Fantastic experience: Despite 9 years and 90,000 km of driving experience in India, I quickly realised I had much to learn about UK roads. Solo has been brilliant at identifying exactly what needed rectifying in my driving technique. His patient, supportive approach and keen eye for detail have been invaluable. Solo creates a warm, friendly atmosphere whilst maintaining professionalism and clear instruction. I'm still taking lessons with him and continue to see improvement with each session. For anyone transitioning to UK driving or complete beginners, Solo is an excellent choice - highly recommended!

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with Soleiman at Solo School of Motoring and feel obligated to warn other learners—especially international students—before booking with him. I signed up specifically for an intensive driving course, which he confirmed multiple times. An intensive course should cover everything needed for the test—maneuvers, parking, test route preparation—within a short time frame. After more than 16 hours of lessons, none of this had been covered. The pace was slow, disorganized, and completely contrary to what was promised. The lessons themselves were also incredibly stressful and unpleasant. He frequently yelled, gave wrong instructions, and showed no patience or understanding, even though I clearly explained that I’m an international student with no prior experience driving in the UK. The environment was tense and unprofessional throughout. After deciding to cancel future lessons, I requested a refund for the remaining hours. At first, he agreed to a partial refund—but when I mentioned I had reported his conduct to the DVSA, he threatened to withhold all refund money unless I withdrew my complaint. This is totally unacceptable and shows a clear lack of professionalism and accountability. This experience has wasted my time and money, delayed my test, and caused serious frustration. I truly believe this instructor is taking advantage of vulnerable students, especially those unfamiliar with the UK system.

Hi Victor, sad to see you filled that you were treated wrong, Im afraid I never offer intensive services, that's driving more hours in a day occasionally 6 hrs or more, yes I did offered you 2 times 4hrs with 30 minutes break because you wish to end the course earlier, on average men need to cover 40 to 50 hrs in UK to cover all topics plus at least 20hrs driving independent, I did mention you personally after 16hrs that you have covered 30% of course and still more topics to cover ( the are 28 different skills ) the way you think that intensive courses is designed to learn in short frames including manuring, driving in deferent traffic conditions you are totally wrong sorry. Because driving is live skills and we as a professional can't do DIY cut short because the candidate struggles during the test and beyond passing specially the first 3 years to decrease the chances to make from event non event. unfortunately after passing your theory test you booked your test with out mentioning me and that put you in pressure.
Yes occasionally if things explained and give you commentary feedbacks as you adapting the new skills once you not performing as it should be the obviously the tone of every instructor will changes slightly to show that you need do as expecting for UK test standards that's not yelling.

By the time you mentioned that you have raised complaints to DVSA normally hold every party to see the outcome then refund the unused hours.

Hopefully you have better understanding now, it was better to have answered my phone calls I made to discuss. Thanks again and this makes me more motivated to clarify with someone who doesn't know the UK RULES next time. Wishing you the best. Kind regards

Fantastic experience: Best driving instructor if you want to learn driving or want to improve your skills. He understood what my level of driving is on the first assessment drive and pointed of exactly what I'm doing wrong, what I'm good at and how to improve. I saw much important on my first session. Will be doing more. Highly recommended
