Negative experience: EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE TOWARDS WOMEN. I would give a ‘0’ if it allowed me. David is extremely inappropriate towards women. He would asked me ‘how my nipples were’ & would brush my leg / touch my shoulders. Other women have reported similar things if you look at his negative reviews. DO NOT USE HIM. He should be struck off.

Fantastic experience: Dave is a great driving instructor. He’s very patient and calmed my anxiety. I can’t recommend him enough. Top bloke! Reasonable prices and very flexible, and I passed first time!

Negative experience: Dave was terrible, always falling asleep in lessons and stroking my leg every-time I made a mistake saying “its ok baby” he then liked to comment on girls behind which was weird.- Alex astill

Negative experience: Awfully inappropriate conversation during a lesson. Within ~10 hours of lessons, Dave thought it was a wise idea to comment on the large breasts of a female pedestrian, asking me if I’ve ‘ever had my face in a pair that big’. Plenty of decent instructors around who aren’t spitting such sludge

Fantastic experience: We got in touch with Dave because we were impressed by the many positive online reviews. Dave makes his lessons feel easy-going, and he is very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. He wants the best for all of his pupils and doesn't want them to dwell on things they feel have gone wrong. Negative experience: Very rude and unprofessional attitude

Fantastic experience: Had my first of many lessons with dave and he made me feel at such ease whilst driving. I’m thought I was nervous behind a wheel at first but he soon made me realise it was all in my head and installed so much confidence in me, he’s very patient and understanding and tells great but bad dad jokes lol can’t recommended him enough. Amazing

Fantastic experience: Dave is an amazing driving instructor!!! I previously had a teacher who taught me lots of bad habits but Dave immediately saw them and knew how to correct them! I passed first time within 2 months of having him as a teacher, and afterwards I did my pass plus course with him. Dave is a very helpful instructor and I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with him -despite the bad jokes...! ☺️ Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Dave is an absolutely amazing instructor and I can't thank him enough. I never felt that he was teaching me too slowly or too quickly and found that when there was a particular section I found difficult, he adjusted the day's lesson so that I could iron out my mistakes. Of Dave's many incredible qualities, one of them was his ability to remain calm at all times which really improved both my abilities and my confidence. I can't recommend Dave enough.

(36 reviews and 5 star all round, c'mon it's clear) Dave is an excellent instructor who can not only teach you to drive flawlessly but make lessons fun and enjoyable at the same time. I felt confident and comfortable driving in no time due to Dave's experience at providing outstanding tuition and his friendly/funny nature. I passed first time which i can only thank him for. Best instructor going, seriously.

Fantastic experience: Dave is a brilliant driving instructor. His teaching methods and approach are second to none and he really makes his lessons enjoyable. Every lesson is about you as an individual and about what you feel you need to do to pass as well as using his own expertise to guide you through the learning process as quick as you are comfortable with. His main focus is creating a driver that can tackle any aspect of driving, rather than just teaching to nail the test. I would recommend Dave to anyone; not only was he a brilliant instructor he is also someone I would happily go for a beer with in the future.

Fantastic experience: Dave is definitely a great instructor. He knows what is required of you to become a GOOD DRIVER, not just pass your test. He always thinks of ways to create an easy-going environment by implementing the best techniques for driving and manouvers, as well as talking to you about anything and everything (and throwing some dad-jokes in). The lessons are interesting and enjoyable; Dave encourages his pupils to ask questions about any issues they might have, and always provides a summary of the lesson at the end, telling you what you did good and what you need to improve. Dave is easy going and always ready to answer questions even outside of the lessons. I would definitely recommend him if you want to learn to be a good, patient and relaxed driver.

Fantastic experience: Amazing to have passed with Dave, he's has been an amazing instructor who you quickly become friends with. Very reliable and cracks a few jokes here and there to keep you entertained on your lessons no matter what the weather's saying. He's able to see if you're having a tough time and adjusts his approach in his lessons to accommodate for all. Overall, thrilled to have had him as my tutor and wish him the best in the future

Fantastic experience: I passed my practical test this morning and am thrilled! (first time ) Dave was such a reassuring presence and very calm. He made me feel really confident and at ease. Always gave constructive feedback and I worked on it during every lesson with his help. He always calmly talks you through manoeuvres, what to do and which thought process to have when approaching an 'obstacle'. This really helped me memorize all the little important things! There was never a dull conversation topic and he's just a really genuinely good (and funny) driving instructor! The car is a nice and easy car to drive and his lessons are very reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend!

He helped become a confident driver, if you want an instructor whose friendly and knows how to have laugh i would definitely recommend Avago Driving School. Iam happy that I passed today but quite sad to be leaving David now he was truly an amazing driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Dave was absolutely brilliant as a driving instructor! Always patient, extremely friendly and more importantly knows exactly what he's doing! Every question I ever had was always answered thoroughly so I understood it completely which made me even more confident as a learner and even more so now that I have passed my test with virtually flying colours (I had virtually no mistakes which was fab!) and I have Dave to thank for that. As my lessons began I was very nervous but he built my confidence up at my own pace and taught me very well. Even when driving situations were difficult he always knows how to deal with them and to help you get the best of your tuition (learning from any mistakes) would recommend him to anyone and already have done so! Keep up the great work Dave! Gonna miss you :D
