Fantastic experience: It's been about 9 years since I passed when I was 17, but I often think back to my driving lessons with Phil. He really helped me build confidence, and is super knowledgable. I feel like the best person to learn from is not just a driving teacher, but a driving teacher that is a cyclist. I now drive in London and more aware of cyclists thanks to him. From comparing what I've heard about other teachers since passing my test, I really believe Phil is one of the best out there. He's Incredibly personable, he meets you where you're at, and helps you learn what you need to learn to be safe and confident on the road.

Fantastic experience: I have held a driving licence for over 20 years, but had driven very little in that time. I asked Phil to give me some refresher driving lessons and it made all the difference. Phil is a patient, calming presence in the car: offering encouragement and constructive criticism when needed; thinking up challenging driving routes and updating your theory knowledge. Fantastic experience: Totally professional, a lovely personality and someone that you would feel comfortable sitting next to for a 2 hour driving lesson! As a parent of a teenage learner driver, Phil always keeps you up to date with progress via email's so you know what to practise at home. Communication is his strong point and my daughter passed very quickly under his tuition.

Fantastic experience: I changed driving instructors to have Phil. He was great explained and taught everything really well, I passed 1st time no minors at all. The examiner said I had been taught really well, can't get better than that.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Phil as I needed to change my previous instructor. I had about 25 lessons with my previous instructor but I was not making the progress enough to make that leap to pass a test. I failed two driving tests by that point. The worst thing was I was not sure what to focus on in order to improve. My confidence fell so low that I started to avoid any driving opportunities and I would be asking my husband to drive all the time. Then I met Phil.After first FREE lesson (which was extremely refreshing) he identified all the possible issues and helped me to understand as to why I possibly failed my previous tests. He truly made me comfortable and he helped me build my confidence so much so that after few lessons I booked my third test. Phil was there every step of the way, and he even made himself available on the phone and email whenever I wanted to discuss my fear or worries of failure of upcoming test. And I am so please I passed! He was a great teacher and provided fantastic relaxed driving environment (with sense of humor-what I just needed at the time) and he was also a big emotional support for me. Fantastic experience: Phil took my daughter for her first lesson on her 17th birthday and made her feel both confident and comfortable behind the wheel. He is quiet & calm with a great sense of humor. He related really well with my daughter and she loved her lessons. She passed her test 4 months from her first lesson.

Fantastic experience: I needed some refresher lessons after 9 years of no driving since passing...Phil helped me to re-gain confidence quickly and feel relaxed. I was able to build on my skills with coaching and handouts and end up confident even on the motorway! A calm and effective instructor with a lovely personality, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Although its taken me since October to learn to drive, Phil has always been very patient and helpful throughout the whole learning process. He is very good at explaining where you went wrong and how to change it but also at telling you when you have done well which makes you feel more confident when driving. Fantastic experience: Phil was extremely patient, teaching a non-manual friendly guy, who learned on America, how to adapt to the very different driving style and standards in the UK. The lessons were to the point, he doesn't sugar coat your mistakes, and makes you pay extra attention to the details you are doing wrong, so you can work on them and improve them. The only way you can learn is if someone points out what you are doing wrong and suggests paths around it so you can correct it. Phil does all of those things in a way that you don't feel as if he is putting you down, but rather like if he is just having another chat with you. Certainly, a pleasant experience overall, and will keep him in mind for friends and family in the area who are looking for a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Phil is literally the best driving instructor! I enjoyed every lesson I had, and he was so calming at stressful roundabouts! He emailed notes after every lesson, so I never forgot what I'd done and I could check them anytime. He is generally the nicest, chattiest person!
