Just Jeff School of Motoring

Positive experience: Relocated to Dorking and I had two lessons with Jeff. The first ended with the last 30 minutes upset and crying which is not usual for me and has never happened with another instructor. The second was better. Jeff last said to me before Christmas that he'd be in touch in the new year after his holiday to let me know his availability but he has never got in touch again. Luckily I've found a driving instructor since then who has been incredibly good at making me feel at ease, is calm and has given me my confidence back.

Fantastic experience: I was a very anxious learner before I came to Jeff. He had a calm and fun approach to teaching, which helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and get me test ready! He really took the time to explain things in detail and work on my weaker areas. Great instructor, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I rang Jeff to see if he would be able to help my 18year old daughter continue to learn to drive since her usual instructor was just too unreliable. Jeff managed to squeeze Poppy in to his busy schedule and arranged weekly double lessons, working towards the test date in early February. He is professional, helpful, methodical in his approach to what needs to be taught and easy to talk to. He let us know when it was time for us to ramp up the extra driving and parking practice and was so helpful taking Poppy to Redhill test centre on the day, letting her use his car to do the test in and driving her home. Poppy passed first time. An excellent driving instructor with a passion for his job. Highly recommended! Thank you Jeff! We are so glad we found you!

Fantastic experience: Jeff is an outstanding tutor who fosters confidence in drivers. He demonstrates exceptional patience and understanding, particularly with learners who require repeated reminders to correct ingrained habits. His teaching approach is highly effective, identifying each student's current skill level, guiding them to the next stage, and addressing any weaknesses through rigorous mock tests to ensure thorough improvement.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and insightful lessons. Friendly, easy to get along with, very calm, knowledgeable, accommodating. I passed first time and would highly recommend.

Negative experience: It really surprises me the other views here. They are not how my child found Jeff to be at all. His behaviour was so inappropriate, I have forwarded a formal complaint to the driving standard agency. My child found Jeff did Not explain things clearly, he did Not give constructive feedback, he did Not have a positive attitude or patience and certainly did Not keep calm under pressure.

Fantastic experience: A very friendly instructor. I would not have passed first time without his help and advice. He gave great feedback of ways I could improve and explained things very well. I now feel confident and safe driving around after taking lessons with Jeff

Fantastic experience: Jeff is hands down the best instructor! He is reliable, patient, and thorough. I took automatic lessons with him (brought my own vehicle) and passed on my first try. If you want someone who really cares about your progress and road safety, then Jeff is the one to go to.

Fantastic experience: I contacted jeff when I was let down by another driving instructor last minute on my daughter birthday we had brought her driving lessons as a present he rearranged his day and was at our door within the hour he really saved the day he has been nothing but professional and friendly throughout my daughter driving experience enabling her to pass first time with one minor i truly am very grateful for everything you have done for us and am looking forward to you teaching my twins in the new year I know thay will be in safe hands

Fantastic experience: Jeff is an amazing teacher for someone learing to drive to have. He is calm and has full trust in his students capabilities, only stepping in when needed, and makes sure to give detailed explanations on how to improve after a mistake occurs. Then practicing the parts of driving that his students struggle on the most. He always takes interest in his students hobbies and lives to make them feel as comfortable as possible during lessons, which ultimately leading to me passing first try! An amazing teacher and friend to have.

Fantastic experience: Jeff helped me pass in Guildford on my first try. His knowledge about potential test routes was vital and he was exactly right on what route they would likely take me on given the time of day I had booked. He showed me the 'tricky bits' of the route, which we practiced, and I passed with only two minors. He was very patient, responsive with lesson scheduling, and helpful with my overall driving, too. I am sure I would have failed if I hadn't had his specific help with the way Guildford tests.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my driving test thanks to Jeff… Learnt soo much with him as he made me feel comfortable and confident. The way he explained information made everything easy to understand. He went through my past mistakes multiple times until I understood completely what to fix. What helped me the most was that we listed my weaknesses down in driving techniques at the end of each lesson which we then worked on in the following lesson, this allowed me to independently do some research and correct any issues. He always believed that I would pass which kept me motivated. Thank you sooo much for the lessons and helping me to pass with only 2 minors.
