Fantastic experience: Marlon is a fantastic driving instructor. He made a massive effort to accommodate for my busy schedule and managed to book lessons for me with short notice. He is a very relaxed and calm instructor which is really helpful as a learner on the busy roads of London. Marlon makes very clear teaching points at appropriate times of the lesson (ie. When stopped or on a quiet street) which makes it easier to take on board. Marlon was a huge factor behind me passing by driving test and only getting one minor. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test 1st time? That's how good this instructor was? This guy was the best I used. From the simple way he instructs and talks to the methods that he uses to make sure you understood, understand fully and have learnt to action perfectly before moving on to other things. I actually think he IS the best! Hands down or at least one of the very best instructors. He's so good he had me not caring about any cost or anything like that. His service is high quality and clearly worth every penny. I will be heavily recommending him to ALL and ANYONE who needs to pass their driving test. 10/10 instructor! Fact!!!

Fantastic experience: Marlon is a fantastic driving instructor. I had been driving overseas for a few years without feeling particularly confident, and I wanted to take a few lessons before my test. I called Marlon a month before the test and his flexibility allowed us to fit in 6 lessons. He was quick to identify the areas I needed to improve in, and always gave clear and calm feedback to help me fix them. On top of all this, he’s a great guy. I passed my test and have never felt more confident in my driving, all thanks to Marlon!

Fantastic experience: Marlon is a superb driving instructor! I would highly recommend him. I took driving lessons with another instructor before I asked him to help me to prepare for my driving test. He found some time for me even though he was very busy. He was patient, punctual, attentive and learning with him was very focused and relaxed at the same time. After just a few lessons with him I passed my test first time! His car was perfect for me - convenient (I am quite tall) and easy to control that really helped during the test.

Fantastic experience: I got in touch with Marlon as I’d passed my test 2 years before and hadn’t driven since, and wanted to take some refresher lessons. I also had never been on the motorway. Fantastic experience: I passed my manual driving test after 10 lessons with New Era driving school. Marlon is such a patient, calming and reliable instructor. He encouraged me to be confident in myself as i hadn't passed my test 5 years ago and not gotten back behind the wheel of a car until starting lessons with him. Fantastic experience: Marlon is a fantastic teacher whose patience and calm style helped me to focus on improving my driving. I had failed my first test a year before with another instructor and hardly practiced for 9 months after that - Marlon was able to get me up to speed despite my having reached out on such a short notice, and by the time the test came I felt 10x more confident than I had during my first attempt. In the end I passed with only one minor fault, compared to the first rest where I hesitated far too much. Highly recommend this school + Marlon as an instructor for anyone who feels daunted at the prospect of learning to drive!

I called him few days before my driving test (which is not advisable so close to the test to be changing instructor) as I wasn't satisfied with the way my other instructor is teaching me. Fantastic experience: I used Marlon when I passed my test two years ago and he was brilliant! Got me to pass first try with only 36 hours of lessons. He was very clear in his instructions and re-assuring! He was also very flexible with the timings and just generally a kind person to be in the car with and spend a couple hours with! I highly recommend! Update (2024): Contacted Marlon for some refresher lessons and he was as before, so quick and accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to drive with! Fantastic experience: Before I met Marlon I though I could drive well, however as soon as I started lessons with him I realised they’re is so much I hadn’t been taught previously and this changed my whole perspective. Marlon is a very precise and clear communicator and anything he says is what one can expect to experience on the actual exam. I share this from my own experience, as before I met Marlon I failed my test twice due to certain mistakes and bad habits that were later on corrected with Marlon’ help and his constant reminders. Marlon is also very patient as these corrections did not happen overnight and it took me some time to adapt to a proper and safer way of driving. I can proudly say that I now feel much more confident and aware of everything around me when behind the wheel, and this is what led to one of my greatest recent achievements - to pass this driving test after 2 failed attempts and waiting over a year. I cannot express how grateful I am to Marlon for everything he taught me and I am sure that without his help I would have never passed this test in the near future. Furthermore the mental support he provided me with was much needed and he really made me believe in myself, taught me to control myself better when driving without getting nervous, and this inevitably had a huge positive impact on my test as I felt comfortable even with two people in the car (the examiner and an external assessor at the back) Therefore I would highly recommend Marlon’s services and wish you all best of luck on your test.
