Fantastic experience: Shantelle was great!! I’d been trying to get my licence for a number of years and had been an anxious learner. Shantelle is patient, takes time to work on the root causes of your errors and explain the “why”. This helped things stick in my mind and become routine. Coming up to my test, Shantelle helped build up my confidence which meant that I was relaxed on test day and passed with only 3 minors. I would definitely recommend Shantelle to anyone learning to drive. Especially if you’ve struggled previously.

Fantastic experience: After having lessons with a few different manual instructors I started with Jenny at DLA driving doing automatic driving lessons. I was an extremely nervous student in a car, Jenny was absolutely fantastic she was so patient with me and took her time to build my confidence while giving me the gentle nudge I needed to do things she knew I could achieve. With how nervous I was I didn’t in a million years think I would take a driving test let along passing first time with 2 minor faults. A huge thank you to Jenny at DLA driving I would highly recommend Jenny.

Fantastic experience: I had Janine as my driving instructor for a year before I passed. She helped me from beginning to end and taught me everything I know. She has been amazing and I would recommend her to everyone I know. She constantly made the lessons easy and is very understanding of mistakes.

Fantastic experience: I had my driving lessons with Tony, who was an amazing instructor. Tony helped me to build up my confidence very quickly. With his support, I passed the test in my first attempt. I am greatful to Tony for helping me to achieve that and fully recommend Tony and DLA driving school to anyone who wants to start their driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: Passed first time today with just two minors . Switched driving instructors a couple months before my test due to frustrations, finally settling on Gary at DLA . My driving progressed enormously in two months under Gary's calm and informative teaching. Teaching you how to drive and understand the car and the road not just to pass . I honestly don't think I would have passed first time with anyone else and would recommend him to anyone who was looking for driving lessons .

Fantastic experience: Hi Darren jen was absolutely brilliant with me on my journey and supportive. I was very nervous when i first started doing automatic and jen put me at ease. Fantastic experience: Moska has to be one of the best if not the best instructor that I could've had. In my ~35 hours of practice with her, she has made sure to teach me everything about driving in depth with her very calm and likeable demeanour and way of teaching resulting in me passing my driving exam 1st try with ONLY 1 minor fault. Would highly recommend DLA Driving School and especially Moska as an instructor. Thank you very much to Moska and DLA Driving School for assisting me in achieving a huge milestone.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Jenny enough! From day one she put me at ease and over time made me enjoy driving. Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Raymond. From my first lesson with Ray I was instantly at ease, whenever I had a question (no matter how stupid) he’d take time to answer and explain it. When doing manoeuvres he went through them thoroughly and I got the hang of them fairly quickly, and he even incorporated them into future lessons which means I kept improving on them. On the day of my test we went over the show me tell me questions again to make sure I remembered everything and I managed to pass first time! I can’t thank Ray enough and it was great learning with him, I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

I managed to pass my test first time after having lessons for just four weeks. Angela taught me how to drive safely and correctly and feel confident whilst driving. He clearly explained anything that went wrong and how I could improve. Fantastic experience: My instructor was Eddie, and honestly all I want to say is a huge thank you to him. I thought when I got an instructor that it was going to be a long process but I only did 11 lessons with Eddie and with his help I managed to pass my test 1st time. He was very friendly, welcoming and professional. He always let me know when I made mistake and always made sure to teach me how to correct it. He was also very patient and kind which I’m sure you can imagine are requirements with learner drivers. He was a great instructor and the techniques he taught me will definitely be remembered. Fantastic experience: I had Darren as my instructor from DLA, right from the first lesson he had a calm atmosphere in the car making me feel safe and confident. All the chats about Tom Hanks at the football and the chaotic holidays from your youth helped more than you know. He is a great driving instructor and wouldn’t have passed without him. Negative experience: Very unprofessional. I won't recommend at all. I have completed the booking form and got a message from DLA whit the instructor name . I have called Edy and spoke whit him about my experience and when I am available. He said he will call me back but he never did. It was either because I have no experience as a driver or that I am foreigner or both.

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous about driving. Robert has been so kind and took it really slow with me until I was comfortable and confident. Robert is really kind and calm throughout his lessons. It's nice to feel happy with your teacher and have a bit of a laugh at times too. He isn't strict and grumpy. He is friendly and helps adapt lessons to your learning, which is a breath of fresh air from a pupil perspective as it isn't sticking to generic guidelines because we all learn differently. I highly highly recommend Robert. I have recommended Robert to people too. I am very pleased I've finally found an instructor I've clicked with and feel safe enough to learn in and comfortable. Robert is highly recommended for the job!
