Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience learning to drive with Chris, he came highly recommended from family and I couldn't be happier! Despite never having driven at all before and being a little bit older than the average student he was patient with me as I learned from scratch and supported me the whole way, taking the time to listen to any of my questions and concerns and working with me to understand my thought processes and how to approach different things I was struggling with. He was honest and open with me about how I was doing and any mistakes I made, but never made me feel self conscious, and I felt I could trust him completely to tell me if and when I would be ready for my test without pressuring me, and happily I passed first time thanks to his support and help. I couldn't have done it without him and had a great time learning! I could not recommend Kellett's more for anyone learning to drive!

Fantastic experience: I came to Chris from a recommendation. From the very first lesson Chris made me feel at ease and having attempted lessons before with great anxiety and apprehension I started to really enjoy driving of which I hadn't previously. Chris bought out my confidence with each and every lesson that went by. Chris is so professional and reliable. At the end of each lesson we discussed my progress through the app you download which was so useful to me as it has so much really handy information on, such as top tips and theory/practical information. It also enabled me to work out what areas of driving I needed more work on. Chris would concentrate on these areas until he was sure we'd got them right :) I genuinely can't speak higher of Chris - we always had a laugh and his way of teaching bought me skills for life, not just to enable me to pass my test. I can't thank him enough.

Fantastic experience: An amazing driving school with an instructor that puts so much time and effort into making sure that his students are more than ready to take their driving test. Fantastic experience: Chris is a phenomenal driving instructor! Throughout my whole learning process, he has been kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I have learnt to be a very safe driver and enjoyed every single lesson I have taken with him. He is nothing but supportive and encouraging and everything you hope your driving instructor will be. From having bad experiences with other driving schools also I just cannot recommend Chris enough, he got me through my test with 0 minors which I never thought possible at the beginning of my training with him. Through struggles he supported me and believed in me and we have overcome any obstacle thrown our way (we had many throughout the pandemic!) and had lots of laughs along the way! Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Mark Sims and Kellett's Driving School for his amazing teaching, he was friendly, helpful and provided an excellent insight into all the intricacies of driving. Due to this it helped build my confidence on the road as well as providing me with the necessary skills to succeed on the road. Fantastic experience: Fantastic service with friendly, down to earth, humorous, and patient instruction. I passed first time (with only 1 minor) as a direct result of grade A training. The entire learning experience was calm and collected with no unnecessary pressure and I can honestly say that choosing Kellett’s was an excellent decision. If you go for a manual transmission license, Mark is a thoroughly top instructor with plenty a great advice and techniques that will help you to learn and ultimately pass. I highly recommend Kellett’s.

Fantastic experience: Having driven with a number of instructors, I can confidently say that Chris Kellett is brilliant at what he does. I mean this not just in terms of practical teaching but also in providing the emotional advice and support which is often equally crucial for learner drivers. Chris somehow manages to remain calm in the car whilst teaching all aspects of driving needed to be safe on the road and to pass the test! As a sufferer of anxiety, I am particularly grateful for the patience and understanding he showed to me through the most difficult points of the journey. Fantastic experience: I rencently moved down to the Blackpool area with some previous driving experience, but was completely unfamiliar with the routes used on test. In under 3 months, Mark has managed to help me not only learn the area but also shore up a number of weaknesses in my driving. I found Mark to be a very supportive and patient teacher. In addition to helping you pass year test, Kellet's helps with a number of other things, from fuelling a car to learning how to cope with distractions while driving. I would highly reccomend Kellet's to anyone looking to learn to drive in and around Blackpool.

There is nobody that I will not be recommending Chris too when considering to learn to drive. His approach to learning is at the forefront of technology, efficient and effective. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic driving school. I had been with a few others prior to trying Kellett's and have never met such a friendly and patient instructor who really knows what they're doing. I felt completely comfortable right from the start (after being quite a nervous driver previously) and this really boosted my confidence. In only 22 hours I've managed to pass with Kellett's and would recommend that anyone looking to learn to drive should definitely send them a message straight away. I am so grateful for everything! :)

