Fantastic experience: Went in today with zero prior experience with motorcycling outside of a bicycle - everyone was accommodating and my instructor Gary was very thorough with his explanations of how to do what. I got a bit cocky and he showed me how it could affect other drivers/riders. Very thorough yet kind instructor - will definitely go again for my full license training.

Fantastic experience: Without a doubt an incredible place. Knowledgable teachers and great mannerisms. Having passed my full bike licence this morning I’m quite sad that I won’t be having lessons again now. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone wanting to learn from CBT to full Licence. For info of anyone planning to do it… I’m 32 and did CBT about a year ago and went into lessons. An injury kept me away for 6 months but other than that I went from zero to hero with this place.

Fantastic experience: Jason was recommended as a bike trainer by several family and friends who had successfully completed their training with him. While the CBT is done by someone else, as soon as you have completed it and are ready to train with Jason he is the best! My confidence has taken a lot of time to build and Jason remained patient and continued to encourage me. I was nervous to go from 125 to 600 but Jason made sure I had the time and was ready. My training took a while but I didn't feel rushed and as a result when I passed my Mod 2 I felt ready for the road. Jason teaches you to be a safe rider not to pass a test. He is great at tailoring training to each person and making sure they get the practice in areas they need.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, To be honest it took me a while and I’m sure I could have had a crash course else where and passed sooner. But (and it’s a big but) Jason taugh me and a friend how to ride safely and confidently on todays roads. He didn’t focus on passing the test but teaching us how to ride and stay alive. On passing my test I went out the following day, bought a bike and felt safe and confident. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else

Fantastic experience: Fabulous service, quality training from CBT to full licence. Patient trainers got this nervous, self critical, novice rider through it all without ever making me feel like I couldn't do it. Training was bespoke to your needs to achieve the desired outcome. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Actually going to miss seeing them ;)

Fantastic experience: Road rider has taken me from having no experience riding a motorcycle, all the way to completing my direct access scheme. I completed my CBT with Gary and then proceeded with Jason on my DAS lessons. I passed my module 1 and module 2 on the first attempt. Every lesson I’ve had has always been enjoyable and a fun experience, even when the weather wasn’t the best but unfortunately that’s out of their control! The team at road rider are very knowledgeable and are good at pointing out where you need to improve which makes you become a safer rider. It has also been good to meet new people with a passion for motorcycles. Absolute 10/10 from me, keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Excellent training from start to finish! I completed my CBT with Gary and passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time with Jason with only one minor on the latter. This just goes to show the standard of tuition on offer at Road-rider. They are always up for a laugh as well which makes learning so much more enjoyable. If your thinking of completing motorcycle training I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys :)

Fantastic experience: Used Road Rider to do my CBT just before the first lockdown, training was great and felt very at ease. Booked my lessons which, due to lockdown restrictions was not until 2021. Jason is great, his way of teaching is the best very relaxed, he misses nothing when riding behind you, therefore is always able to correct you with the best advice, especially cutting roundabouts..... Did not take many lessons to get to both Mod 1 and Mod 2 standard, passing both first time. Will highly recommend. Cheers Jason

Fantastic experience: Started with Gary doing cbt, then moved over to jason on the 600cc lessons. Had 5 lessons in total. Put in for both mod 1 and mod 2 both this morning and passed with flying colours. Jason has a very good way of teaching which is very rare in a motor vehicle. Would highly recommend road rider to anyone! I’ll always remember the comment ‘check your shoulder incase a nob head in a taxi is there’ which is almost certainly the case! Fantastic experience: From never riding a motorbike to fully passed in only a handful of lessons (despite the terrible weather on the day of my MOD 2!). Both guys at Roadrider are great and were honest with me at every stage and encouraged me to book my tests when they thought I was ready rather than pushing me to keep taking lessons needlessly. Jason even took me across to do the MOD 2 in his van (bike in the back due to the terrible weather) on a day that he had booked as holiday! Would definitely recommend them and have already got my friends to sign up for their CBT

Fantastic experience: Contacted Jason at Road Riders one evening after having a bad experience at another riding school, From word go I could sense that he was passionate about what he does, Which reflected in his teaching style. I found it very easy to learn from him and after a few traing lessons booked my Mod1 & Mod2 tests to take on the same day, Which I passed, And its all thanks to Jasons experience and vast knowledge at how to take a complete novice and turn you into Safe and compitant rider... If you really want to learn to Ride By someone that really wants to teach (and not just take your money) then give him a shout.... Thanks again... Ps, You still owe me that coffee..... lol

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience! I had a bad experience elsewhere so was really nervous. Gary made me feel relaxed, and was very patient with me as a complete beginner. I became disheartened while struggling with manouvers, but he explained all steps carefully, and I was very confident by the time I got on the road. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very friendly. Would 100% recommend!!

Negative experience: SHOCKING My experience echos the other ladies that have posted a review. From unsuitable bikes, to the patronising sexist instructor who thinks it's acceptable to be on Facebook whilst he's supposed to be teaching you about road safety . If you are a woman you don't stand a chance, they set you up to fail to get more money out of you. Wouldn't even give them one star. Completed my cbt with Dc's who were fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Did CBT with these guys 1 year ago and really enjoyed, instructor was friendly and understanding and got offered a 2nd day after weather got bad and will be going back to them in a month or so for an A2 licence, highly recommended.

Negative experience: Really bad experience. Ended up paying £600 including cbt and 4 lessons, was not put on a big bike in the car park for more than 20 mins in total of all those lessons. Made me ride a 125 on another person's CBT, another mod 1 test unnecessarily. Made me ride a 125 for all 4 lessons. 1 lesson was with the sexist joker who keeps making jokes on sex and women which are not hilarious at all and frankly, quite offensive. On telling the instructor about how disappointed I was for not getting my moneys worth, I was told off. Instead of teaching bike handling in a car park, they give you a 125 to ride on the road forever. They are nice people, but my pockets are empty, I have learned peanuts and they are the only ones happy about it. I changed schools. Writing this so no one else goes through the same.

Negative experience: I usually never like to give bad reviews but this one i just couldn't leave alone. I went to do a CBT bike course. I'm a complete novice so i were nervous enough. But to be honest I was made to feel like an idiot because I was struggling to do what was required. Plus i was given a bike too heavy for me. But the worst thing was that I was subjected to sexism by comments made by one of the trainers who said things like "women drivers" and "im over 50 so im allowed to be sexist and racist" He made me feel bad seen as all the others doing the course were males. I felt so humiliated I didnt want to finish the course. The only shining light of this place was a guy called john who were patient and at the least helpful. If it wasnt for john id have rated it no stars if i could.
