Fantastic experience: Phil was the most amazing driving instructor and the most amazing person, he is incredibly experienced, calm and positive. He teaches in a way that you learn quickly and is always enjoyable! He made me past first time and I honestly would recommend him to anyone who is learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Phil was very very informative on our lessons, and took me from a beginner to road confident very quickly. He was great at correcting my mistakes in a constructive and gentle way, and I never felt too overwhelmed or upset when I did make mistakes, which was my main worry coming into learning to drive. I passed with 2 minors and the test felt easy after the lessons I had with Phil, and I will remember the information / techniques I learned in these lessons for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: Before taking lessons with Phil my daughter had failed my driving test 5 times with quite a few majors and minors. She started lessons with Phil in November 2022. It’s now January 2023 and she passed the driving test with only 4 minors. He’s an excellent driving instructor and really helped correct her bad driving habits and become confident but safe on the roads.

I first had lessons with another driving teacher but was not able to improve much -- this quickly changed once I started classes with Phil. Fantastic experience: Phil is an excellent driving instructor, he's got a very calm relaxing demeanour, at no point in any of my lessons did he ever raise his voice. His instruction was always clear and concise and he doesn't overload you with information. Phil was always punctual for lessons and never once late. His car is also a dream to drive and very forgiving. I passed my test today in my own car with only 1 minor and I couldn't have done it without the expert help from Phil. I'd highly recommend Phil to anyone looking for a driving instructor in the Dorking area.

Fantastic experience: Phil is a great guy and an experienced driving professional! I took lessons with him back in 2017 after changing instructors. He was much more patient with me than my previous instructor and was diligent in showing me exactly the steps I needed to take to pass the test. Even when I picked the lessons back up in 2021 and had to re-introduce myself to a few manoeuvres he was calm and let me practice as much as I wanted to get it right. Phil is also very accommodating with his time slots, and will prioritise his current pupils over newer ones, which always made life much easier. Needless to say, I put the hours in and passed the practical first time with only two minors! Phil is not only an amazing instructor, but he’s someone who’s always there for a chat about life, driving or Jeremy Clarkson’s “The Farm”! Even to this day his voice is in my head telling me to “raise my vision”! Highly recommend him to anyone who needs a calming presence who knows the ropes of the examining system in the passenger seat.
