Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Stuart enough for helping me pass my driving test on the first go today. From our first lesson, he made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel with his friendly demeanour, patience and extensive knowledge. He is able to communicate in a clear way that a learner can understand. He gave me the tools to not just pass the test, to be confident that I can drive safely for the rest of my life. Fantastic experience: Passed my test first time yesterday with 0 faults all courtesy of Stuart. After each lesson, even if I felt it was a bad one, it would end with positive encouragement which gave me lots of confidence heading into the next lesson. Nothing was rushed and it felt like Stuart was teaching me how to drive, not teaching someone how to pass a test. Fantastic experience: Stuart’s excellence as a driving instructor enabled me to pass my driving test. Stuart’s professional yet warm and welcoming personality made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed when behind the wheel. What I particularly liked about Stuart is that he was so polite and calm about how he delivered constructive feedback. There’s nothing worse than being screamed at for making a mistake but Stuart never raised his voice which never put me under pressure allowing me to maintain a lot of confidence when driving. Something that puts Stuart in front of other driving instructors is that he doesn’t just teach his pupils to pass their test, he goes beyond and teaches his pupils how to pass their test and drive in the outside world after they pass their test. All I can say is that I learnt more about driving in the time I had with Stuart than I did the previous 30 hours with other instructors. I couldn’t recommend him enough as he’s exceeded every expectation as a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: I started having lessons with Stu towards the end of 2023- I could already do the basics, but I hadn’t driven in a long time. Stu brought me up to a place where I was confident I could do my test in very quick time. He was patient when ironing out details. He doesn’t worry about ‘learning to pass the test’ it’s just about learning how to drive safely, and passing the test will come with that.

Fantastic experience: After returning to the U.K. and looking for an instructor I came across Stuart through good recommendation. Originally not knowing what to expect was a little strange as it was a whole new experience learning to drive. From the first time Stuart picked me up it was nothing but a relief as he was Extremely helpful, patient and very knowledgeable. He would explain things in such simple detail that even the “tricky” things came across easy through Stuart’s teaching. Stuart’s flexibility regarding hours of teaching was also great. Fantastic experience: Stuart is a great driving instructor. He's super friendly. He teaches driving intuition not overloading you with lots of rules; which you'll keep for life rather than forget after the test. My monauvers are on point thanks to this method of teaching. Fantastic experience: The man is an absolute gem of a driving instructor. Kind, funny, patient, he spots mistakes before they're made, because... he's a SUPER STU ....; Instead of unnecessarily stressing one out, he simply asks you thought-provoking questions; carefully designed to activate your driving brain. He's not a shouter and it's unlikely that you'll experience Stu's Finger of Doom. I have heard stories about that Finger, but to be fair, you'd have to be an absolute idiot to meet it face to finger :). Besides being the best instructor in the UK, passionately involved in his pupil's progress, he's also a marvellous human being - wonderfully accommodating, multitalented, witty and almost.... heroic. I do warn you though - the very experience of driving with Stu will teleport you into another dimension, where time-space transforms into space-time and suddenly hours feel like minutes, minutes like seconds - you are on top of the world , filled with infinite possibilities .... It takes great courage to come back to your mundane 3D reality sans Stu... (=it's addictive :)))). The very sad ex pupil who not so secretly dreams about infinite lessons x

Fantastic experience: 15 years ago I tried to learn how to drive but nerves got the better of me. After hitting my 30’s I decided enough was enough and got in touch with Stu who agreed to work with me to conquer the nerves and get me test ready. Finally today I passed my test and I truly could not have done it without Stu - he was so calming, reassuring and just has such a way of making you feel at ease. Thank you for everything - having a driving license is going to help me so much and open so many doors going forward.

Negative experience: Made me chase him up after a month after telling me automatic lessons wouldn't be a problem, only to tell me he does not offer lessons in automatic. That's the definition of a problem. Bad communication on simple corrispondance.

Fantastic experience: My son Morgan passed first time after receiving lessons with Stuart. Over the past 12 months it’s been challenging for both Stuart and Morgan with on/off lessons during lockdown restrictions. Stuart is a great instructor, he’s positive, professional and patient, also approachable and flexible. I will be in touch once again with Stuart once my daughter turns 17 next year. Fantastic experience: Today I passed my driving test with flying colours and it’s all down to my instructor Stewart to whom I was recommended, I was so grateful by being introduced to him but I didn’t really know how good he was. From my very first nervous lesson to going into my test has been amazing. I completed my whole learning experience in under 7 months and it’s all thanks to Stewart.

Fantastic experience: Stuart is a fab instructor - he is always super flexible with timings of lessons and can easily fit around my teaching hours. He really gets you to think about the 'why' of a situation, rather than simply giving the answer, which definitely helps you to avoid the same mistake again. Fantastic experience: Stuart made the driving lessons comfortable even when pushing my comfort zones. I think his method of teaching equipped me to be able to drive on just about any road in the country. And at the end, I managed to pass my driving test on the 1st try in an unfamiliar area!

Fantastic experience: When I came to Stuart I had no prior driving experience. He was the first and only instructor I had and made it so easy with each lesson flowing into the next so that I eventually felt uber confident behind the wheel, even tho I couldn't help myself putting my foot down constantly he never got annoyed. And that helped me to pass first time. 11/10 could not have picked a better instructor.

Fantastic experience: I had no driving experience so was very nervous about driving but Stuart put my mind at rest and he was very patient with me. I looked forward to every lesson and he could always work around me and my job. Stuart taught me to drive not just pass a test and because of that I have the confidence to drive on my own. Fantastic experience: Stuart was a helpful and patient driving instructor. His method was to teach you to be a good driver rather than teaching to the test. I feel this has made me a better and safer driver as a result. After passing my test Stuart also helped in preparing me for motorway driving for me to get to and from work.

Fantastic experience: Massive thanks to Stuart for making my driving lessons fun and letting me be completely at ease and myself throughout the whole learning process. Learning to drive is something I had put off for years, (after some less-than-great lessons elsewhere at 17) and I was beginning to think that I might never actually be able to do it! I've now passed my test and feel confident, and that I've actually learned to drive in the real world not just learned to pass my test. Stuart made lessons fun, with a silly sense of humour like mine, mutual love of music and an understanding that sometimes life outside of lessons affects how you feel and learn on that particular day! Would definitely recommend learning with Stuart!

Fantastic experience: I thought I'd never be able to drive and I certainly never thought I'd enjoy it. However learning to drive with Stu was a pleasure, he tailored his lessons to me and how I learned best and I am now a confident and safe driver who actually knows how to drive a car not just pass a test. I always recommend Stu and canmot speak highly enough of him as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Stuart was absolutely amazing I hadn't driven for around 9 years as failed tests had really knocked my confidence. Stuart was so patient and supportive and allowed me to build my confidence back up. I passed my test with 1 error and I think this is a reflection of the amazing tutoring from stuart. Negative experience: The good: Stuart was flexible as to where we could begin and end lessons. Always gave his complete and undivided attention during each journey. When occasionally unsure about the rules and procedures of driving Stuart has a tablet to help illustrate and communicate ideas. Interesting upbringing/ background and can loves to talk about all things music. The bad: Stuart's attitude can be very dismissive and forthright at times. I remember having a particularly bad experience and was ridiculed to the point I didn't have the confidence to drive home. Summary: If you're a nervous driver and prefer a patient instructor to provide constructive feedback, who will will fill you with confidence I would suggest looking elsewhere.
