Fantastic experience: My grandson passed his driv8ng test this week as a result of having lessons with John. He has some driving lessons with another instructor but my grandson was making little or no progress and he was being told he would never pass. John explained every instruction he gave and we are delighted to recommend him as an instructor. Thanks a million John.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently passed her driving test with john’s help, After several lessons(& missed appointments)with another driving school, John was like a breath of fresh air. Very reliable and patient and very easy to get along with, my daughter looked forward to her lessons every week. I can’t recommend John highly enough and my son will be taking lessons with him once he’s 17.

Fantastic experience: Learning from John was an absolute pleasure and he took me from an incredibly anxious beginner to a confident driver and I sincerely looked forward to our lessons every week! John’s teaching is some of the best I could hope for. He explains things patiently and makes all the confusing parts very digestible and easy to understand. I passed first time and I’m actually a bit sad because now I won’t be learning from such a great guy! If you come across John’s school, please take lessons from him, I really can’t imagine you’d find better anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I booked refresher lessons with John after not driving for over ten years. I had completely lost my confidence and was incredibly nervous to get back in front of the wheel. John was reliable, patient, calm, and clear with his instructions. If we encountered any issues, he would always take the time to explain what had happened (and why) and then build my confidence to face the situation again. Thanks to John's help, I was able to not only get back in the car with an instructor beside me, but am now able to safely get out and about on my own as well. I couldn't have got to this point without him.

Fantastic experience: If you want to learn from the best then John is your guy . Seriously don’t bother to look for different instructor. I am so glad I took lessons with him which recommended by a friend of mine and He helped me passed my first time, 31 years old ,never driven before .Listen to Him and do your homework. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend John enough as an instructor. As a 31 year old who had never driven a car before I was extremely nervous and doubtful I would ever learn to drive. After my 1st lesson with John I started to believe it would be possible. Fast forward 6 months I managed to pass my test 1st time! John made sure I was ready well before time and went over every little detail before the test. He took me on the actual test routes and I couldn't have been more confident come test day. I had even had a month gap between my last lesson and the test as I had moved house but John made sure he made time so we had a few hours practice before the test. John is such a calm composed instructor I never felt under pressure and was always confident in my driving with John in the car. John is a lovely man and I wish him and his business every success in the world!

I went from having no knowledge of driving to passing first time thanks to John. Coming up to my test he took the time to go over all the things I was concerned about until I was confident. Fantastic experience: My 17 daughter did her research before choosing her driving instructor and she definitely made the right choice choosing Styles Steering. . Today, after 8 months, she passed with no faults at all! John is patient, honest and so supportive. He made time to speak to me before her lessons started and each week gave great written feedback and things she could work on inbetween lessons. Fantastic experience: I passed my manual driving test first time this week and I am very grateful for all of John's support, from my first driving lesson just after my 17th birthday right up to my driving test. He always made sure I understood everything and really helped to build my confidence on the roads. He was always encouraging and patient, especially when it came to improving my reversing skills! Fantastic experience: It was a pleasure working with John through out the past few years. When covid forced people to cancel their tests and learning lessons and we had to wait for months in able to get back to it, John was there to help me out on the lessons and I’ve learnt from his suggestions and advices very easily. Fantastic experience: Haven't driven in 10 years so needed refresher training after purchasing my first car. John helped me get my confidence back with just a few lessons! He was very patient, calm and explained everything so clearly therefore made everything easy to understand. Also left notes at the end of each lesson to go back to in order to work on it on the next lesson. Will definitely be coming back for more hours to further improve my confidence.

Fantastic experience: I recently had some refresher lessons with John as it had been a number of years since I’d driven. John was very friendly and calm and he helped me build up my confidence on the road in preparation for getting my first car. John was very helpful in answering my questions and helped make driving enjoyable and stress-free.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to John 2 weeks before taking my manual driving test. I had previously passed with an automatic licence but I was struggling to get my head around manual driving. John was extremely patient and because of all that he taught me in only 3 lessons, I was able to pass my manual driving test with one minor. A big thanks to John (and his lovely wife that I initially spoke to!!) I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to learn how to drive with a safe, calm and knowledgeable driving instructor to reach out to John!
