Fantastic experience: In my experience, the word that best describes Russel’s teaching style is METHODICAL, he is patient and doesn’t “jump ahead” (which I tended to do, but he rightly pulled me back). For an overthinker like myself, it helped massively that Russel explained elements of theory alongside the practical bit, providing rationales to help me understand why and how to drive safely. I had some driving experience when we started, and initially I thought we were moving at a slow pace, but that paid off in the end. Taking it step by step, Russel helped me identify my gaps, deconstruct the bad habits, and thus form a solid base. Once that happened, everything clicked nicely, and my husband (with whom I had been driving in between lessons) noticed a sudden increase in confidence and precision, so I went for a test during which I heard Russel’s voice helping me avoid each potential mistake (that I would’ve made in the past). And…voila! …a full driving license and so many Scottish places to discover (this is me driving back from Kelburn Castle). Let the adventure begin! Massive thanks, Russel and keep up the good work!

Positive experience: My Driving instructor is a very nice person by name Russel. He is very professional with his job and always teaches from the scratch basis, depending on your experience. He taught me from the scratch and nearly upto the standard to go for my test but for some reasons i switched over to Automatic lessons which i have been finding ok due to the basis he taught me. But i would still come bact to continue with him at some point for the Manual driving lessons in order to do my test fingers crossed i will pass it.
