Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with Mark Jordan Driving School and would recommend it to anyone. I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Richard Wall. He was incredibly calm and forgiving, and he excelled at identifying my weaknesses and turning them into strengths. Richard taught me all the essential skills and techniques of driving, and his great sense of humour made the lessons more enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Mark Jordan Driving School offered me the best experience - it was fun, friendly, and I managed to pass first time with great help from Richard! When choosing my driving school I was looking for an experienced driver, high pass rates and friendliness; Richard Wall provided all three with much enthusiasm and passion. I gained so much self-confidence and perseverance along with reassurance and positivity from Richard, from start to finish. I am so thankful to have Richard as my instructor as the teaching methods and driving experience was clear, well-expressed and enjoyable. Everything is tracked and logged for you to have easy access to notes of what went well and how to improve. Fantastic experience: When choosing a driving school I would recommend Mark Jordan especially Richard who was my instructor who is very patient and calm which built my confidence and got me through my test, he used many teaching methods one being an ipad with many useful apps to give thorough explanations and great visual examples of the select situation. Mark jordan driving and my instructor Richard specifically helped me get through my test fast and easy, i highly reccomend.

Fantastic experience: We decided to use Mark Jordan Driving after seeing the positive reviews online. Particularly, we valued the prompt response to emails alongside the good level of communication such as the weekly reflective logs to track my progress at home. My instructor Carly has been great at tailoring the lessons to suit my needs and I have found her to be reassuring and friendly in every lesson to make me feel confident for my test. She was always punctual and ready for the lesson and we’d certainly recommend her and the school to others.

Fantastic experience: I have recently just passed my driving test on the 13th of March 2023 and i couldn’t have done it without the help of Mark Jordan driving school. Before i started to even think about taking lessons i had heard many good things about Mark Jordan and all his great instructors. I had read all the excellent reviews and had been told first hand by my friends and family. I then decided it was time to start my driving lessons so i instantly thought of Mark Jordan and they fit me in straight away. At first i was quite nervous about driving, but as soon as i got in the car with my instructor Richard, he made me feel at ease right away. Even though i heard all the great reviews i was still a bit on edge about who my instructor was going to be. Luckily i had Richard, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, he would give me different ways of remembering and understanding things if i didn’t quite get the topic. Richard made learning to a drive an absolute breeze, i expected learning to be difficult and a long process but with Richards teaching it made it fun and interesting to learn, as soon as my lesson was over i couldn’t wait for the next one to come around. My lessons were for 2 hours and they felt like 20 minutes. As well as making sure i understood the topic, Richard would put me at ease by making jokes and just having good conversations in general which made me enjoy my lessons even more. It felt like Richard really cared about me and my driving and this is another thing i was worried about prior to learning, because i didn’t want an instructor who didn’t care a lot. I would definitely recommend Mark Jordan Driving School to anyone who is considering to start their driving lessons. I have already told my friends and family that when they do start their lessons to go straight to Mark Jordan.

Fantastic experience: When I was choosing a driving school I was struggling till I found Mark Jordan driving school, they were helpful and flexible about the lessons. This lead to me being able to starting learning quite soon after asking for availability at a time that was good for me. It turned out to be better than I expected and gave me the confidence to want to do more and tricky routes and skills. My instructor Richard was supportive and encouraging which also helped me with confidence with driving. Richard’s teaching methods were clear and often simple to follow and effective to get a good end result. I would recommend Mark Jordan driving to anyone especially people who are maybe nervous to starting driving because you will gain more confidence as you go along and have a fun and enjoyable time whilst doing it.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Mark Jordan driving has been amazing. I was very anxious about learning to drive at first but always felt at ease with my instructor, Richard. I learn best when things go wrong or unplanned and Richard always let me figure the situation out on my own or prompt me to fix the situation before doing it for me. I felt this really helped me understand what went wrong and why and change it for next time. I really like the fact that this driving school offer 2 hour lessons instead of 1, as it allows for more learning instead of rushing to get as much driving as possible done in a short amount of time. My instructor, Richard was amazing at helping me understand what I was learning before going straight into it. For example, he would give me a detailed “brief” explanation of what we were going to do before actually doing it. This was helpful when doing things like roundabouts, certain manoeuvres and going through harder test routes as i felt more prepared. Richard has also been so understanding and helped plan lessons around my schedule despite how annoying cancelling and rebooking my lessons must’ve been! I’m really glad I chose Mark Jordan Driving as I couldn’t have passed my test without Richard!

