Fantastic experience: Garry is absolutely amazing!!!!! I learnt with him before COVID and even though I have been driving with family, the tips and advice he gave me was still present in my mind. I loved his use of mnemonics and analogies as it allows me to remember information better. He explained information so efficiently and allowed me to be a significantly better driver. He is so patient and calm. Thank you so much for your time Garry!!!

Negative experience: My instructor Peter cancelled my first lesson a day before. He then also cancelled my second lesson 5 minutes before apparently due to a flat tire on the way to me. The third time he also cancelled because he finally decided to actually check my location and tell me I am out of his area. He didn’t think to check this when he first contacted me 2 months prior to this when I gave him my address. Awful service and would not recommend to anybody.

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my experience with anyone wanting to take driving lessons. I had first started learning to drive on automatic and I thought I could never drive manual cars. Peter Cartwright was recommended to me and I decided to give it a go. Peter has always been amazing, supportive and patiente with me. I have learned a lot with him and finally passed my driving test with him today. A big thank you to Peter for being a great instructor. I honestly cannot recommend Peter enough.

Negative experience: My old instructor Garry Arrowsmith was a terrible instructor. He communicated and explained poorly, also made me feel anxious for when I had my driving lessons to the point where I told my friends I hated driving. He panicked more than I would at times which furthered my panic. I learned very little during our lessons and spent a lot of money (I even didn't finish my 10 hour block because I couldn't stand to endure another lesson). I'm now with a new driving instructor and I've learned so much more quickly and look forward to and enjoy my lessons. I'd highly reccommend NOT choosing Garry as a driving instructor and instead pick another instuctor, even if they charge a little more. Honestly this was a horrible start to my driving lessons. Garry would also be unprofessional answering calls during my lessons, also being sexist toward female drivers during my lessons and trying to justify this with psychology. J

Fantastic experience: I contacted Garry after some bad experiences with the first instructor that I had that had left me with zero confidence. Garry was patient and gradually built my confidence back up again to the point where I had true belief in my ability to drive (this was very much under scrutiny on test day lol). That being said, Garry repeatedly reminded me of his belief in me and this helped a lot. To anyone that struggles with test day conditions and feeling overwhelming nerves(as I did), Garry will calmly talk you through the process and help put you at ease. Thanks Garry, we got there in the end lol.

Fantastic experience: Driving instructor Peter has a unique way of making the process of learning both enjoyable and stress free, with this mans guidence i past 1st time on an extended test, thanks Peter for everything.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend IN2GEAR. My instructor Dom was patient, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, having a great knowledge of the test and the local area. After four weeks of semi-intensive lessons I passed first time today. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Garry Arrowsmith is a very professional and competent instructor, he increased my confidence enormously so I was able to pass my test. I'd had five instructors before Garry who were all very critical and negative. Garry, on the other hand, knows when to give praise and when constructive criticism is necessary which helped me build up my confidence on the road and develop my driving skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to pass their test.

Negative experience: I very rarely feel the need to leave formal reviews but in this scenario I feel it best to make people aware of this appalling driving school. my driving instructor Lee encouraged me to book a test date only to tell me two weeks away from my test that he was going to be moving away so would not be able to see me through my test. I had been learning with In2Gear for over a year and despite Dom the boss being given 6 weeks notice from my instructor Lee, I was only given 2 weeks notice before he left Stoke-on-Trent. I was unable to find another instructor in time to take my test and had to find another instructor and work towards a new test date 8 weeks later than had previously been booked. A deceitful, untrustworthy and unprincipled driving school.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommended in2gear to anyone who’s thinking of learning to drive! My instructor Peter Cartwright was fantastic!! Very patient and excellent to get along with and made you feel nice a relax behind the wheel. Thank you Peter for helping me getting my pass!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dom, very accommodating of particular circumstances. Very good teaching style with booklet to further understanding. Enabled a first time pass, could not recommend more highly.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time, with only 2 minor faults. It must be said by a lot of pupils, but I really couldn't have done it without my instructor, Garry. Not just because he can teach people how to drive, but because he tailors each lesson to your needs, your individual strengths, weaknesses, and worries. I've had lessons with other instructors before but given up- However Garry has always been understanding, helpful, and genuinely caring- and I think it's what got me through this time. There wasn't a single lesson where I didn't get out of the car feeling like i'd accomplished something, and I felt great every time I'd been out on the road with him. I cannot thank him enough, and I really will be recommending In2Gear in the future- and it's all thanks to Garry.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say that Garry Arrowsmith was the best driving instructor ever! He's so helpful, has so many diagrams and is the most patient person I have ever met! He gives his all and makes sure you understand everything completely without trying to rush you through everything! I had some lessons before I had met Garry with other instructors but never really felt like I was getting the help I needed until I started with him! I honestly don't think I could have passed without him! Recommend 100%!!!

