Fantastic experience: I recently completed my training at 1st Link HGV Driving School, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. I trained on a Class 2 vehicle and am thrilled to say I passed my test on the first attempt! A huge part of my success is thanks to Victor, my instructor. His patience, expertise, and wealth of knowledge made a significant difference throughout my training. From the start, it was clear that their primary goal is to help people successfully obtain their HGV license, rather than simply making a profit. After my first attempt, I unfortunately didn’t pass, but the team recognized that I didn’t actually need more lessons—just another shot at the exam. Many places might suggest extra hours to increase costs, but not here. They genuinely focus on what’s best for each individual, tailoring their recommendations based on your actual needs. Plus, their prices are the most competitive I found, and the location is ideal—right next to the test centre, which really takes some of the stress out of test day. Disadvantages? Honestly, none that I encountered. If you’re looking for effective, straightforward training with a team that truly cares, 1st Link is the place to go!

They got the best instructors and the badge of the training course, I came to them with a car licence and in less than 2 weeks I got my class 1 C+E licence with first time pass. course is very cheap compared to other training centres, This training school i can proudly say is the best dont hesitate to do your training with the training centre. Lill top man got me to get rid of my bad driving habit of 20% of not passing I would like to say HUGE thank you, The instructors are so good that they are more desperate than yourself to make you pass in only 19 hours of training 100% Recommended, I have been looking around for HGV training companies and after few recommendations I finally chose 1ST Link... I can honestly say they amazing I have to drive from where I stay 45 everyday which definitely what it I would recommend to anyone who wants to do their training course.

Fantastic experience: I did 9 hrs in total, which included time for reverse practise/test, and the driving test itself. So in total drove about 5 hrs, pleased to say past 1st time! Goes to say with good instruction from Dave Jackman anythings possible. But make sure you listen to advise from management and instructor.

Fantastic experience: I completed class1 courses straight from car, no class 2 experience at all. Instructors had a ton of patience with me and I was explained everything very clear. Passed first time on the reversing and second time on the on road test (my error). Price was a steal specially with the diesel prices now, couldn't find anything cheaper between Milton Keynes - Peterborough - Birmingham area. Staff was very friendly and kept me updated throughout the process with bookings, extra driving hours, exam dates and advice on how to find work in the domain. I have travelled more than 1 hour each way to get to this driving school every day and worth it every single penny and minute.Would definitely recommend to friends or anyone that want to get into HGV driving.
