Fantastic experience: Alec was great. He was flexible with times and days so we managed to have almost weekly lessons despite my unpredictable shift pattern. He was calm which helped me relax and enjoy driving. He explained concepts clearly and used videos and images to help. He was patient and was happy to explain difficult concepts repeatedly. Fantastic experience: I wanted to say a huge thank you to my expert instructor Miss Jennifer, without her patience, guidance, and support throughout my driving lessonsl it wouldn't be possible to pass Today. Fantastic experience: Recently passed first time after 9 months of lessons with the lovely Alec. Was extremely nervous and reluctant to learn to drive and from day one his laid back disposition and calm personality put me right at ease. Alec was incredibly patient and allowed me to lead my progression to what I was comfortable with but also very reassuring and supportive when he knew I was capable of more than I believed. Alec has all the right values and knowledge when it comes to driving, making sure he was teaching safe driving rather than concentrating on just teaching what needs to be taught to pass the test. Now I'm driving solo I can see how beneficial and valuable this was and my confidence is definitely boosted by the extra knowledge he imparted on me. I cannot thank Alec enough for everything he did for me and being such a wonderful instructor and would recommend him highly!

Negative experience: I lost all of my money and time with you! Even though I have driven car for 9 years with automatic gear but the instructor didn’t allow me to go to driving test!! She told me after 5 mock test afterwards I will allow you to take the exam!! 5 mock test passed it’s stressful and it’s a disappointing number. She didn’t explain what does the coasting mean! She didn’t learn me how to drive 5 MPH with manual gear. I didn’t have any progress. Search for my first name is enough to know whether I was in system or I wasn’t!

Fantastic experience: I have trained with Michael for my driving instructor qualification. With his help and support, I have passed all my exams first time and in the final exam has achieved grade A. Michael has many years of experience teaching people to pass their L tests and helping driving instructors to qualify. He is very patient and knowledgable. It's never a dull conversation with Michael. Thank you for your help and kindness!

I did not trust in my own abilities but Nathan really made me believe in myself and pushed me to take my test early as he knew I was ready! Thank you so much Nathan, you’re a star!

Fantastic experience: Great driving school, was the help of Paul I was able to past my test first time, I was able to specifically pick what I felt was struggle on whilst still focus on all the main aspects of driving.

Negative experience: Such a bad assistance. I booked a lesson with them all was confirmed and then they called after sometime and told that they can’t do it on that day anymore and moving like 2 weeks later to book. Dead

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with Sally from Nayland! With her help I passed my test first time and was off out confidently driving just days after. She made me feel so comfortable, even when I found myself struggling with certain aspects of driving. I would highly recommend learning with her.

Negative experience: It is hard to leave a poor review, but feel we have been left with no alternative. Firstly, our son had Michael as his tutor and passed with him with no issues (very straight forward, very happy with service). Today we have been let down by the tutor Suzie who my daughter has used since May this year. We feel we have been open with communication and feel we have not messed her about.Tonight she has informed us that it would be best for us to look somewhere else as we querried about why we had to pay for tuition when my daughter was not well at all this morning with raging tonsillitis. We message her at 07:26 this morning and lesson was for 15:15 today. She said we would still have to pay the £56.00 as it is short notice and need to read the T's &C's she provided to my daughter's email account back in May. I have read the T's & C's and it says to the instructor's discretion. We understand she has to make a business as self employed person. Our problem is: my daughter was not unwell 48 hours ago to cancel lesson, and she intended to have the lesson today! After we paid the fee to her this evening she sent us a text saying it would be best for us to part after she got her money. Suzie has cancelled on us on the day on 3 separate occasions!! She also did not have availability for my daughter to have a driving lesson for a whole month. She agreed with my daughter to let her know work schedule and then would say "no availability". We just feel dumbfounded by all this. It would be really great to speak to someone from Nayland Driving School to help sort all this out as we are quite reasonable people and feel there should be a way forward. Fantastic experience: I started my lessons with Sally in April 2021, passed my theory test in July 2021 and passed my practical test today! She supported me every single lesson, patiently listening to my concerns and adapting to my needs. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

She made me feel safe when I was first learning and was reassuring and honest. When I passed my test I passed with 0 minors which highlights how her teaching payed off.

