Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible, reliable, easy to understand lessons, helped me past first time.

Fantastic experience: ive just passed my test today & i had lucy has my driving instructor, she is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable and relaxed whilst having my lessons. i’d reccomend her to new learners as she puts you at ease and is a great instructor!

Negative experience: Nice enough lady but does not care. Just wants the money.. learnt more in an hour with a new instructor then I did with her on like 6 lessons… just always driving around the same bit.. nowhere ever near the town I was doing a test in.. learning nothing like mirrors, signaling, pulling up etc. she mentioned about doing certain exercises on our next lesson but that wouldn’t happen. She would also cancel and tell me about cancelling on others. She told me to book a test and due to her teaching and cancelling it resulted in me having to cancel my test. Her nails and hair extensions are more important. I had 2 girls work for me and they both was with Lucy.. I’m sure they’d agree and they reported her themself. After reporting and an investigation taking place.. the guy mentioned she’s had way too many chances and it’s not the first complaint.. funny how she’s still working there now

Not only did she take me from being a nervous driver, to a confident and safe driver, but she also made lessons extremely enjoyable and laidback. Fantastic experience: After putting off driving because of nerves and anxiety I finally took the plunge and booked some lessons with Lucy. She immediately put my mind at rest and I felt totally relaxed with her. Within 4 1/2 months I was ready for my test. Lucy was professional but also great fun to learn with. Always on time and done her best to fit me in whenever she could. Would recommend her to everyone.

Negative experience: This school is terrible, let’s you drive to Greg to pickup sausage rolls or to the garage to pickup snack for the instructor. Lots of chat about nails and drinking, not so much on helping you drive, park, or being safe. A waste of money.

Fantastic experience: My experience with DLA was positive, Lucy, my instructor, was always very reliable and knowledgeable. For someone who works a lot of hours she is always very positive and makes you feel relaxed while driving so nerves are never an issue. I recommend Lucy at DLA to anyone looking to learn to drive. Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend learning with DLA and especially Matt who has been a great help throughout the process of learning to drive. Matt would always push me to achieve more when he knew I could achieve it. He always made me feel comfortable and made all lessons enjoyable and fun. Thanks again for helping me pass first time!

Fantastic experience: I'd highly recommend Lucy as a driving instructor. I started my lessons with Lucy three months before planning to go to university with the worry of not being able to pass my test during this time. Lucy was understanding towards my situation and reassured me that I could pass within this time by creating an action plan of how to encourage me to become more confident and aware on the road.