Fantastic experience: Prior to my lessons with Garry, I'd had a year break from my lessons - so it's safe to say I was nervous getting back into it! But Garry was so lovely and patient and gave me the confidence I needed to be comfortable behind the wheel. He's got lots of diagrams and videos and extra resources to help you outside of your lessons as well, so the quality of his tuition is phenomenal. I'd like to thank Garry again for all of his support and let him know I couldn't have done it without him!

Fantastic experience: I can't give higher praise. I'm not a young driver and Dom got me from first lesson to pass in 26 hours with the added difficulty that I was commuting back from Hong Kong a few days per month in order to do this in the early mornings. A great style of teaching, calm methodical easy to understand ideas for all aspects of the test and with an emphasis on safety.

Positive experience: I have loved learning with Garry Arrowsmith, every lesson was different and you could really feel your progression each week. He makes sure that you're safe on the road and are aware of everything around you! He teaches you to drive for life and not just pass your test. Overall an amazing instructor and brilliant experience.

Fantastic experience: What can I say? I passed today and it took me totally by surprise! My instructor Peter Cartwright is an absolute credit to this company. When i first started I was such a nervous driver, but his amazing personality soon got me to be at ease. Learning with Pete was like catching up with a really good friend once a week and I will certainly miss our weekly catch ups! I could not have passed without Pete, I would recommend him to anyone! He was with me every step of the way. As I've said before, he's an absolute credit to this company. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend in2gear enough! I was taught by Garry and he is absolutely amazing. I was in great need when I came to him after being taught previously by another instructor unsuccessfully. After only an hour with Garry I was overjoyed by the quality of teaching I received. Not only was Garry encouraging and highly supportive but he put 1000 percent into ensuring I passed my test (and I did with only 2 minors). It was a pleasure to have been taught by such a genuinely lovely man! If you are in need of lessons, go with in2gear you will not regret it. Top quality teaching with the best instructor! Negative experience: Didn't like much about it. My driving instructor was unnerving and creepy. He did everything to convince me I needed two hour lessons because I lived in Stone when other schools assured me a one hour lesson would be fine and when I cancelled lessons due to illness, I was bombarded by phone calls and text messages trying to get me to rebook with them even though I was plainly uninterested. It's put me off learning completely now.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test today with Garry. He's been absolutely fantastic over the past few months.He has helped me tremendously with my driving skills and be it approaching a roundabout or performing a parallel park, I will never forget his advice! The whole IN2GEAR team have made this process run smoothly from the first inquiry to my actual test day. Fantastic experience: I have passed my test today under the instruction of Garry and I cannot recommend him enough. He has been superb at understanding my requirements and adapting to my own learning style each step of the way. Fantastic experience: I would just like to start off that I am very pleased with the customer service I recieved from IN2GEAR from the first time I rang up to enquire about my lessons to my very last lesson (sadly). My instructor Garry was absolutely brilliant, very formal and professional, easy to get along with and there was never a quiet moment which was great as he was always telling me information relevant to either the theory or practical test. Garry reassured me every step of the way and he went out of his way a lot to help me (e.g. doing work at home to bring to the next lesson), I was that satisfied that I am recommending my sister to IN2GEAR who wants to learn to drive in the forthcoming months. Just consider me one very happy satisfied customer who is going to miss their lessons!

Fantastic experience: I moved to the UK in 2007 and so had to learn all the rules of the road from scratch. Garry was my driving instructor and he was very good - he's extremely patient and a good teacher. I've just passed my test with just 2 minor faults.

He helped me learn to drive in just under 3 months because I wanted to pass before my theory test date expired- and I did! Fantastic experience: Finding the time to plan driving lessons around full time work is difficult, Martin was happy to fit me in and start from the ground up.
