i had learnt no manoeuvres and didn’t feel confident to do my test before starting with her. after my first lesson, i instantly felt better about my driving and felt more confident. the day of my test came and i passed with only one driving fault for having to re adjust my parallel park. i now can drive confidently on my own because of the way i was made to feel during my lessons. if it wasnt due to stating lessons with keeley i would still be learning and wouldn’t feel confident to drive.

Fantastic experience: Had Scott as an instructor and he was very good, patient and explained things to me very well. He is very friendly and makes you feel as comfortable as possible, always wants the best for you and will push you when he knows you can do it. Would 100% recommend as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Woody was my instructor and he was absolutely great! He was so patient and reassuring throughout all my lessons and 3 failed test attempts, but he kept pushing me to keep going and I finally passed! Couldn't recommend him enough, amazing at what he does and an overall great chap :-)

Fantastic experience: Following a stroke in 2021 I had my licence removed due to a loss of some vision .On reapplication after 12 months I used Martin for a number of lessons prior to my assessment and found him to be a great help , even though I have been a driver with work for in excess of 33 years. Martin helped with my confidence getting back behind the wheel and encouraging and mentoring me through to regaining my licence and ultimately my job ... top bloke

Fantastic experience: I had lessons with Scott from 2020 - 2021. My anxiety was absolutely shocking, I had to start from the absolute basics & even that scared the life out of me. Scott was brilliant from day 1, he completely put me at ease & was so patient with me. Scott believed in me & it took a lot of persuasion from Scott to put in for my test, but I ended up passing first time with just 1 minor. He genuinely is an absolute gem. THANK YOU Scott x
