Fantastic experience: I had my driving test today and passed with 7 minors. My examiner Becky is the absolute best examiner I have encountered! she was so nice and friendly yet very professional. Initially, I was quite tense due to the fact that passing this test is very important for the next phase of my life. Becky’s calm and friendly attitude really reassured and helped to calm my nerves down. thank you so much Becky.

Fantastic experience: First of all, I would like to let everyone know that I passed my test with only two minor on my first ever attempt . I took my driving test in Upton yesterday and I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to my examiner, “Tracy”. From the moment I met her, she was professional and courteous. She explained the test procedure clearly, which helped to ease my nerves. During the test, the examiner gave clear and concise instructions, allowing me to focus on my driving. Even when I made a small mistake, she remained calm and objective. After the test, the feedback given was constructive and helpful, highlighting my strengths and areas for improvement. The examiner created a respectful and relaxed atmosphere, which made the whole experience much less stressful. I felt that she conducted the test fairly and professionally. I highly recommend this test centre and the examiner (Tracy) to any learner. Thank you for making my driving test experience a positive one.

Fantastic experience: Excellent very friendly and professional staff

Negative experience: After waiting 3 months for the test appointment, driving an hour and a half, and both missing work, we arrived and they rescheduled my wife's test. They had no consideration for what we had to sacrifice and arranged to make the test and gave us no warning ahead. How can there be no backup? Totally unacceptable.

Negative experience: A bunch of liars, they demand that you drive perfectly, they see how most people drive on the road, they are lying to themselves and to others, you know very well that no one drives that way after the exam, Why you push people to pretend during the test? If you have that high standards, why ppl drivs crazy, didn’t you ask your self.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at Upton Test Centre today! Got Tracey who immediately put me at ease, which resulted in some of the best driving I have displayed since my first lessons due to the lack of nerves. Thank you to all the lovely staff, you’ve given me my independence ❤️

Fantastic experience: Steve was my Examiner. This was my second attempt (after failing at another centre recently) and thankfully, turned out to be my last one. Within a few minutes of my time with him, I started to feel calm and the nerves started to ease off. I told myself, regardless of the outcome, I will write a review about this extremely positive experience. He went in to every detail on my minor faults during the debrief session which is so important. Thank you Steve and my friend/ guide Jimmy :)

Fantastic experience: Amazing I must say! My examiner is a STAR!! Difference between having 12 minors and 2 majors in my first test and having only 2 minors had all to do with my examiner. For someone that has been driving for almost 20 years, the word TEST made me a nervous wreck, I failed my first test in another center due to nervousness and the examiner couldn’t be bothered. But today, Becky made a difference, she calmed me down, brought in positive energy into the driving test and was so professional. In her words, driving tests don’t have to be a horrible experience. Honestly even if I didn’t pass today, I would have still been grateful. But thankfully, I did. Becky… you are the best there is.

Negative experience: At least extend some customer service to these poor kids when you fail them! I get the reasons why but at least be polite and courteous to them so it doesn’t put them off trying again!

Negative experience: Disgusting attitude from the examiner. I had a man called Dave, he failed me and his attitude stunk. After he told me I had ten minors and 2 serious faults. Which I accepted and wasn’t going to dispute but wanted to just let him know I went wrong I politely said can I just explain something. Thats when his attitude really annoyed me. He said abruptly “I don’t want to know!” That quiet upset me instead of saying something like “sorry I haven’t got time or you need to speak to your instructor” I wasn’t going to let him get away with speaking like that when I was more than polite. I started explaining about the serious faults. He simply said on a satnav issue “you were asleep at the wheel you weren’t concentrating, there wasn’t anything wrong with the satnav” which I was concentrating but the turning came up late on the satnav and it was hard to look for as it was right on a bend. Other issue was at a traffic light turning he shouted you could have got 2 cars in that space plenty of room! In my view there wasn’t but he wasn’t having it. GOOD LOOK IF YOU GET DAVE A MAN WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR MANNERS!

Negative experience: Pete who is the driving examiner needs to learn how to speak to people and be more professional after the way he spoke to my daughter and knocked her confidence , because he had a bad day and where was ya high viz and seat belt???

Negative experience: Not a centre to pass for young drivers. The lady examiner who is over five foot tall with white hair was my driving examiner: As everyone knows there are road works near the test centre now and there were road signs suggesting to go at max speed 20 mph due to skid risk and she failed me stating that I had to go at 30mph. And also said that I was checking blind spots too many times - is this real ??

Fantastic experience: Honestly, this is a lovely test centre and the examiners are very good and honest with you, and gives you a fair results. Thank god that I passed for the first time and I really enjoyed doing it and the time literally went by so fast I barely felt like it’s a driving test. Just make sure to not panic or over stress be confident or if you can’t, and you feel stressed out then just try to at least show the examiner that you are confident about what you doing, you could as well have small talk with your examiner but not too much as it might distract you. Wish the best for all of you and I would definitely recommend this test centre
