Fantastic experience: Coming into driving lessons at a later age of 33, I was apprehensive and nervous but Martin put me at ease straight away. He was very patience and made me laugh during our lessons which helped me focus and learn a lot. It took the pressure and stress away from lessons and made them enjoyable which is important when you’re learning to drive in my opinion. I passed my theory test with full marks and a high pass rate of hazard perceptions. I went on to pass my practical test on my first attempt with two minors. I can’t take full accountability for this because I wouldn’t have the skill set to have achieved this without Martin sharing his experiences and unique and knowledgable training techniques. I’m extremely thankful to Martin and grateful he was my instructor. I cannot recommend him enough. Thanks again Martin!

Fantastic experience: Look no further, you cannot go wrong with GO Driving. Martin, the owner, is an excellent instructor. I have been living in the Uk for a year and was driving with my international license. It was time for me to get my UK license and I needed someone to prepare me for the driving test. On my first lesson, Martin assessed my driving style and immediately focused on teaching me the appropriate way of doing certain maneuvers that I wasn't doing well. He explained things very well and has a lot of patience. He prepared me so well that I only got to minors in my driving test.

Fantastic experience: I approached Martin when my previous instructor went on an extended Holiday, and didn't wish to have a gap in my learning experience. After Just one lesson I decided to stay with him and booked in for a block of Lessons. Martin caters your learning experience around you, adopting various teaching techniques completely dependant upon you, your learning style and approach to driving. I am a nervous learner with the odd confident moment/day and Martin will adjust his approach to me depending on how I am doing. He will also make available to you various materials to assist in your theory knowledge development, from a PDF version of the highway code, and a free to access and use app. The app is incredibly user friendly and covers all questions, and hazard perception videos that you may get in your theory test. I believe that these materials contributed to me passing my theory test on first attempt recently. Martin doesn't just focus on your test, although an important factor, his focus in on developing you into a safe, competent, and confident driver. I would recommend to any learner driver.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional....after a disagreement he took it upon himself to to slag me off over social media instead of being a man and talking like an adult...no to mention lying to me over how long a test takes/costs after being suspicious I consulted in other respectable instructors who told me that he shouldn't be charging that and I should report him...he told me I was ready for my test and to book it I did... i then asked if I should bring it forward he said yes to which I realised I hadn't learned everything I should have going into the test....didnt give me a proper lesson before the test....i went in unprepared and he knew this but only cared about the money....instead of acting like an adult and talking it through decided to call me a "scruff" over social media...a matter which could have been resolved on the day had he not just left...would like people to be more cautious when choosing a driving instructor trying to bully a woman over Facebook name calling isn't very professional
