Fantastic experience: Steve is a wonderful driving instructor who made me feel very calm and confident on the roads. He is very attentive and happy to go at your own pace. He explained everything very well and made jt easy to understand. I passed first time thanks to him and would recommend him 100% to anyone looking to learn.

Fantastic experience: Steve was very punctual and reliable. He was patient and calm during driving sessions which helped me feel comfortable and to learn at my own. I switched to him from other driving instructor. He explained very well, why to do a particular action, for example, why do you check rear mirror before breaking. If a pupil knows why, it's better understood rather than just following instructions. He planned sessions very well for me, even a session just before a test too. I passed in the first attempt. I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I’d been putting off getting my licence for years due to a bad learning experience in my teens and living in city centres, but finally plucked up the courage after my 32nd birthday to start having lessons. I struggled to find many automatic instructors in my area but am so glad I came across and reached out to Steve. My anxiety, nerves and lack of confidence diminished from my first lesson! He is quietly supportive and calm which is exactly what I needed and his feedback is always very constructive and never harsh so my confidence was never knocked when building up my skills. I would recommend Steve to anybody, but particularly anybody like myself who worries that they may be too old to learn and/or who had a bad experience with somebody else, Steve is very patient but also keeps you well on track. I had no other driving practice outside my lessons and still passed first time with 3 minors, I’m thrilled as I truly though I may never be able to drive at some moments in my life! Fantastic experience: Steve is a fantastic driving instructor. As someone who has always struggled with driving and confidence, Steve’s calm manner, clear instructions and ability to explain concepts in a variety of ways were invaluable. He was very patient, and brought humour to moments of learning to drive that felt challenging! I passed first time, which would never have been possible without Steve. I would recommend him as an instructor to anyone looking to learn to drive (and already have to several of my friends!).

Fantastic experience: Steve was very patient in teaching me. Whenever I encountered something I didn’t understand, he would go out of his way to identify the issue and provide a solution. Through continuous practice, he helped me understand what to do. After each lesson, he would review what I had learned with me to assess my understanding. In the next lesson, he would practice areas where I was lacking and hoped to improve, and he would also ask me what I wanted to learn. This made me feel that I could learn and progress at my own pace. Today, I finally passed my driving test, and I am extremely grateful to Steve.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my driving lessons for the past year with Steve, he is an incredible and patient teacher without fault. He has been incredibly supportive of me as a student, offering constructive criticism and goals for the upcoming lessons. I found this to be very helpful as it allowed me to reflect on my progress and identify areas for improvement. Not only is he patient but he is very calm which I found to help with my anxiety for most of our sessions and it by far increased confidence over time. He is by far the best instructor I have ever had ( he was my third and final instructor). I would highly recommend! Happy to have passed my driving test a week ago now on my second attempt ! Fantastic experience: I would recommend Steven to anyone who is learning to drive , I am a nervous and anxious driver who has been trying to drive for a number of years and was close to giving up until I started to learn with Steven , he has a calming influence as he teaches you to drive, he does not get angry when you make mistakes and he helps make you believe in yourself and your driving capability , he was always flexible with my lessons if I had to cancel one he was very understanding , I passed today with 3 minors. Fantastic experience: Steve was an brill instructor from the minute I joined him in September. He has had a very consistent, strategic approach to teaching throughout and I’ve felt very comfortable during my time in the car with Steve. I have had a previous instructor who taught nothing like the way Steve does. I have today passed 1st time with ZERO faults and it’s all thanks to Steve. I will miss our weekly driving lessons for sure and am so thankful for all his help in my driving journey.

Fantastic experience: Steve is a very patient and calm driving instructor. I was nervous to start my driving lessons in Nottingham as I had just moved there for university and I didn't know the area at all. From my first lesson, Steve made me feel at ease and always took his time to explain any questions I had. Having previous lessons in my home town, I found certain manoeuvres difficult, but Steve's tips made it extremely easy and now I don't fear them. I can't thank Steve enough!

We had to deal with all the ups and downs of the pandemic and he did it brilliantly and got me in for my lessons and test as quickly as possible. He made learning to drive a very fun experience but also objective as we could prioritize weaknesses and end every lesson with a debrief as to what to practice. He identified and taught me driving techniques that fixed the problems I was facing and helped me to build on these week-on-week. I was not confident when I started but Steve helped me by keeping calm and explaining things when I didn’t quite understand them. He built my confidence in tackling roundabouts which were my worst nightmare but now I do not fear them. Anyone who learns with Steve will fall in love with driving instead of fearing it. Steve is a first class instructor and he will provide you the confidence you need to pass your test and to be a safe, considerate and competent driver.

Fantastic experience: I came across Steve when looking for an instructor offering automatic lessons having not got on well with manual. I was very nervous for my first lesson having not driven for over a year which was not helped by me getting there late due to a delayed train, however Steve was very understanding of this and throughout all my lessons was very flexible with start and finish times depending on what was needed on the day. He was also very good at informing me on the odd occasion he was slightly late himself. As others have said he was always patient, friendly and calm and rather than reacting angrily and getting frustrated if I made mistakes, (as I had experienced with my previous instructor), he would calmly explain what I’d done wrong but also help me to work out how I could have done better. I found the end of the lesson debrief really beneficial as I am definitely one to dwell on mistakes but this helped me to see what went well too and feel more confident. It was also a good opportunity to come up with a rough plan for what sort of areas we would cover in the next lesson which really helped too and Steve was always happy to go over any bits I was unsure of until they were no longer an issue. I went into the test with the usual nerves but at the same time feeling like I was in the best position I’d been in for any of my tests and am very happy to say I passed with only 4 minors . I also found theory test pro a big help which enabled me to pass my theory easily for the second time (first one had expired). So overall I was very happy with the great tuition I got from Steve and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you very much Steve!

Fantastic experience: Steve was a fantastic instructor and very easy to get along with. He was very good being on time and giving for warning when he was going to be late. The best thing was you don't feel very pressured if you do something wrong. Steve is accommodating to your needs while learning too.

Fantastic experience: Steve is certainly one of the best instructors which I’ve ever met! He’s very flexible. On number of occasions I couldn’t manage to start up my lessons on time, but he was always able to adapt to my working hours. He was very supportive from day one right to the end and as a result of that I’ve passed on first attempt! I’ve learnt a lot so thank you very much for all your hard work and support! Fantastic experience: 5 stars from the first lesson right up until the day I passed! Steve is an excellent instructor who offered some great plain advice when needed, rather than dwelling on any errors, which was always particularly helpful whenever the nerves struck. I'd happily recommend Steve to anyone, whether you're the nervous type, or guilty of being a touch over eager, as I've been both at various points throughout the process of learning!! I even passed first time out, so what more can you ask for?!
