Fantastic experience: I’ve been driving for close to 3 years and finally passed today with the help of Matt. He is by far the most clear, helpful and understanding instructor there is and I couldn’t recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: Matt is a wonderful driving instructor, very clear about where you need to improve and makes you feel at ease when behind the wheel. John Harvey Driving school is great as well, easy website booking and zero hassle using online.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend JHDS enough. Gary was a great instructor. Patient, kind and so knowledgeable. As a nervous person, I was worried about learning to drive but Gary was always able to help me through any issues I was having. His way of teaching really helped me understand roadcraft in a natural and easy way. I could not have asked for a better teacher! Passing my driving test has opened up so many doors for me and has given me my freedom. I cannot wait to get on the road!

Fantastic experience: Passed my test and couldn’t thank Matt enough. After having a few bad test experiences and getting extremely nervous for my next test, I changed instructors to Matt. He helped with my confidence and teaches safe, real-life driving. His lessons and the way he teaches really changed the way I drove and now feel fully confident to drive by myself. Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school all round. Very short time to get started, despite the fact that I worked 9-5 weekdays. Jarno has been an absolutely class act all along, taking me from someone that didn’t really want to drive and was incredibly nervous, to someone who actually quite enjoys it! Great flexibility for other commitments, very reliable and punctual for all lessons. Jarno struck a perfect balance between pushing me out of my comfort zone and developing how I needed, alongside accommodating any concerns and limitations I had along the way. He’s also got an excellent character and was incredibly easy to get along with, whilst always making me feel safe and trusted to drive and grow my ability behind the wheel. I felt perfectly prepared for my test, which came at the right time for me, and I was able to pass first time. Would highly recommend to anyone, and have already done so to a number of prospective learners. Thanks Jarno!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test first time with zero faults thanks to my fabulous instructor Jarno. I was so anxious learning to drive, but he was so patient, understanding and took lots of time with me to make sure I knew I was sure of what to do. He was so brilliant! Fantastic experience: I can't rate my driving instructor, Jarno, highly enough. I started lessons in November at 40 years old and having never sat behind the wheel of a car before. Jarno was so patient and made me feel at ease from the off. I'm delighted to have passed my test today on the first go and it's all down to Jarno and his teaching skills. Fantastic experience: I passed my Driving test today, first time with only 1 minor fault. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole learning and driving experience as a whole, with my instructor Matt. His friendly persona meant I was able to be calm and not worry abut judgement, and he was firm but fair, so that I would could learn in the most precise and accurate way possible. 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Changed instructors after failing my first test, and it made such a difference! Matt was a great instructor, and really focussed on helping me understand the roads better and how to be a safer driver rather than just getting me to jump through hoops to pass the test. He focussed on helping me drive slower and more controlled, I’m so much more confident now.

Fantastic experience: I've just Passed my driving test with Matt at The John Harvey Driving School today! I would recommend Matt to anyone in the Herne Bay/Whitstable Area as he is calm, patient and has an attention to detail in polishing up my driving. Matt helped and supported me with my forward Bay parking as I found this manoeuvre tricky. Typically this was the manoeuvre I had to do on my test....... And I did it with 0 driver faults! Thanks Matt, I will miss my lessons now I've passed!
