Fantastic experience: Sophie is undoubtedly the BEST instructor I’ve met. From the moment I met her, I felt instantly comfortable. She explains everything so well, and doesn’t make you feel bad for little mistakes. Sophie has a waiting list, but trust me it’s so worth getting yourself on it - if you’re hoping to drive in the near future. Whilst waiting for Sophie’s availability I did some practice driving in my own car with my husband. This built up my confidence enough so that by the time I met Sophie, she was happy to book me in for my test. I had 1 lesson a week for 6 weeks and passed my driving test today, first time with 1 minor! I put driving off for so long, after learning when I was 17 and having instructors who’d make me cry, or made me feel like I would never be ready. Sophie had confidence in me from the first day we met and honestly, I cannot thank her enough!!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to write this review years ago but never got round to it. I had a different driving instructor before Sophie who did not want to teach me any longer as he thought my driving wasn't great. I found Sophie and I realised the problem was the instructor and not me. She was very patient and very good at showing me how to drive. She did a mock driving test lesson before my exam and it really whipped me into shape. I passed first time thanks to Sophie.

Fantastic experience: Sophie is a brillIant driving instructor. She gave me the competence and confidence I needed to pass my test first time. Without her patient help there’s absolutely no way I’d have done so. She was unlike other instructors I tried: she’s incredibly patient with errors, never loses her cool, never intervenes unless she absolutely has to, and is very generous with her time, never wasting it repeating minor stuff. She is also a lovely person to boot. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience I had under the teaching & guidance of Sophie & passed my Test in under 20 driving hours . Was a bit sceptical about changing from Manual to Automatic but its soo much easier . Sophie let you learn at your own pace & will always accommodate . Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Late into my 20's, driving always seemed like a daunting and sometimes even impossible goal. I passed my test a few weeks ago (first time) and that is 100% due to Sophie. Aside from just being a lovely and positive person Sophie really has her instruction down. As a teacher myself, I really valued how each lesson always had a target and she uses visuals to help you learn the manoeuvres. She also has great online videos that really helped me with both the driving and theory aspects. I went through a few instructors until I finally found Sophie, she is a true gem!

Fantastic experience: Sophie has been really supportive and guided me in the best possible manner. She was able to quickly spot my struggles and push me to become confident with my choices. After 3 previous instructors and two failed test, I passed the 1st time with Sophie after 15 lessons.

She never once made me feel silly if I did something wrong or made me feel nervous. She's down to earth and funny but most importantly she knows what she's talking about- an A class instructor. Fantastic experience: My wife had driven for some years in another country but failed her practical driving test here so she had lessons with Sophie. Sophie was so kind, patient and helpful in showing my wife what she needed to do to pass the practical test which she then did easily. My wife found her a wonderful teacher. An amazing instructor!!!

Fantastic experience: Two tests and even more instructors later, while in a state of hopelessness, Sophie astonished me by not only helping me discover a comfort zone I never realised I had, of which passing my test was a direct result, but also enabled me to be a safer driver like no one before. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She will cover manual & automatic, lend you an entire folder full of information on driving, encourage you to bravely stick to your comfort zone during the test and be vocal throughout, prioritise you around test dates and help you become a better driver by making you practice what you least like (or fear most) when you least expect it. I could not have done this without her!

Fantastic experience: Until I met Sophie, I spent the good part of twelve years paying grumpy old men to decimate my character in the confines of a car. No, this wasn't a fetish -- it was my real life experience of driving lessons. I know what you're thinking, twelve years? Well, in what should've been three months (had I kept an eye on my speed) Sophie helped me pass in four -- living proof that using any other instructor was a complete waste of money. Always willing to go the extra mile; be it lending revision materials or offering to sit in on a first motorway drive, Sophie is everything you could ever want in an instructor and then some! She's cool, calm, friendly, nurturing...hilarious -- I can't recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience: Sophie is absolutely AMAZING. I have been taking lessons with Sophie for a bit over two months and I passed with my first try. She is very clear in explaining everything. She is patient because I must have asked her the same question over a million times, but never once did she get annoyed with me asking questions. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I loved all of our chats together. I was not confident in my driving to be honest but after only taking about 15 lessons and passing with only one try.... I can definitely say.... she is pretty darn good. HIGHLY recommend her ;)

Fantastic experience: This is a review long over due as I took lessons with Sophie back in 2013 and passed the test early 2014. My journey was a tough one as I stopped my lessons when I was pregnant and had to continue few months after the baby was born.. When I called Sophie to enquire about re-starting my lessons and the possibility of taking my little one along on some occasions, I was very sceptical but Sophie was so encouraging and understanding of my situation that I became fully determined to take lessons and pass the test as soon as possible! One of the few instructors who were ready to accommodate my constantly changing lesson timings and other limitations. Her teaching style is different too and she was very honest and direct about any feedback at the same time encouraged practice privately outside of her lessons which most instructors discourage as that would mean less money for them. So all in all I highly recommend Sophie's driving school. Thank you Sophie for all your help and for teaching me to drive! - Shilpa, learned whilst living in Watford in 2013 and 2014.

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my driving test, thanks to Sophie! Great instructor, made sure I always had the full lesson time even when I was late, due to having to commute from London a lot. Really enjoyed her lessons, and now feel confident driving (which is definitely needed in London!). Would recommend to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I took around 25 classes with Sophie for my first driving test and passed it first time. This was the first time I have been driving in the UK and was completely new to the driving conditions having driven very rarely in India before. She has been a great teacher and has been always patient everytime I made mistakes during the classes. Her approach to driving is completely different and she does that best. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I started learning to drive 3 years ago but then didn't carry on until I met Sophie. She is simply the best instructor I've met with the right teaching attitude, she gets on with it with PATIENCE, humour & expertise. She wont even give up on you even if you give up yourself! Fantastic experience: Sophie is a great Instructor, she knows what she does. I passed my test 1st time within 2.5mnths on dec 3rd. Although i dint have the confidence i would do it. But Sophie didn't stop from inspiring me to do my best. As many have already specified it, she has a different approach of teaching. she analyses your weakness and strength and motivates and teaches you to improve on your mistakes. she makes sure you get it right and will not let you go until you get it :-). overall it was a great experience learning to drive with Sophie and I would recommend her to every one as shes done a great job.

Fantastic experience: I have started taking lessons with Sophie I have got no driving experience. She was very calm, patient and professional instructor. I was very nervous at the start. She will quickly tailored the lessons based on my individual needs. I have passed my test in second attempt. Now I have got a car and driving with confidence. Fantastic experience: I have been driving for a long time but not in the UK and was unlucky to get a lousy instructor first time around and failed. Then a friend recommended Sophie who turned out to b a natural at what she does and she does it with grace and panache.She quickly understands the areas that need to be worked on and effectively ensures that u understand what ur doing wrong. I passed my test today and for that I give full credit to Sophie.
