Fantastic experience: Simon is a fantastic, highly-professional instructor and his teaching methods encouraged me to feel motivated, inspired and completely in control of my driving journey. Simon was personable, honest and his passion for driving allowed me to feel confident in the car, beyond just ticking the boxes for the test! His range of cars were always clean, comfortable and in top-shape... He also offered a range of really helpful online and printed resources in our lessons, too! Fantastic experience: I recently passed my test first time with life skills driving school. Simon was a fantastic instructor always very calm and made me feel very comfortable in the car. My lessons were always on time and he taught me a lot more then just the basics to pass the test. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had an amazing experience with this instructor. Every lesson has been specifically tailored to my needs and has been genuinely useful for developing my skills. I felt engaged and looked forward to every lesson. He has been very friendly and has also shown great patience with me when in the beginning it took a while to grasp concepts. I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone starting out, especially nervous drivers. And big thanks now that I have passed!!!

Fantastic experience: ITS A PASSS! The last few weeks/months learning to drive with Simon had been the most enjoyable time & well spent money! He’s so professional & chatty , EXTRA patient & show great knowledge to the road - always pushing you but letting you hit them goals in your own time , if you need to repeat or go over things again and again , he will allow it! SAFETY IN DRIVING is the main KEY! And without Simon I wouldn’t have been able to do it! All the key booklet pack you get given has everything you need to know in order to pass your THEORY & PRACTICAL! I would 100% recommend Simon to absolutely everybody! Honestly this guy is GREAT! Fantastic experience: I've known Simon for many years and I've always said the day I'm ready to do my test he is the man I'm going to. I had 5 hours in total with Simon, I can honestly say I felt really relaxed and chilled out on my lessons, he is genuinely there to help if you need it. I had my test today (13th march) I was so nervous and anxious and within 5 mins of a normal lesson he calmed me down to the point I wanted to go straight to the test centre. When we arrived at the test centre, he was still giving me gentle bits of advice while keeping my nerves calm. Long story short. If he has availability, I would highly highly recommend Simon. Most down to earth instructor I've had. Thank you so much Simon, I appreciate all the things I learnt in our few lessons and I will definitely be recommending you to everyone, so get some spaces free haha

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Simon enough! I have already recommended him to family and friends who want to learn. Simon not only taught me all the skills I needed to pass my test but also taught me how to be come a safe and confident driver (which is something I never thought I would be) after doing lessons with a different teacher when I was 17 that didn’t work out I was put off driving completely for five years but was suggested Simon by a family member and he made me feel comfortable and ready straight away. The resources he gives you as well as use of the website and app is all so helpful and the summery of each lesson is great to look back on a see what you have accomplished. Overall I had the best experience and would recommend him to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Achieved my first time pass with Simon today. Simon has been an absolutely brilliant instructor! He is very knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and kind. Always on time and very professional. I never felt pressured or judged at any point which really put my "driving anxiety" at ease. I feel like I have the necessary skills to overcome most situations I'll face on the road ahead!

Fantastic experience: I started my lessons with another driving school but after being let down I found Simon, from the start he was very patient with me and eased my anxiety by cracking jokes or just having a general chat, and made me feel like I was driving with a friend or family member, I have done over 50 hours with Simon, good and bad lessons from me but it has made me more aware of my driving even if I had to do a whole lesson on one subject he got me through it, as much as it has cost me a lot of money it was worth it to now be on the road on my own to have my own journeys, I'm going to miss our random conversations and jokes, but I'm sure I will see you around on my own travels, thank you soo much for helping me with passing my test. The best instructor around totally worth it :) and I will definitely not miss that squeeky toy when I forget my mirrors ( well I won't forget them now as all I'll hear in my head is that squeek ha ha) again thank you

Fantastic experience: Officially passed first time today after lots and lots of reasons to stop over the years. From a young age I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and let it get in the way of a lot of things.. especially driving, with a huge amount of support from Simon throughout every hurdle and every reason to stop he always encouraged me to keep going, today his effort in keeping me determined to drive finally paid off..today is the start of a whole new beginning but it’s also a closed door on letting my anxieties stop me from achieving life goals. Simon you really have created a whole new mentality on how I see driving and life itself. You’ve taught me to me sooo much in the time I spent with you but most importantly you taught me to believe in myself and todays achievement is not only a pass, it’s point proven that with the right support and advice I can achieve anything I focus on. The patience you’ve had with me over the time I’ve been with you is amazing.. you’ve stopped me giving up so many times and really have done everything in your power to get rid of every single hurdle, letting me make mistakes to understand myself why it’s important not to make them, letting me do the same manoeuvre over and over until I felt completely comfortable with being asked to do it out in real life, understanding my struggles with childcare and always being so understanding and helpful, even helping me keep calm after home issues so I could fully focus, you’ve been the best role model, teacher and friend and I really am and will forever be so grateful, Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Simon who was my driving instructor for 50 hours, was very patient and understanding. He understood when he needed to re-teach the driving skill, or be patient and allow me to learn how to fix my mistake on my own. The main reason why I chose this driving instructor is that the price was affordable for me, as I was paying for my lessons. Simon wasn't always serious, which is what I liked. His sense of humour made me comfortable when driving, as I then didn't panic or over stress about my mistake's all the time. Even though Simon is a driving instructor, he also helped me with my theory test. So, he is very flexible to fit the lesson around what help the learner needs as well. Simon also helped me find and book my driving test. Through using life skills driving school, I had a goal in mind and that was to pass my test before the next college year started, and thanks to Simon's help I was able to pass my driving test first time. Thank you Simon

Fantastic experience: My wife was an extremely nervous learner and after trying a few instructors we came across Simon @ Life Skills. He was very calming from the start and managed to fully relax my wife while panicky and pregnant on many occasions. After various breaks during CVD lockdowns he quickly got her back up to scratch each lesson and rapidly progressed her to passing her test. A genuinely reliable, caring instructor who's proudly focused on progressing you to be a knowledgeable and safe driver. Thanks Simon

Fantastic experience: The most important thing to say is that I passed first time :) Every lesson, what we plan to do is well outlined and how to approach new situations is explained in detail. If you make a mistake, Simon is very clam to explain how to change to improve next time. The key principle is that you learn how to drive in real life, not just for your test. We have covered multi-story car parks, country roads and motorways in details which you wouldn’t get from a different instructor. I’d recommend for anyone who is a complete beginner, or this who are already driving but want to improve their confidence in the road.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test back in July with Life skills driving school. Simon was brilliant throughout my lessons and my test not helping in the car but out the car also. I must of started ages ago and not that my driving wasn't up to standard but personal issues, covid among over stuff hampered my driving. However throughout all of this Simon was very helpful with all aspects of the driving with reassurance and professionalism. I can't thank Simon enough for everything and getting me and my lil family on the road. Not only a great driving instructor but a great bloke as well.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of learning with Simon, whom was understanding and patient with me, after my confusion of coming from a moterbike to a car. He was happy to answer questions outside of lesson hours aswell, and is still happy to help out his students even after they've passed their tests, weather it's by text or call. Would highly recommend him in regards to lessons.

Fantastic experience: After 3 different driving instructors I found Simon! Life saver I had really struggled to feel confident and comfortable with other but Simon made every lesson and test feel chilled relaxed for the first time I was looking forward to my driving lessons, his skills and knowledge are second to none! Learning while having a good laugh and being safe all at the same time is the best way to do it. He's brilliant at his job! I can't recommend Simon enough he's a star and I can't thank him enough for the skills freedom and confidence he has gave me! If I could give him more then 5 stars I would!
