Fantastic experience: Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah Today I have passed my driving Test. One of the long desires for everyone. I have done it, one go. Thank you Steve for teaching me. You was the best instroctor, with patience. I have took 11 class , 22 hours traing with Steve. If anyone follows your teaching and Instroctor properly and fully they gonna pass, In Shaa Allah . Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time all thanks to Steve's patience and calming personality, His ability to teach and boost the confidence of a nervous driver is impressive. Fantastic experience: I started my driving lessons with Steve in September 2023 and passed the test first time in August 2024, for which I’m so grateful. Steve is a very experienced instructor. As an older learner, I was slow to grasp the skills needed, but he was patient and always explained things professionally in great detail to teach me to be a safe driver on the road. He showed me so many roundabouts etc. on Google Maps! Steve was very responsible and reliable. He always picked me up on time in the morning. During the 2-hour driving lessons, he didn’t waste a minute of driving time. He was always there to give correction, prompting or nodding and praising. He is the best driving instructor in BCP! I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone needing a good driving instructor. ----Yali

Fantastic experience: Passed with only 3 minors yesterday at Poole test centre, thanks so much Steve! Steve is an excellent instructor and will help you keep calm under pressure and understand the right thought processes to have while making safe decisions on the road. I've had a lot of instructors, only Steve gave me the driving confidence I needed to pass.

Negative experience: After emailing to enquire, steve mentioned his hourly rate is 42 pounds per hour, which would highly indicate you charge an hourly rate. However he won't teach hourly lessons? This doesn't make any sense. Also you will find no mention of price on his website which is also odd. Why mention you charge £42 per hour in the first place if you won't give people an hour lesson. Your communication from the start hadn't been great either. I have been in contact with other instructors and all will offer discounts on blocks and absolutely do 1 hour lessons so I'll be going with one of them. In addition you came across very blunt and rude over email ignoring anything that meant it would be slightly cheaper for me as the paying customer. Quite frankly, I'm not surprised you have availability straight away. you charge an absolute fortune in this case and don't even offer any sort of discount if someone pays upfront for multiple lessons which I was prepared to do. There is absolutely no need for 2 hours lessons every week which would mean every lesson is £84 pounds. You also ignored every email In which I kept mentioning I could only do 1 hour lessons where you kept insisting on 2 hours without any clarification on your end that you won't commit to 1 hour lessons. and when you finally acknowledged I only wanted 1 hour lessons, you bluntly disregarded everything we agreed and without any compromise or conversation/explanation as to why you can't teach hourly you told me you can no longer help me... Just like that. You've come across very poorly here and greedy which doesn't look good on your part. A bit of good customer service goes a long way but also just being a bit nicer when you write to people by email who actually want your services would do you better. Unfortunately not a great experience for me.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant instructor, thorough and patient, incredibly reliable. Overall a great person to learn with, friendly and couldn't recommend him more to anyone wanting to learn how to drive!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, was always putting my niece down in her driving instead of encouraging her, she’d let him know she was working today and he still showed up for a lesson and then cancelled on her completely telling her to find a new instructor. Avoid.

He was an incredible instructor, very calm and always lovely no matter the scenario and I wouldn’t of passed first time without him! A huge thank you Steve!

Fantastic experience: Had a great driving experience with Steve - he's patient, calm and understanding and made me reflect on the things I was worried about, such as worrying about holding up traffic as a learner, and tackling busy roads. Fantastic experience: I studied under Steve just over 2 years ago, to this day he is still one of the most competent drivers I have ever ridden with and that extends to his teaching ability. He is extremely calm and patient, he extends himself to discover the best methods of teaching his students personally and their learning style. He's a great communicator and can narrow down issues very quickly and help you get up to speed in areas you might be finding difficult. If I had to learn again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Kinghams. Cheers Steve!

Fantastic experience: Steve is a fantastic driving instructor, he doesn't just simply go through the motions of just driving around and doing manoeuvres as previous instructors did with me, but really focusses on your weaknesses and tailors his learning technique to your learning style by inquisitive conversation and observation, digging out the root causes of why you may be doing things a certain way and modifying his teachings to suit. Needless to say, these are the traits of a highly skilled instructor and I couldn't recommend him more! Plus, on top of that, he's a really good bloke and a good laugh! Thank you Steve for getting me my well overdue pass!

Fantastic experience: Steve is without doubt imho the benchmark for all driving instructors to strive to reach. He is patient, knowledgeable and extremely experienced in how to train you to become a good confident driver and most importantly he explains clearly and concisely how to drive well and pass your test with confidence. After the issues with a previous instructor my confidence was low and after only a few lessons I felt both my confidence and my awareness had improved dramatically. Fantastic experience: A very enjoyable 2 month crash course. Steve is very quick at acknowledging your weaknesses and teaches you overcome them swiftly. He is very thorough with his explanations. Very calm and considerate when you make errors and uses his experience to tackle complications. He makes you feel at ease behind the wheel, highly recommended for anyone learning!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Kinghams Driving School from young learner drivers to old learner drivers alike. Representing the latter at mid forty I thought my luck in the world had all ran out having tried different driving schools and having no luck at passing the actual driving test. You know that typical feeling when you are 'stuck in a rut' dreaming of the day when you are ultimately out of it. Well that day has come and it wouldn't have been possible for me to write this review had I been there still. Thanks a lot Steve. Luck that comes with 'learning to do the right thing' is the best teaching point I gained from you and you have taught me well to make a big difference by passing the driving test especially at such time when I almost given up hope that I could make it.

Fantastic experience: Our son had a university placement to undertake which involved some driving. The only problem was that he hadn't yet learned to drive! Steve Kingham taught him with patience and skill, leading to him passing his test at the first attempt. All this was accomplished within a short space of time, with the minimum of stress due to Steve's calm approach and excellent tuition.