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Chris and Kellett’s Driving School that hasn't already been said?! I consider myself lucky to have had Chris as my instructor; not only has he been a superb teacher but he's been a great friend and support to me achieving my driving licence. Chris has taken a complete beginner and moulded me into a safe, confident, considerate and well rounded driver. There has never been a moment of impatience, condescension, frustration or anger… from Chris anyway; you'll be hard pushed to find any learner that doesn't lose their cool on Bispham roundabout when they turn on the headlights, windscreen washers/wipers and every other signal but the indicators! The car is always immaculate and well prepared, teaching tools such as iPad and instruction books engaging & helpful, and the online learning tools away from the practical lessons are incredibly helpful and in depth. I cannot recommend Kellett's Driving School enough! I'm so happy I chose to learn with Chris and pass my test first time. I'm going to miss our conversations and jokes… obviously when it's appropriate and not when I've left the handbrake on and wondering why the bloody thing won't move?! Thank you so much Chris.

Fantastic experience: During my time learning at Kellet’s Driving school I have had both Chris and Mark as instructors and I couldn’t have wished for a better pair. Both Chris and Mark are ‘A’ grade instructors, but that would be pointless without the A grade service that they deliver each lesson with. They are both incredibly passionate instructors and that can clearly be seen in their teaching! Chris and Mark always planned my lessons so that I always felt I got the most out of the session, both skills and money wise! I never felt rushed or pressured to do manoeuvres before I was ready and I felt completely in control of every lesson I had. Despite the prospect of me learning to drive was daunting at first, they were so reassuring and there is no chance that I would have nearly as much confidence on the road without their constant help and support! Now that I’ve passed, I’m going to miss having lessons. Because as well as each lesson being specifically suited to myself and improving my skills, the relaxed atmosphere meant that that during the months I’ve been with them, the lessons have been laughter filled and despite me being perfectionist I’ve learnt to let my mistake go and never feel disheartened. Although I haven’t experienced teaching at a different driving school, through speaking to other friends that are learning to drive, it is clear that Kellet’s driving school is in a completely better league than the rest of the driving schools on the Fylde Coast and I’d even go as far as saying in the North west! You simply don’t get the level of teaching, laughter and excellence anywhere else. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been learning to drive with Chris for just under a year now and have just passed my test first time under his guidance. Based off my time with Chris I can say that he is hands down one of if not the best driving instructor in the north west. His knowledge and attention to detail in lessons are second to none which guarantees you take something away from each lesson. Fantastic experience: Learning to drive……A memorable experience I will never forget! It can be a very scary and daunting experience especially if you have never been in the driver’s seat before, however, Chris makes you feel very welcome, safe and relaxed from your first lesson to the last. Learning to drive isn’t a fast process and can take many months to master but not once did he lose his patience or temper with anything that happened, even if I did get a little close to a car or repeatedly indicated the wrong way because I apparently didn’t know my left from my right. He was very consistent in everything he did and was very patient if it took a little longer to understand things, he tailors all lessons to the student’s ability and goes along at a pace you are comfortable with, giving you as much time and practice as you may need. It’s like most things in life the more practice you get the easier it becomes. I would recommend Chris to anyone wanting to take driving lessons because he goes above and beyond to ensure that when you go for your test you are more than ready. He stands out from many driving schools because of the extra mile that he goes such as the reflective log he does after the end of each lesson. It is very beneficial as you can see how you are progressing and where you maybe need to focus on for your next lesson or if you are driving outside of tuition. Fantastic experience: The thought of learning to drive can be daunting, but having Chris as my instructor actually made the whole experience very enjoyable! His friendly manner put me at ease straight away and through all my lessons his patience and calm attitude didn’t waver once. After spending my hard earned money on driving lessons with a previous instructor, who made me dread our lessons together, the prospect of me ever having a driving license was honestly unimaginable. So eventually I got to the point where I was just too scared to get in the driver’s seat again. I was so disappointed in myself, as it was completely out of character for me to give up. Roughly 4 months later my dad was speaking to Chris Kellett who immediately said, “I’ll get her passed.” So with much nagging and encouragement I agreed to have a lesson- Thank God I did. Chris has been an amazing teacher and so supportive throughout the last few months. I am so grateful for his belief in me and his informed and structured guidance. All this has led to me becoming self-confident and more importantly, an independently SAFE driver.