Fantastic experience: Nayland Driving School offer great support to all their Approved Driving Instructors as well as everyone training to become an ADI. I would strongly recommend Nayland for both people learning to drive as well as people training to become driving instructors.

I was nervous to drive again after having lessons six years before, but Sally made me feel confident in my ability so quickly with continuous support in all areas of learning. Fantastic experience: Michael and Geoff have been amazing instructor trainers. They have provided me with an immense amount of support throughout this awful pandemic. Extremely patient and always available to help. Came up with some brilliant ideas to tailor the training to meet my needs. I have now passed my instructor training and am fully qualified thanks to the team here at Nayland Driving School! Thank you for my new career!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Michael enough for all the time and effort he has put in to help me through my part 2 and part 3 training. Even through the pandemic he would arrange zoom calls for everyone to join and still continue to help us train. Today I've passed my final exam and I couldn't of done it without him. Thanks again!!

Fantastic experience: I did most of my Driving Instructor training with Nayland (Michael and Geoff) and passed my part 3 first time. They are both friendly and experienced ORDIT qualified trainers who I would highly recommend. I did it all on a ‘pay as you go’ basis as I didn’t want to be tied in and wanted to train at my own pace alongside a part time job.

I am currently learning to drive with Jusna, as a very nervous person on the road I feel she has done an amazing job helping me to gain my confidence. She is very positive and supportive every lesson and has been extremely patient. I have never felt pushed or rushed, you can take it at your own pace whilst also being nuged a little in order to build on every lesson. They are able to work around your schedule and ensure any goals you want to achieve every week are met.

Fantastic experience: Massive thank you to my instructor Jamil and Nayland Driving School. Jamil has been very patient, tolerant and gentle with his teaching approach with me. This was spot on and just what I needed to slowly build up my confidence and gather momentum in my ability to drive. He aleays affirmed the good aspects of my driving while gently pointing out areas to work on some more. He guided me through 20 intensive hours supporting me to come from a place of never driving before to passing my test first time WITHOUT ANY ERRORS!! ZERO FAULTS!! Fantastic experience: A truly wonderful experience, I started learning to drive with David, who took me from a complete beginner to passing my test First time successfully. David was an absolute pleasure, who patiently helped me increase my confidence and belief in myself. Amazingly I passed first time a proud moment for both me and David. Hand on heart I could not see myself passing with any other driving school or instructor. Five stars and two thumbs up.

Fantastic experience: After many years of awful driving experiences with different instructors (and a horrendous intense course that I had failed at).. now with my theory running out very soon my self esteem was so low and I had real anxiety over the whole situation ..but i was despatate to pass, so i decided to give it one last attempt and I was so lucky to find Julia!..She has amazing patience..she is a brilliant reliable teacher and always goes the extra mile to think of ways to help you in anyway she can...I can't thank her enough for getting me through..I passed today with just 2 minors..thankyou so much Julia!!..i can not recommend Julia highly enough! Fantastic experience: Went for a drive with Barry yesterday to boost my confidence after recently passing my test, untill now I have been petrified of roundabouts but Barry helped me to calm my nerves and see where my gaps are. I was unsure of driving my car on my own but Barry has given me the confidence to drive. Negative experience: Don't use these to learn to drive unless you want to learn road rage, how to breach the highway code rules and to act like a moron. White coloured car this morning on the A12 heading towards Ipswich onto the A14 towards Stowmarket - 66 plate ending in NZL - balding slight build man with glasses who decided to give me the middle finger as I merged onto the A12 - the traffic was stationary / at a crawl - and I indicated fully that I wanted to pull onto the A12 - I was almost at the end of the slip road, and he was obviously not happy about letting me in. This is an example of the bad habits being taught to our young drivers. Do yourself a favour mate and find a different career!
