Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to have had Phil as my driving teacher, and couldn't fault him at all. When I first started my lessons, I was very nervous and convinced I would never be able to drive, but Phil took the time to reassure me and make sure that I was going at a pace that I was comfortable with. He helped me figure out what areas needed improvement, which allowed me to feel confident in my driving. I have now passed my test and just want to say a massive thank you for all of your help!

Fantastic experience: Poor Phil had to put up with me for a long time, helping me come to turns with the fact that I'm not a race car driver; and instead helped me to become a more calm and thoughtful driver. His lessons were great, always enjoyed every one, especially because he took the time to work out how best to help me and I'm so grateful for all his help! Fantastic experience: Phil was a great driving instructor really helpful finding little tips to make it easier or help you remember things better and if your still not understanding he will find another way to explain, helped me pass first time and really recommend Phil for great driving experience for the future not just how to pass a driving test.

Fantastic experience: Phil has been an incredible driving instructor and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from him. He always made me feel comfortable and reassured, and would explain things in a way that made total sense by demonstrating, talking it through, or drawing little doodles on his whiteboard of the road layouts. Thanks to his guidance and support, I was able to pass my test on the first try with only 3 minors! Now, I feel confident going out driving on my own, and I have more opportunities opening up for me. Fantastic experience: I have been doing driving lessons with Phil and on Monday I passed my practical test!! I had a real fear of driving and I never felt comfortable in past lessons, I met Phil and he really calmed me down and gave me so much confidence. I highly recommend him! He explains maneuvers in such a simple way and it just clicks straight away. I never imagined I would actually pass or ever drive, Phil didn't just teach me to pass the test he taught me how to be a confident driver and I can't thank him enough

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend anybody more than Phil! I had lessons with him for just under a year and passed my practical and theory tests first time. He did an amazing job at preparing me and easing my nerves by being patient, understanding and kind. His way of teaching is extremely helpful and informative. Every lesson had a clear aim and was meaningful. I’ve learned so much since I first started and I know that the information will be retained as I progress on my own. I can’t thank him enough for everything, he’s made me a safe and confident independent driver!

Fantastic experience: Had 1 instructor before Phil and I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere with my driving. My friend recommended him and it was the best recommendation. Driving with Phil makes you feel confident and you pick things up really quickly. Not only does he teach you how to drive but he explains why things work which makes you understand more. I was a first time passer with phil and I couldn’t have done it without him! Definitely recommend. Most down to earth and friendly man i’ve ever met.

Fantastic experience: Phil taught my Son from the day of his 17th Birthday. My Son was lacking in confidence and it was a while before he built that up to eventually pass his test today. Rather than rush to pass, there were many many lessons to ensure he was ready to become a legal driver! My Son spoke highly of how Phil treated him with respect, dignity and patience. Fantastic experience: Having had 2 instructors previous to Phil I was not confident with driving and really didn’t enjoy it. Phil changed that instantly, he is so patient and informative and if you make any mistakes he explains how it can be avoided in the future. Fantastic experience: Phil is an absolutely great instructor who thoroughly teaches you all the fundamentals to driving in a fun and friendly atmosphere. If you ever made a mistake whilst driving he wouldn't have a go at you instead, he would explain what went wrong and what you can do to correct it. This way of teaching massively boosted my confidence behind the wheel as there was no pressure whilst driving and all the minor imperfections in my driving began to fade away. Thanks to him I passed my driving with only 2 minors and have complete confidence in myself when driving on my own. Couldn't recommend him enough. Adam L

Fantastic experience: I can say, I'm very lucky to know him and be his student for my driving lesson! He's very kind, good and very patient and he told me about everything I need to know to pass my driving test. He brings back my confidence to o drive, after previous experience with bad instructor. 1st attempt for test was failed because of my silly decision and nervous, but the 2nd test I'm PASSED! Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test yesterday (two days before Christmas Day) after learning to drive with Phil. I cannot thank him enough for his tuition, guidance and instruction throughout the time that I have spent with him. He is incredibly down to earth, friendly and reliable. He is able to understand what you, the learner, specifically need from him, the instructor, and I think that is extremely important when it comes to learning. From the very first lesson he has been full of encouragement and motivation, and was absolutely key in helping me understand areas where I struggled. He is a great instructor and I am going to miss not having him in the passenger seat when driving. That's the best compliment I can pay him.

Fantastic experience: Phil has been extremely supportive in getting me back behind the wheele, after I was involved in a car accident which knocked my confidence massively. Phil was very calm, reassuring and never gave up on me even when I felt I was struggling at times and had a crisis with self confidence. Throughout my driving lessons I was always made to feel like we were in it together and me passing was just as much as a massive achievement to him as much as it was for me. Fantastic experience: Phil is a very experienced driving instructor who has compassion and wealth of knowledge and skill to aid pupils of all ages. As a mature student I had a number of anxieties due to previously attempted to learn to drive 20 yrs previously. Phil helped me in which he recognizer my learning style and individual approach to get me through my test at 48yrs old I was unsure if it it was too late to learn Phil proved I was more than capable. Thanks for getting me through my test debt of gratitude to you for putting up with me. You deserve a medal

Fantastic experience: Phil is a great driving instructor, he is very patient, reassuring and clear in demonstrating and explaining all aspects of safe and secure driving. From basic tuition on how to navigate road systems, all the way up to the more technical aspects of driving such as the dreaded parallel park! Phil does it all with great care, ease and understanding to get you up to that "test ready" standard. He is always very punctual and very accommodating when it came to planning lessons and all of my lessons where well organised and structured from the get go. Learning to drive with Phil was a pleasure, his positive and friendly attitude made lessons stress free, enabling me to advance swiftly to test standard. This in turn produced excellent results on the test day where I passed first time and I cant only put this down to the tuition I received. Upon passing my test I thought it would be a good idea to then have one final lesson with Phil via his motorway driving lesson to further hone my skills and understanding of driving on motorways. Again the lesson was well structured and it felt great diving without the learner badges. It really gives you added motivation and confidence on motorways as a new driver and I can now safely say that all the skills and experience gained with Phil will enable me to be a safe, logical and observant driver. He is one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet and cannot recommend him enough as a driving instructor.
