Negative experience: This instructor is a terrible instructor. He is negative and insulting I requested to Satnav driving, he never had that, terrible mistake and loss of my money

Fantastic experience: Noel is a good instructor and I would highly recommend him. I never driven a car before going to Noel. He taught me from scratch and moulded me as a good driver today. I have just passed the test on first attempt in Ireland (moved out of the UK a few years ago). Whatever he taught has helped me and he teaches a lot of good practise. Thanks Noel.

Positive experience: Noel was a great instructor. He made sure I knew what to do and gave me sound advice for my test. I only gave him 4 stars because sometimes he may not respond to my messages promptly. Other than that, the driving experience was great!

Negative experience: Driving instructor booked for 10:00am , had it all arranged on texts & phone. On the day he forgot, I called him and he told me he will come for 12:00am instead, already unreliable then at 12:00 he calls to tell me that he has he friends in the car and that I should come outside and thats he’s going to drop them off, and that I should come to car. He wanted me to sit in the car while he drops off his friends? Unprofessional... honestly such a waste time of time. He also told me to come into the main road rather than parking outside my house because he couldn’t be bothered to go around the one way... I can’t actually believe he is the number that this page goes to when you go to book your driving lessons, such a waste of time Wouldn’t call the number , waste of time

Negative experience: Noel fit me into his schedule on short notice and I’m very appreciative of that, however I really don’t believe he is a good instructor if you already know how to drive and just want some refreshers, as he will aggressively try to make you forget everything you know and learn his specific way of driving. After two lessons with Noel I’d completely lost all confidence and wanted to cancel my test, but afterwards I took two more lessons with another instructor and managed to pass my test with almost no faults.

Fantastic experience: The best thing about Noel was his flexibility. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, I needed an instructor for some refresher lessons and my driving test at a very short notice. And Noel managed his diary to accommodate me. The lessons that I took with him before the test was also very flexibly arranged. And he happily agreed to have me change from manual transmission to automatic transmission as well. During lessons, while Noel does push his pupils - he has a strong ability to identify the bad practices that stem from habit. This was particularly true for me as I have long driving experience, but not in UK. Identifying those bad practices were crucial as it enabled me to work on them. The test route familiarization drills and his suggestions for improvements have proved very helpful. Thanks to Noel, I passed the test. I will recommend Noel as an instructor to everyone. HE JUST REPLIED SAYING HE NEVER HAD A STUDENT CALLED "NANA" MR INSTRUCTOR!! I DONT NEED MY ID OR PASSPORT TO CREATE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT! YOU CAN USE ANY NAME U WISH. JUST LIKE THE FAKE ACCOUNTS GIVING YOU GOOD REVIEWS.

Negative experience: 2nd Update (11.11.2020) - Response to owner's v.delayed response - I agree situation was disorganised and communication was poor, and lessons were discontinued. Update 2018: texted me at 3am to tell me to get a life. Message received! Not organised at all. Took forever to reply to texts, made arranging lessons very difficult. Had 3 lessons with him and quality of teaching was not great; no structured plan for improvements, and no theory discussion before attempting junctions. Perhaps a good driver for some people but for me this was a bit of a mess really!

Fantastic experience: Noel is a very patient, knowledgeable instructor and I would recommend him to any first time learner, or to someone as myself who needed refresher lessons after a long absence from driving.

Fantastic experience: Best driving instructor in reading area. I have been making many mistakes in driving in my wife’s car. After taking taking few lesson from this No-L I have became much better in driving. He is calm and his teaching technique are unique. I have recently passed my driving test with only 3 minors. Highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Great Instructor! Coming from US, driving here was a bit complicated for me. With just 3 sessions with No-L Driving School I managed to pass my exam with just 2 minors. The instructor is a bit harsh in the lessons especially when repeating same mistakes, but definitely this boosted my confidence. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving instructions from a very experienced driving instructor. Able to pass my theory and practical test the first time around with flying colours. I began lessons from learning biting point and was taught everything in between to pass my test. Clear instructions and crucially, very patient. Very happy and impressed with his service. He was also happy to teach important manoeuvres not on the test, which I really appreciated. If you're ready to learn, you will learn fast with him. I passed first time, and I've continued with Noel for after-test lessons.

Fantastic experience: Detail oriented. Initially I felt that it was too much of information back to back and it was getting difficult to follow them, in the allowed time. However, later with the learning, things started becoming more visible and instructions felt much more simpler to follow. Noel is very calm and points out the area of improvement, you would not be interrupted if you are on the right track. Also, I believe it is much smoother a process when you message him, well before your session. Thanks Noel..

Fantastic experience: I just want to say how lucky i am to have had noel as my instructor he is amazing and i would highly recommend him, he helped me over come all of the manoeuvres and i couldn't have past my driving test with out his help, inshallah you will be rewarded for all that you do thank you sooo sooo much noel. :)

Negative experience: Didn't get my lesson that I was hoping for. I booked online for Saturday but he never came so I called him up. He said that the website had a fault and he would arrange the lesson later. I text him asking when the lesson is and he says Sunday, I wait till Sunday and he still doesn't come and is now ignoring my texts. I am now using a different driving school. I am very disappointed as this was a highly recommended school but the service I got was poor.

Fantastic experience: The best instructor in Reading.This man has patience with learners. He restored my confidence after failing as well as loosing a lot of money from other instructors. I'm always recommending him to others and and please they all come back to me happy after passing

Negative experience: Had my appoitment at 5:30 no one showed up and i didnt know whats happening as no one was picking up the phone to get information . Very disappointed as i thought this driving school would be good.

Fantastic experience: Noel is such a good instructor. He is very patient, calm and encouraging which is good especially if your driving for the first time. Like what the rest have mentioned, He doesn't waste time by repeating the things you already know. He helps build up your confidence and competence by helping you improve your skills by tailoring his lessons to your driving needs. For the four sessions (8 Hours) that I have the pleasure of learning from Him, I definitely learned and enjoy all of it. I highly recommend him for those who plan on learning how to drive.
