He never complained about explaining situations again or asking questions as “no question is a silly question”. As well as being very reliable and dedicated to his job.

Fantastic experience: Neil was a very good driving instructor, I stayed with him from start to finish. He really helps you on what he thinks you need to focus on and learns to understand you as a driver and your strengths and weaknesses. He has a lot of knowledge about the practical test and will get you set up well for it. He also works around people schedules very well and does what he can to fit you in which is very helpful now that everything’s so backed up from covid. Overall would definitely recommend him as an instructor, he explains things very well and gets you to answer questions throughout the lessons to expand your understanding and knowledge, and he mixes the lessons up well so they were never boring. :)

Fantastic experience: I contacted Neil for refresher lessons. I hadn't been driving for almost ten years and lost all my confidence. Neil was really helpful. He was very friendly, calm and patient, going back to basics and building my confidence back step by step. The lessons were tailored to my needs, with a mix of driving in traffic, parking and manoeuvering, motorway... After 10 hours, I had regained my confidence and I can now safely go wherever I want. He doesn’t rush you and is calm in every lesson (even if you do something wrong) As a person who is really nervous and anxious about tests, he talked me carefully through every step. After all the disruption of lockdown he did an amazing job getting me ready for my test . The fact I passed first time with NO faults is certainly down to him.

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Neil. He started off taking the lesson to somewhere quiet where I felt comfortable getting use to a car with minimal traffic around. With his patience and experience he helped me overcome my initial nerves and I started to progress very quickly. Neil has a lot of knowledge and makes learning to drive easy. Any manouvers that I didn't feel 100% comfortable with, he would make the time to go over and practise the manouver until I was happy and confident. Nothing was ever rushed and that allowed me to feel relaxed. He gives full guidence throughout the lessons and always gives excellent feedback at the end of each one. Highly recommend Neil for anyone wanting to learn to drive and pass first time!
