Fantastic experience: The best driving instructor! I have had a few before and none of them compare to David. He has a professional yet relaxed approach that makes you feel at ease from the first lesson. I am an experienced driver (from another country) but saw myself improve on each lesson with David. Do not bother or waste money anywhere like I did. If you are looking for an instructor, start with JDS, it is simply the best!

Negative experience: How unprofessional the driving instructor whent passed a car that was just pulling away that had headlights on but cause they were bright he beeped the horn which is missuse of a horn which is an offence but when rang to say it wasn’t high been on he then answers his phone while there is a learner in the car which is there another offence bad driving instructor should know misuse of horn but clearly doesn’t

Fantastic experience: Can’t thank david enough for stepping in 5 days before my test after I was let down by another driving Instructor, I had 2 lessons and he was a brilliant man, very professional and really easy to get on with! Wished I’d of learnt to drive with him from the very beginning, but i passed 1st time

Teaching me from no prior driving experience, David always remained patient and took the time to clearly explain everything I did not understand. Fantastic experience: I got taught by David who was a brilliant instructor and enjoyed every lesson. He always asked if there was anything I wanted to practice and would spend as long as need on it. I passed with 0 minors and couldn’t of done it will all his help.

I reached out to him because I changed my exam from Harrogate to Darlington and needed lessons in the area to ensure that I passed. Although he was extremely busy, he was able to squeeze me in and sure enough- I passed! I am exceptionally grateful to David and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: David is the best instructor in Darlington, I passed earlier today and I couldn't have asked for a better person to teach me everything I needed to know. From the very first lesson he has made me feel comfortable and any mistakes I've made I've been able to correct immediately with his advice and guidance. If you don't know who to choose look no further than David and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I was a really nervous driver when I started but he gave me so much confidence through being so kind, patient and encouraging. Thanks to David I passed first time after 23 hours in the car. David made sure I was fully prepared for test day, and went above and beyond by offering extra lessons when I felt nervous beforehand and this made such a difference. Fantastic experience: Couldn't have been happier with how my lessons went! David was calm and an excellent teacher. I wasn't a fast learner, but in just a few months I went from having zero experience behind the wheel, to passing my test first time - and couldn't be happier I also highly recommend doing the pass plus course as it gave me the confidence for the motorway and country driving. Overall, I can't recommend David enough!

Fantastic experience: I put off learning to drive for too long, when I finally decided to learn David was recommended to be by a friend. I was incredibly nervous and found David SO patient and reassuring. At times when I particularly struggled, he was always the voice of encouragement. I was just getting the hang of it when Lockdown 1 hit. Resuming lessons between lockdowns made me more nervous, but David was the epitome of calm, reassurance and encouragement. Despite me being so anxious, I passed first time and I can't thank David enough for teaching me a new life skill. After passing, i completed the pass plus course with him, which I thoroughly enjoyed and have found it invaluable in building more confidence. I can not recommend David enough!

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend. David was very calming and patient (even when we forgot what time/day my lessons were! ), and explained everything in simple terms which made me feel comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and looked forward to them all. I’ve passed first time with not one single minor which is down to a good driving instructor. Throughout the lockdown David kept in touch and ensured I was updated, as soon as I was able to I was out driving again. If I was unsure of anything I just needed to ask and we would go over it until it clicked. Feedback after every lesson was constructive and pushed me on, and he is easy to talk to and nice and friendly. Thank you David you’re a great instructor and will definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Well where do I start Words will never be enough to thank you for everything you have done for me your calm and patient manner and your joking banter at the same time you made my confidence boost and made me believe in myself a whole lot more than I thought I could after being with two other instructors in the past and feeling like giving up on a lot of occasions , also after being disheartened serveal times by failing and figuring out finally what the problem was and how we could solve it and after all the hard work you never gave up on me you just pushed me to do it and I did 19th July best moment ever (the moment you finally got rid of me )!!! And to be honest I still can’t belive it now but if your looking for someone who will believe in you and never give up then David is defiantly the driving instructor to choose amazing !!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter took lessons from David after being with two other driving schools. She learned a lot but when she came to the driving test she was a nervous wreck and failed on several occasions. This did not put David off and he persevered until she finally passed. I cannot speak more highly of this instructor and say Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant instructor! Questionable jokes though! :) I couldn't recommend David more to anyone looking to learn to drive. After working with David for a couple of months I recently passed my test with only 2 minors!

Fantastic experience: David is a great driving instructor, boosts up your confidence and knows your weaknesses in the first lesson and focuses on them thereafter. He gave me a 1 month timeline which I followed and cleared the test with a blank sheet. Thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: David is a great instructor. I previously had a driving instructor who did not teach me to drive safely. David focused on this and made me a very safe and confident driver which allowed me to pass my test with one minor. Every minute spent in the car with David was great, he is great to talk to and will keep you very calm. You can tell he is very passionate about his job. Definitely the best driving instructor around!

David was excellent at keeping me calm and correct and kept on teaching me throughout my lessons. Fantastic experience: David was an excellent driving instructor who was always friendly, funny and patient with me. When I started I had never driven a car before and by the time I got to my test I passed first time with zero faults. I would definitely recommend David to anyone learning to drive.