Fantastic experience: I chose to learn to drive with Mark Jordan Driving School as a few of my friends had learnt to drive here and had a good experience. I was really anxious when beginning my lessons so for me the most important thing was someone who was kind and patient with me, but could also have a laugh to help me to relax. My instructor Jamie was amazing. He was so patient and helped me to achieve. He helped to lower my anxiety until I felt like I was confident enough to go and take my test. Learning to drive with Jamie was such a lovely experience. I felt completely at ease and comfortable. Whenever I made a mistake Jamie would thoroughly explain what went wrong and how to improve which was super beneficial. Overall I would 100% recommend learning to drive with Mark Jordan Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I chose mark jordan driving due to to the incredible reviews and great reputation. I started off my lessons with Andy a while ago and we quickly got on great. At the start of every lesson andy would speak to me about last weeks lesson and what we were going to do on todays lesson. Every single step was described in great detail. Understanding I was nervous and didn’t like new things, Andy took things one step at a time not to overwhelm me. Never once did Andy ever say anything negative towards me about my driving even if I did something very wrong he just taught me how not do it again and we practised until I knew the manoeuvre like the back of my hand. Unfortunately I failed my first test because of a silly mistake that threw me off for the rest of the test however I felt so confident today during my test and passed! Andy was just as happy as me as he knew how frustrated I was becoming with not being able to do what I wanted when I wanted because I wasn’t able to drive, he knew how much I wanted to pass and I will really miss my lessons every Tuesday with Andy. Can’t thank Andy enough and I would recommend mark jordan driving to anyone wanting to drive.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Mark Jordan's Driving School to anyone. After choosing them based on their excellent reviews and knowing friends that had passed first time with them I knew I was in good hands and I passed today first time. Mark, my instructor, made that possible! He was kind, patient and helped lower my anxiety so much until it was non-existent. This was achieved by allowing me to work on each subject at my own pace and giving me time to work on controlling my anxiety, which at the start was off the scale. We only tackled something new when I was fully ready and prepared to do so, and if I didn’t feel comfortable when we did tackle it, he was happy for me to hold off and come back to it when I felt ready. He sent me my notes every week that we had discussed at the end of each lesson, this allowed me to practice in my own car on the areas that I knew needed improving. It was a pleasure to learn with Mark Jordan Driving School and I have already said I would recommend them to anyone. Mia

Richard was very good at explaining and didn't rush things, if things needed improvement he was always very clear why and how to improve. Fantastic experience: The most important thing about choosing a driving instructor is that they are personable and understanding and are an effective teacher. Another important factor was accessibility and flexibility as it’s hard sometimes to fit it around study’s and work. Leaning to drive was a lot more fun than I expected as it was tailored to my ability and what I wanted to learn rather than a strict system. My instructor was Mark and he was amazing. He really took his time to understand me and what I needed and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible. His teaching methods were very effective and adaptable making it suitable according to my needs and the situation. I would definitely recommend him as he made me feel comfortable and confident in my ability and helped my self esteem as well as improving my driving ability.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Mark Jordan Driving school and especially Andy I decided to re take my driving lessons after my confidence being knocked with a different driving school. He was amazing and really reinstalled my confidence his methods of teaching are always calm and relaxed and so patient! At the end of every lesson we would go through what we thought went well and what we should practice the following week on the iPad and he would send it to my email which I thought really helped. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was ready for my test he even borrowed me his Tom Tom to do test routes and gave up his day off to take me out one last time before my test! Fantastic experience: I chose Mark Jordan Driving through many recommendations from friends. When first looking for an instructor the most important thing was flexibility, and how they could fit around my college course. Mark Jordan exceeded this expectation with Andy who was my instructor. Andy made me feel confident and never made me worried about anything, his ways of teaching in steps and going through driving part by part improved my driving so much. After every lesson, we’d fill out a form on his iPad, which would recap on my drive for that lesson, and any areas for improvement. My allocated 2 hour slots each week was great for me, and allowed me to improve on anything from the previous lesson. I would definitely recommend Mark Jordan Driving School to anyone looking to learn to drive. A big thank you to Mark Jordan and Andy on helping me pass my driving test.

Fantastic experience: Mark Jordan driving school offered me a wonderful and exciting driving experience and helped me to pass 1st time. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is worried about learning to drive or just if you want to learn to drive in general. I had Mark himself as my instructor and I couldn’t fault him at all. The teaching methods used were very accommodating and Mark would always let me decide anything I specifically wanted to do in a lesson as well as teach me things in an order that helped me progress quickly.

Fantastic experience: When it comes down to choosing an instructor to help your journey of driving, you need someone who not only cares about you passing your test and ensuring you know how to drive safe, but also someone who cares about you as a person; your interests, your personality, what’s going on in your life. I think it is safe to say that I chose right. I had Mark as my instructor and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to teach me how to drive safely and all the ins and outs about driving. There was not a single lesson that I didn’t feel comfortable or passionate about driving and thanks to Mark, I had the best possible experience when learning how to drive. Every lesson felt welcoming and there wasn’t a time where I couldn’t ask for help or feel uncomfortable about making a mistake. I expected my lessons and journey for learning how to drive to just be like any other lesson I have in which I would just learn how to drive. However, with Mark, there was a lot more to just a lesson. We had countless conversations about anything and everything and as time went on, I felt more and more comfortable and confident with driving as well as being able to have conversations and enjoy my lessons. The way the lessons were taught to me were very clear and easy to understand and pick up which made my driving experience a lot more successful. Fantastic experience: When choosing a drive school I was looking for a professional company who could cater for regular lessons at a time that suited me. Mark Jordan driving did this for me. My 2 hour slot went ahead every week as planned which gave me the consitancy to learn at a good pace. The discussion at the end of the lesson with my instructor Matt made me more confident for the following lesson and allowed me to be able to practice in my own car before hand. The demonstrations shown on the ipad were a clear and accurate method which I found really helpful. Before learning to drive I expected to be a really nervous driver, however, this was not the case. Matt gave me the confidence to trust in my decisions and not reach for the brake at any given moment and that is why I would recommend Mark Jordan driving.

