RAM School of Motoring

Three decades of expertise in Leicester and Leicestershire

Operating since 1997, RAM School of Motoring has established itself as a reliable institution across Leicester and the wider Leicestershire region. The school has consistently maintained a strong reputation for delivering affordable driving lessons while achieving an impressive high pass rate for its students.

Instructors who build confidence from day one

Student feedback consistently highlights the exceptional quality of the teaching staff. Instructors such as Pradeep Raja, Raj, and Vasan are repeatedly praised for their calm, patient, and highly professional approach. Learners note that these instructors take the time to explain concepts thoroughly, provide clear and constructive feedback, and adapt their methods to each individual's pace. Many students also appreciate that the team can communicate in multiple languages, removing barriers for international or non-native English speakers.

Comprehensive training for every driving goal

The school goes beyond standard tuition by offering a range of specialized programs tailored to different needs:

• Standard car licence preparation with structured, progressive lessons
• Commercial and heavy vehicle training, including C1 licence and taxi test preparation
• Refresher courses for those returning to the road after a break
• Flexible scheduling options, including evening sessions to accommodate work and study commitments

This versatility allows the school to cater to both complete beginners and experienced drivers looking to regain their confidence.

Proven methods that deliver first-time passes

One of the most frequently mentioned success factors is the school's rigorous focus on road safety and the Highway Code. Instructors ensure that learners master everything from basic vehicle control to advanced manoeuvres, while thoroughly covering practical test requirements like the 'show me and tell me' questions. Many students report passing their examination on the first attempt with zero to a few minor faults. The preparation extends beyond the car, with some instructors sharing custom videos, photographs, and detailed route guides to simulate real test conditions.

Flexible scheduling and dedicated student support

RAM School of Motoring places a strong emphasis on student convenience and continuous support. Learners can book sessions at times that suit their routines, and the school maintains a highly responsive communication channel, with instructors readily available via text or call to clarify doubts and offer last-minute guidance. The vehicles are kept clean and sanitized, reflecting a clear commitment to health and safety standards. This combination of adaptability, thorough preparation, and unwavering instructor dedication makes the school a top choice for anyone seeking a reliable and supportive driving education experience.
