Fantastic experience: What a week I just had getting my Class 1 license with Tony, what a gentleman he is. This is a great company if you are looking to do your HGV license, I was a complete begginer on Monday and now have my full C+E entitlement. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone. Fantastic experience: Absolutely 5* experience. Can’t praise Big Wheelers enough for their help for getting me through my LGV class C . Firstly Lyndsey for the organising of all my training and tests etc, and then Jeff for my actual training. Having never driven anything bigger than a transit van before and being a little nervous ,Jeff put me at ease from the word go. Fantastic experience: Thank you to big wheelers for guiding me from my car license all the way to Cat C+E. It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable week, with lots of proper truckers breakfasts with Terry. It’s been a full experience not just learning to pass a test, it is getting road ready and learning to be a professional driver, ready for the highest level of driving.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time training and being assessed for my D1+E. I took a 20hr course with Dave from big wheelers. Dave was a fantastic instructor who created a relaxed environment which allowed me to learn at a pace comfortable for me. His knowledge was fantastic and helped set me up really well for my test, which I passed first time! I had a Great experience both during booking and during my training. Fantastic experience: Had Dave as my Class 1 C+E instructor and he was amazing!! Such a calm demeanour and presence about him that just helped make the training so much easier. He was very helpful with instructions on how best to do the reversing segment which truly helped when it came to the test. Passed 1st time with only two minors. Honestly would say that big wheelers is the best place to learn to do your HGV licence.

The office staff were really helpful and I felt at ease before I’d even started. I had contacted big wheelers due to a lack of confidence built from another training school and several failed tests! The Big Wheelers instructors helped me to feel supported and encouraged throughout the whole process. They spoke with clear and calm instruction and I felt confident behind the wheel again. Fantastic experience: A BIG thanks to everyone at Big Wheelers including all the admin staff. Passed the Category C - 28 July 2023. Great professional company. Nick made sure to teach me what was required in order to take the test on days one and two. I was nervous before my practical test on day three. Brian was the instructor on day three and helped me immensely with positive and really helpfull tips,he did a great job and helped to settle my nerves. Fantastic experience: The thought of driving a large articulated goods vehicle was quite daunting to me but my instructor Tony was calm and reassuring, taking me step by step through the stages. I felt that I was not being taught how to pass a test, but taught how to drive the vehicle in any situation, which then helped me to pass the test with zero driver faults. All instructors I spoke to are nice guys and full of info. So if your looking to do your hgv give these a ring.

Fantastic experience: Very professional company to train with , everyone i met throughout my five days with them were fantastic, I started on the Monday and passed my 3A reversing test on the Thursday and 3B on road test on the Friday , both with Zero faults thanks to the training i received from my Instructor Jeff. Fantastic experience: Recently Passed my C+E practical test with Tony last week. I cannot recommend this company or Tony enough! He made me feel at ease with driving such a large vehicle! Couple of mistakes here and there but he made sure we went back to practice them until it was perfect! Passed with 1 minor! Thanks once again Big Wheelers & Tony!

Fantastic experience: Passed my Cat C (formerly Class 2) in January with Mark (now retired) and returned in March to pass my C+E (formerly Class 1) with Jeff. If they weren't good I wouldn't have spent more money with them. :) Really thought the C+E reversing was going to beat me but Jeff somehow managed to get me there. There's a dedicated area for off-road practice (Reverse, uncouple/recouple) as well as the actual off road maneuvers test which is very handy. Whenever I needed to talk to their office I always got the answers I needed with no fuss. Would highly recommend the Big Wheelers team if you need driver training.

Big Wheelers provide every aspect of training you will need, from raw beginners to refresher courses for ex-drivers contemplating a return to the sector. Excellent tuition and advice. Fantastic experience: I went to Big Wheelers for my D1 test. They were incredibly helpful from the very beginning as I had no idea in regards to medical and theory test prior to my lessons. Even though it was after COVID as I was aware there could be waiting lists, Big Wheelers fitted me in quickly and arranged my test also. The training itself was INCREIBLE. Derek was great and very approachable to ask questions and feel at ease when driving. Thank you so much, thanks to you I passed my D1 licence!

Fantastic experience: I have to say it was an absolute joy using Bigwheelers to do my class 2 Lorry licence. Kerry, my instructor was a complete joy and made me feel at ease from the moment I got into the cab right up to my test. Also all the instructors and staff where all very friendly and professional which gave me confidence in achieving my lience. If you're thinking about doing your truck licence I can't recommend Bigwheelers enough. You will not regret it.