Fantastic experience: When looking for a driving school, I wanted one everyone had passed with first time. When looking online I saw Mark Jordan and saw they’re amazing reviews. My instructor Richard was perfect I always felt reassured and supported even when I made mistakes. I never felt overwhelmed by what he was teaching me and he would always ask what I would want to do next and if I was happy with what we were doing. I had two hour lessons which were perfect as I would like to drive to burton from ashby. Richards teaching methods We’re great he would always tell me to pull over and then explain it to me on the iPad very clearly Richard was also a great laugh which helped the process. I’m so glad I picked mark jordan driving, I would not even think about using anyone else to get you to pass and to drive safely on the roads after you pass.

Fantastic experience: The most important criteria when choosing my instructor was having someone with patience and good recommendations that would be friendly and trustworthy and Mark certainly ticks all those boxes. Learning to drive was a lot more complicated than I expected and Mark reassured me and helped me practice until I got everything spot on every single time. Marks teaching methods were exceptional and he made sure that I felt super confident about every single aspect of driving so that on my test day I was confident and ready. I was always asked if there was any things I would want to cover before my lessons so that all the things I wasn’t confident about or worried about were covered. He also used email frequently to send me my driving notes (how I’d preformed in that particular lesson) so I’d know what to improve on and I could also see the improvements in particular areas of my driving and I’d know in advance what we were covering on the next lesson. Fantastic experience: After 2 previous instructors, I researched more into local instructors, Matt was a great instructor, his teaching style fit how I needed to learn and was always a great atmosphere in the lessons. We went back to basic to correct the bad habits from previous instructors and he helped to build my confidence behind the wheel. Overall very happy with Matt's guidance throughout the lessons. Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Richard . When I first set out finding a driving school to go with I was drawn in by the 5 star rating and first time pass rate at Mark Jordan's driving . When choosing the right driving instructor I wanted someone that I would feel comfortable with and have patiences , that's exactly what I fount Richard was easy to get along with made me feel at ease with any situation and remained calm even when i was flapping I liked the techniques that I was taught by Richard made life so much easier when learning to drive . Iv learned so much in so little time less than 3 months & I was already putting in for my practical test . Fantastic experience: When looking for a driving instructor for my daughter I wanted someone who came recommended, could be flexible in fitting in lessons in around school timetable and would give guidance on what to expect of the learning to drive experience. I wanted to find the right instructor first time. I found Mark Jordan Driving on google and was impressed by the genuine positive reviews from previous students. When I first made the enquiry the response was prompt and professional, Mark was really helpful in providing a lot of information and guidance and answered all our questions. Right from my daughters first lesson Mark gave clear instructions and guidance always explaining the reasoning behind them. Mark was happy to go at a pace that she was comfortable with and she found his calm approach gave her confidence. The feedback notes after each lesson were really useful for reflection. Fantastic experience: Learning to drive is an experience like no other, there are always ups and downs but every time my instructor, Richard, was there for me to give me praise when I did well and gave me help and guidance when it was needed. My nerves and confidence was a massive issue with driving but my instructor Richard put me at ease by talking through any issues that I had. I will definitely be recommending Mark Jordan Driving, as the teaching and support given is to such a high standard.

I also wanted an instructor who Taught me how to drive holistically and not just to the specifications of the test so that I would be a safe driver in the future. Fantastic experience: I was looking for a driving instructor that made me feel comfortable and at ease in quite a daunting situation. Mark made me feel comfortable straight away and I didn’t feel nervous for any of my driving lessons after meeting him. I wanted to make sure that I would become a safe driver and be confident in my own ability, Mark was very encouraging and would always assure me in what I was doing, or would provide help/advice in a way that did not feel negative. I was really nervous about learning to drive but Mark encouraged me throughout all my lessons and always made me feel capable. He would praise me when it was due but would instruct me nicely on what I needed to improve on. He would always go over anything that I asked for and would have a clear lesson structure which ensured I learned everything I needed to properly. I would definitely recommend Mark as a driving instructor as he is very patient and calm but he was very easy to chat to and always made me feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: It was important for me to find a driving instructor that I could feel relaxed with as I was nervous about learning to drive, Mark was really great at helping me boost my confidence on the road. It was also important that I would have the same instructor throughout my lessons at a time that suited me around working. Fantastic experience: Mark made me feel very safe and at home in the car, any faults I made out on the road was dealt with very calmly, I sometimes wondered how he stayed so calm. Mark teaches you in a way that is easy to understand and remember, for example he uses different anachronims to help you remember the correct sequence to deal with roundabouts etc. Also mark will personalise the driving experience to your needs and will go over anything you are not too sure on. He's a very easy person to get on with and is always up for a good laugh.
