I understand that you called to confirm our reputation before making payment for your CBT, which is a prudent step given the prevalence of online scams. During the call, we provided you with the arrival time, start time, and informed you that late arrivals would be turned away. We also specified the necessary items you needed to bring, such as your license, boots, and jeans. Additionally, we mentioned that you would receive a confirmation email with all the details and a copy of our Terms and Conditions of training upon payment. The reason we emphasize the importance of the start time and not being late is that all parts of the CBT must be completed by law, and missing any part is not permitted. On the day of your course, you arrived at 08:08, which was nearly 25 minutes later than the arrival time indicated in your confirmation email. By that time, the course had already started. Allowing you to join after the course had begun would have put us in breach of the legal requirements for completing the entire course. You mentioned the train you were due to catch was late, which is understandable, but you also mentioned you went out on time but had to go back to pick up your licence as you had forgotten it. However, as a gesture of good will, and providing you arrive on time next time, we will give you a 20% discount on your return for the CBT. I trust this is in order and we look forward to hearing from you to re book by call 0330 2234000 In our reply to the review you wrote about the same event 5 days ago, we explained that its a legal requirement to complete the whole of the CBT course. Our Terms and conditions on the web site have to be agreed before you can submit payment. You are correct we do email you a copy for your records after you have booked as well. It is clear on all the paperwork we issue, that you must arrive on time or you will lose the fee paid. By your own admission, one of the reasons you were late was you had to go back home to get your licence that you had forgotten, as well as the train being delayed. Had you left home with your licence the first time, you would not have been late and therefore been allowed to complete the whole course as booked. Also in our reply to your previous review we officered, as a gesture of good will, and providing you arrive on time next time, a 20% discount on your return for the CBT, which we will still honour.
